Heroforge is really good, it's a bit simple and you probably won't find the exact things but it is very useful. Also it's never to late to draw, even if you're technical about it (I'm quite technical about it myself).

You can easily change them.

There are sliders you can use to make the faces look less uncanny as well as other features you can pick. The trick is starting with features you kind of want and messing with the sliders. The proportion sliders also help

But while escaping the Underdark through a long series of caves and tunnels, his life would slowly dim as he desperately clawed through the caves. He would cut it off, in order to escape his old damned life, where he knew he would amount to nothing if he stayed.

He left deliberately to escape from his powerlessness, and would learn Markets, politics, and reputation function differently above, but the principle is the same. Nobles crave status. Mages require rare components. Alchemists depend on dangerous reagents. Collectors seek exclusivity.

What connects them all are monsters. Monsters produce wealth, prestige, magical breakthroughs, and trophies that prove influence.
He built a black market network around that truth. He does not traffic in drugs, slaves, or ideology. He sells what matters: the means to produce visible success. A rare heart that completes a ritual. A venom that perfects an elixir. A trophy that secures political standing.
He doesn’t sell monster parts, he sells outcomes. He sells proof.

My DM really liked the Drow OC I designed earlier and wanted to include it as a boss in his campaign.

So I drew some Spawn, and I also created a cool concept art piece for the scene.
Now the boss has its own lair and army!

(As for the names of these creatures, I wrote them down after running them through a translation tool. I don’t understand English, so I’m not sure if the translations are accurate.)
Does anyone have any feedback on the design of these creatures?They’re still just rough sketches without any shading, but I don’t think the final designs will change much from here.🙏

The Emerald Whisper (Dungeons & Dragons Character Concept)

Her name is Vaelithra Morwyn. she is a Draconic Tiefling who is a rare bloodline born from infernal ancestry mixed with ancient green dragon essence. Her backstory begin as a girl Beneath the Cathedral. Vaelithra was abandoned beneath the ruins of an ancient dragon worship cathedral where priests sealed forbidden knowledge away from the world. As a child, she heard voices no one else could hear. Deep below the cathedral, chained beneath layers of holy sigils, rested the Whispering Grimoire a living relic created from the memories of dead warlocks. When invaders destroyed the cathedral, the seals broke.The book chose her. Not because she was powerful. but because she was willing to listen. The grimoire fed her ancient knowledge in exchange for carrying its voice into the world. Over the years, its whispers transformed her body in to something different. her dragon wings emerged, her blood turned emerald and her soul became tied to forgotten magic. Now kingdoms hunt her as a cursed omen while secret cults worship her as " The Emerald Whisper".
Yet even Vaelithra no longer knows where her thoughts end… and the grimoire’s begin.

Nice. I took it a little further with one of my characters. I never heard anyone complaining about playing around with looks of demons from Dal Quor. So my kalashtar monk can communicate with a kitsune, which is, yup, a Dal Quor demon.

hey mate, something i can tell you, that every "beginner" should understand from day 1 to save you a lot of headache, is to NOT draw/paint every strand of hair and beard (as you kiiiinda doing)
as in real life, hair works as structures, there are a good amount of videos talking about this online

also run away from air brush!!!!!!
focus on big brush strokes for painting, not tiny little details, it will make your art look kinda messy
