Khanyon Veylor!! an npc from my one shot set 100 years before the present campaign

I was hoping they'd notice the links and hints, such as in their first session they learned Khanyon Veylor disappeared 100 years ago. Later they discovered he Ascended to godhood after he started to speak to one of my players (who was his descendant). so basically in this one shot they witnessed Khanyons ascension. Also one of my players on the present campaign, their character would know of this story because their God is the same God a players character from 100 yrs before worshipped. and that God tells storys, so he told them this story. Because his past worshipper betrayed yhe party, making present character hate the guy from the story.

They even met npcs from the city that they met in the first session (they didn't remember who they were lmaaoo)

Made a diorama titled "Dirt- Chult Jungle" I want to make one for each element from different regions

This I made with Monster Clay and beads (but have yet to mold and cast it. It is a relic of a Goliath tribal shaman from a unknown island off the coast of the Chult Jungle. I call it the Maraca of Madness, the shaman would shake it for ritual purposes. But when in battle he could shake it and pull the switch down which would then open the holes on the front around the eye. A thin layer inside the maraca holds a mixture of ingredients found only on that island. When mixed; shaken and released to the air the mixture dissipates into a mist causing 1d6 rounds of illusion on the effected in the radius of the mist (in other words in causes them to hallucinate). After creating it and looking in hindsight I should have put the switch towards the top of the handle, would be easier for the thumb to rest on and pull the switch quicker.

Creating a family tree currently for an artificer human named Darius Damascus. He is an estranged descendant of the Goban Damasucus family line of the Tethyr region. The man that "found" a unique steel ore that was highly sought after by various kings to be used for their knights armor. But with his fortune came a curse. You see Goban is the only one in his direct line that had lived to be old. There's a more detailed history of the discovery of the steel and the curse on the family members. But that's not for this channel. This art is very much a WIP btw.

This is a soon to be pet of my feral barbarian (goblin) player who has no interest in gold, and instead puts value into insects which are collected, hoarded, and protected fervently.

Yeah, she's my wife and I shouldn't have been surprised, but I was still a little surprised when she came up with the idea. She loves horror and grunge, so yeah.

She knew my goblins were creepy, had big toothy mouths, and noses that were closer to "voldemort" than goblin.

Then she leaned into it, and said she wanted to be feral and Gollum-ish. The character was to be so creaturey that it could not be sexually identified by anyone looking at it, they wouldn't even be able to guess if they had to. It's pronouns were to be it/its out of necessity, plus it is feral, it barely understands such social-constructs.

I had her next to me every step of the way when drawing her character, and I kept getting comments like "can we make it uglier?", so I did.

I'm really impressed with my wife actually, this is her first DnD go and she is roleplaying her creature fabulously, she's even a stronger roleplayer than many some of our more experienced players.

Yeah her cloak is made of moss and is a living ecosystem for her bug collection.

In my setting a goblin will always have some type of rabid obsession, for some it is gold, for others it may be small weapons, maybe it's badges awarded from the guards after solving-a-case/mystery, or in Muckknuckles situation its bugs. The goblins obsession usually determines if they are suited to live among civilization, or cursed to live life among bandits/outlaws/psychopaths

The concept seems interesting as well, almost like the race evolved to tone its greed factor up to an 11, but was forced to find alternatives to the usual gold they loved and splintered into so many different obsessions!

Yeah I thought a goblin is still a goblin as long as it is obsessed with and hoarding SOMETHING, it doesn't need to be gold. One NPC we did in a murder-mystery-dinner oneshot in ny setting was a goblin who works with the guards and is obsessed with mysteries, solving them, and the badges they are awarded when they solve one.

I've always loved goblins, and I knew that in my homebrew setting I wanted them to be a playable race, but I also know there's been some recent concern about goblins being an antisemitic metaphor, so I needed to make sure that mine weren't

Meet the Gormrindle! An uncommon species in my continent of “Ouroboria”, these football-sized reptiles are by far the most unique yet dangerous creatures to walk the island. They have a powerful digestion system with stomach acid so strong, they can digest nearly anything, from metals to trees to boulders.

They consume their food thanks to their segmented mouths, which hold three rows of teeth sharper than a sharks, and are able to spin violently like a grinder, and they drag or constrain their prey to their mouths thanks to their multiple tongues

These creatures have a very rare biology, as the bigger something is they consume, the bigger they can grow:
Tiny - the size of a golf ball(Hatchling)
Small - the size of a tennis ball(Toddlers)
Medium - the size of a football(Teens)
Large - the size of a house(Adults)
Huge - the size of a mansion(Elders)

Although they do grow to these sizes normally, this happens because their bodies are still learning to adapt to their massive appetites

They are tameable, but they are very stubborn and have short attention spans, as their only known behaviour is to eat so it can sustain itself

I recently got my first ever D&D book(the 2024 players handbook) and in that book it talks about the Tiefling Chthonic legacy and it says that some of them can look like night hags, Yugoloths or any other neutral fiend. So here is the Tiefling variant for the Ultroloth and Arcanaloth.
