I'm just starting in this community and i get some commissions but still not finding a continuity to make it full time, I'm in a group of FB call it D&D Fantasy Art and DMs guild in discord, but what i see is there are too many artist waiting for commissions and not the same amount asking for. To get commissions, you need a good social media presence; twitter, instagram, artstation. Your art needs to be visible. You also need to make art that isn't just commissions as that'll serve to promote you

That is super cute!, and the colors are very nice!, I could recommend you @sleek crescent to explore shape designing, I think that could help you a lot! The base is to use the basic geometric forms like triangles, squares and circles to bring a personality into you design, each shape has its own symbol as in the nature, things triangular like spikes are something usually associate it with danger, square is more about balance and straight and circle brings softness and cuteness, so base on that and using that shapes in different proportions will help you to show better what kind of personality you wanna bring to your character, try maybe to search on youtube shape design basics 🙂

A little cozy art station. If you want to know where I got all the stuff, I could tell you, but most of it is really old/was a gift, so ya. But I like it. Really gets me in that art vibe. Especially when I turn off the main light in this room and just have the electric candle (would be real if I had a nice one) for light. Feels really authentic for some reason. If you are wondering what is written on the pages, it's a bit of my character's backstory, but I haven't finished writing it, and it's paraphrased.

You can use basic craft acrylics but it's not recommended. The thinner consistency of miniature paints from Citadel, Army Painter, etc., are preferred and they also make washes which add depth (you can also make your own washes fairly simply). There are extensive YouTube and even Twitch stream resources on the subject.
