Sketched a character concept for my current campaign!

Vivanos, one of the legendary dragon gods known as a Titanscale. The aspect of nature and creation; she gave life to thousands of species, made the first orders of druids, and created the dragonborn, kobolds, and similar humanoid races.

Tranquil and calm; carefully observing mortal lives but almost never intervening with them directly. This would change soon though, as undead rise up and threaten her domain. She will serve as a major part of the story helping the players defeat her brother…

Oh, he works in a local bakery! He's incapable of being an adventurer since he has a bad leg (caused by childhood accident) and wasn't quite supportive of his sister becoming an adventurer since he wouldn't be able to keep an eye on her (which didn't stop her) - he's an extremely swell guy tho, although kinda quiet!

He'll be involved in a quest where her sister was cursed by an amulet she found while adventuring, and was returned/abandoned back to him, so he'll ask the party to help escort him and his sister to a village that he heard could help

Nope, he still has his leg, but you can definitely tell he has a slight limp + he's in risk of easily overexerting his leg, so he might sometimes bring a wooden crutch with him!

This is super weird question but
In a low fantasy setting
Im trying to see how the body looks at each points of strength
If we see strong man competitions, they're body isnt muscular, its bulky and dare i say it, fat even
And even then, normal workers have more strength than body builders sometimes

Im just trying to build my characters visual design in a way that shows they're powerful but not bulky

So im trying to see how the body would look at 8 and above strength
(sry if asked before and this is pure flavor, just remember, no magic, this is a low fantasy setting)

This is a commission. She is a paladin but the request was to draw her in a number of outfits, this one one is a fine dress with her khopesh hanging from her belt. That kind of request is sort of right up my alley. I made her body fairly muscular (you will see it better in the other versions) because paladins are fighters, but also not too big because deities prefer paladins that look hot.
For her dress we went with a fairly simple design, I considered something more elaborate, but those normally don't work with a belt. But I made it of velvet with the gold details to show her condition.

Her mom got Susanne had her when she was only 68 (DAMNNNNN) with her unknown biological father. When her mom turned 123 she got married to a girl named Danielle. But Danielle was very abusive towards Delilah and her twin sister Haylee. When Delilah turned 61(14 in human years) she ran away to find her dad. Left her sister behind. Through birth records she found her father. His name was Derrick. He was part of a cult called the Unherd. Her dad took her in and taught her how to be a criminal. Until a few years later someone shot her dad in the face and watched him die in an alley. A few months later, she got a bf in the gang. His name was Chad. But a few weeks later Chad was also abusive (TvT) until one night chad got mad and pulled a gun on Delilah. Sooooooo she ran away (AGAIN) until she got lost in a forest, where she found an injured bear cub(awwwww) and saved the bear, and decided to become a Druid. And now she’s been living in the forest for 6 years living with the animals.

magic isn't a concept we have in the real world, so artistically portraying it leads to oodles canoodles of infinite different ways to interpret it

They look real nice, but personally I'd rather not have to squint to see what I've rolled. Thats just a personal opinion, but I do believe that maybe making the numbers a bit darker would still help, especially when rolling in brighter environments👍

All in all, great design, but personally wouldn't actually use🤷

Totally fair, and at the price point the platinum dice go for its reasonable that they'll likely stay out just for display

The new design with the embedded sapphires, the plan is to make the most expensive D20 ever made and hope it can make headlines. I'm thinking about it as if I'm paying for advertising and if it actually sells that'd just be a (rather large) bonus

Sourcing the gems, I'm reasonably hoping to list it close to the six figures.

This was my first ever D&D character and I cherish him deeply. Originally made to be a cleric, I switched him to a celestial warlock due to his backstory

Basically he sold "holy" artifacts that were just painted rocks that he promised would heal people or bring them good health. To sell this charade, he made a pact with an angel, allowing him to actually heal people. The angel does not like his scams so in exchange for the power Bonehelm has to actually preform work if someone is genuinely ill or injured.

My party's newest familiar they adopted after buying him in a secret auction!

Meet Wisp the Blink Fox; a curious fey fox who can teleports on a whim, and his mind runs a mile a minute. SUPER overhyper. All attempts by the auctioneer staff to leash/muzzle/tame him have all been unsuccessful; magic suppression doesn't seem to have any effect on him. Any attempts to domesticate him usually result in him teleporting away a short distance and then running like mad as he laughs his little head off.

The party loves him.

He too is a fire genasi, but he’s a fighter artificer

So he has a shoulder mounted cannon, multiple revolvers, a rifle and the ability to make dynamite

He was not built as a joke besides the name

But it is a good joke

He also has a robot crow named Bandit

And a metal arm that he can punch really good with

Well it’s hard to get another one

It’s enchanted and also has wires on the inside for metal tendons, and has enchantments to make it bend and function and punch good, so we’re looking at about 30,000 gold pieces

Dont know if u want advice or not but a good way is to draw things you dont normally draw :)
Like drawing weapons or swords or backgrounds or even a different character —

I think it looks really good! Only tips I have I’ve marked in red
The space between the eye and nose is shifted and not equal so it looks like the eyes are off center
And the mouth is centered with the eyes so it seems slightly off from the face as well.
I think the ear is fine as is but it might be possible to shift it slightly forward.
I think you’re doing great though, so take my advice or not and I think you’re all good :]

Hey does anyone have any experience resurfacing something (say a table or desk) with drawings/cards (any flat cardboard/paper medium). Basically im looking to change the look of a desk and I have some character cards I want to use. I'd prefer to not use a resin pour to finish it as I'm in an apartment and it's difficult to make the space for something like that. Is it possible to use a clear coat of something that will provide water proofing and durability?

@blissful lodge sorry this is old but I was scrolled up, just wanted to chime in that mod podge is NOT waterproof. Its sealant is vinyl acetate. Vinyl will slowly absorb / pass water. It will be water resistant, and fine if dried off quickly. You could use a brush-on urethane coating to adhere and seal the cards to the table. In the small space, the biggest concern there would be ventilation.
