character art i work on atm, my halfing inspired by yugioh and the pact of the fathomless. he was once a prince of a raising kingdom, but Ukathoah flooded his kingdom and he is the only one who survived.. he made a pact with this creature from the depths and once his task is done he get back what he once lost. his people and his country. all his spells are flavored with sand/water themed. halfling Mark of Healing is focused on the practice he did before the change of the pact and it show that he once was a pure healer. all his spells that deal dmg come only from his pact. putting a lot of heart in to it and once i am done i post again

I used to only do traditional art but always to try digital, I even tried three different set ups and programs before I found one that worked for me and was enough the same as traditional art that it didn't feel like ALL my work and skill was lost in translation. Lol

You could find artists that are taking commissions or requests to draw the character for you, drawing your characters yourself can be very fulfilling even if it doesn’t turn out how you wanted it to and after a bit you get to see yourself improve there’s lots of tutorials and guides on YouTube and TikTok which can help :D

Oh. There's a clasp that holds it on the cord. The wire stays on. It rolls in the wire cage. It took a long time to get it so the die didn't shift inside it.

An unmasked look at one of my current PCs in a game I joined a little bit ago: He used to be a powerful archlich before he was defeated by a group of adventurers, but instead of dying, a goddess gave him a second chance at life, and he took that chance to be kind. The goddess has dubbed him “Her Golden One”, after his golden skeleton, which once denoted his avarice during his time as a lich, but now denotes the pure good that shines in his soul.

Before he became a lich, he was a Goliath, and so I based the growths (lithoderms) on the top of his head and on his jawline on the goliaths from dnd 3.5 (I think that’s correct), which tbh, I feel like they should’ve kept in 5e cause it’s a cool detail. The runes he has carved in his skull read (top to bottom, left to right) “RBTH” (rebirth), “DETH” (Death), and “LIFE” in the Espruar script, which is the typical script for mortals who write in Deep Speech, one of my character’s favored languages.

Symbol overall, in the sense of logo, yes! The middle symbol took on reference from Triqueta, as it's known to be the tri-meaning icon in Celtic knots, which coincides with the Goddess in this question's meaning of life-death-rebith, which is surrounded by crescent shapes to symbolize how she is also the Moon Goddess + the stained glass shaped lines going "out" from the Triqueta symbolizes the light!

Could've probably chosen a better wording for it, but logo sounds too corporate for a symbol of a Goddess, I feel

I made a little vtt map thing with some PVC and an old TV I had, which is going to be very convenient for my in-person games

I wouldn't consider myself a crafty person but I'm trying to figure out how to fit a functional umbrella (with mechanism) into a 2-2.5 inch PVC pipe.

The thinking is, when closed and folded up, it'd sit right inside the top of the staff. The button to deploy it could even be accessible via a cutout hole in the pipe.

Anyone have any ideas? Do I get a cheap umbrella and Frankenstein it? Do I build a different deployment mechanism instead?

I figured I'd ask before I start making a mess and see if I'm reinventing the wheel or not.

Created a key for my players to translate the ancient language I have in my homebrew world.

Bit scuffed but it's a fun little side project to add something fun to the world.

to bad I can't really use it beyond the early game though since using language as a puzzle doesnt really work in 5e sadly. But the players took to this shockingly fast and one already has a basic understanding of how to use the alphabet.

its just rebranding the english alphabet which makes it easier. but hey, its meant to add more flavor then be hard to understand.

As much as I hate the stereotype that all Dragonborn are Paladins, I can’t deny that’s a damn cool idea.

My PFP is Herceran, a forgotten Heir to a Dragonborn kingdom raised by Dwarves. He’s basically a freedom Fighter. Literally, he’s a Samurai, because he doesn’t strike me as the political type. He’s an expert smith too, and probably feels more comfortable underground than aboveground.

He Smokes a pipe and is also an alchoholic.

Dwarves are all about pride and familial bonds with beards being their main form of pride
if your a dwarf criminal you prolly wont be allowed the privilege of a great beard youll either be shaven clean or relegated to a beard that while considered admirable by other races is considered puny and pathetic by any dwarf worth his or her salt. whuch goes back to female dwarves with beards, male or female beards mean a lot to dwarves its as normalized as hair is to humans, a dwarf women would prolly want a beard to show status

thus lilith being an outcasted criminal has a small beard that either through her own honor to the rules or by magic can not grow any longer then an average humans beard

His parents worked at the carnival and so since he was young he's practiced many magic tricks and once dreamed of being a great magician.
