This is a great start. And you absolutely don't need talent to create lovely art pieces. But I'd definitely recommend using references to learn like WoodenKing said.

Personally, I try to understand the shape and form of something I'm trying to draw, noticing little patterns along the way. (Because the human mind loves shortcuts.) Like how much of a semi-circle the pupil and iris are making or where the arch of an eyebrow falls in relation to the corners of the eye. Get in some practice, try lots of tutorials to try to figure out how you best learn, and you'll get there.

The hardest part about teaching yourself this stuff is understanding how to teach yourself.

I'm not a particularly good artist myself, but pencil and paper is my favourite medium to use. The advice I have is to only colour in areas very softly and try to cover the entire area. That will give you an excellent base for shading. Keep up the practise, mate!

@tawdry saddle Definitely would recommend looking up different ways to shade and use of pencil at different pressures and hardness.
The shapes are not realistic and coloring is just chaos but still interesting form and I could see it as a nice piece with some more care in giving the areas shade and textures with some polish given to it.

Exploring the visual library in your mind or using references is also always nice to do but remember that art does not have to be perfect and needs to just experess your idea and vision in the moment.

Trying out new things is rewarding and you will find your own ways to achieve results you will be satisfied with in time with practice.

If you'd end up further pursuing art remember to never push too hard or you will burn out before you improve.

She and her wife have a sheep farm, which maggie uses to make the wool for her weaving and tailoring business. She's a clan crafter and made her own tartan

She's a tailor, not a stonemason or smith (even though she studied smithing, to make and maintain her own weapons for what she feels is a deeper connection to them) because, quote, "course dwarves need tailors. we can't all be stonemasons. oh, aye, right there, hen, let me just chisel mesel a bonny wee tunic outta marble."

What's the story behind this??

To make it simple, I'm currently working on a webcomic (still on the writing part for now), the story being about a young girl who discovers that books are portals to other world and not just imaginary stories. And a group of people has to maintain the barriers between these world by making concept of character inside these world to interact with them and maintain the illusion.

This animatic is a core scene where the main character loses something precious to her and i wanted to try and write this scene just to see how she would react and as an exercise for me.

I'm sure they do though I don't have it. I've done quite a bit of work for this DM including NPCs, magic items and symbols for deities so I know he has a very rich homebrew world he's built.
