A cute tiefling sorcerer (carrying the soul of his fiendish mother) browsing magic ropes corresponding to each school of magic from the upcoming Orelyn’s Opus of Outstanding Objects!
Character: Veris Sibyl, Tiefling Divine Soul Sorcerer, Browsing Magical Ropes
Veris Sibyl was born from the succubus Alyona’s reckless desire to steal the divinity of a dead god. When Alyona touched the dead god’s divine spark, it nearly unmade her, changing her body to that of a mortal infant and instilling Veris’ newborn soul in it.
Through luck and circumstance, a wizard found their body in the astral sea and brought them to be raised by a cleric of luck, which kept Veris’ infernal “mother” from causing too much damage as he grew up. Veris eventually made the body he lived in comfortable for himself and brokered a deal to nurse the now weakened Alyona back to health. He carries with him now her true name in the vial around his neck, and through her growing power she has begun to experience the world once more.
About the Rope of the Succubus:
This 50-foot length of rope smells of roses and is remarkably supple to the touch. The rope has been infused with subtle enchantment magic.
Any creature that attempts to untie, burst, or otherwise tamper with the rope must first succeed on a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or waste their action enjoying the softness of the rope and its pleasant smell.

A fated couple from our campaigns in Theomachy!
Characters: Lady Liannabeth Fairly, and Centurion Corina Callirix
Lady Liannabeth Fairly has enjoyed all the luxuries of the imperial capital from a young age. However, her heart yearned for freedom. As a political prisoner, she was never allowed leave the capital’s high walls, her only friends being other young ladies of the court and the occasional female guard. However, as a half-elf, Liannabeth had time on her side.
Liannabeth’s guardian, a powerful and influential lady of the imperial court, sought a wealthy and influential husband for Liannabeth. For decades, one after another, potential suitors failed to impress and marriage arrangements kept falling through until one day Liannabeth’s guardian, nearing the end of her life, declared: “We will hold a royal joust at the imperial amphitheater and the victor shall claim you as his bride.”
A dozen noble knights from all over the empire gathered to joust for Lady Liannabeth Fairly’s hand. One by one, they fell to a mysterious masked centurion from within the imperial capital who joined the joust at the last moment. As the final adversary fell, the mysterious centurion removed their mask and the entire amphitheater let out a collective gasp.
The victor was none other than Centurion Corina Callirix, one of Liannabeth’s personal guards. Corina walked up to Liannabeth and kissed her in defiance of the emperor’s law and the expectations imposed upon them. The crowd stared in disbelief as the two women climbed on a mighty pegasus and flew away together to freedom.
About the Theomachy setting:
In Theomachy, vengeful gods fight each other for ultimate control of the universe, while the mortals of Naam struggle for power on a dying world. Divine magic is a force without expressed will that the warring gods hoard and wield against each other, threatening to undo the entire world. Clerics and paladins are either devout followers of the warring gods or theomachists who fight against the gods, liberating divine magic and using it against them.

Alice rode from her seaside home astride her fey summoned warhorse, Valor, in search of allies and those in need. Unexpectedly, it was Veursg the goblin prince of Gnagamore that needed her most. Town after town had been massacred by wild goblins of the mountains and demons from another plane. Prince Veursg traded away more and more of his soul for dark powers to protect his people and Alice did all she could to protect him and the city. At last, victory was hard-won at the gates of Gnagamore. And although deeply saddened by the death of his parents and countless subjects, Prince Veursg was crowned King.

I completed this study of Dao Le, 12 hours to complete this study,
I am very satisfied overall, I had a lot of difficulty understanding this coloring method which is hell for those who have the video of the process but which is very strong compared to simply adding color or using the graphic, I had difficulty using the brush, the video is 8 years old now and the quality is not really so it is complicated to correctly see how it is taken, I had difficulty correctly designing the armor and the details was the most fun and incredible part to do but really really complicated, my hand now hurts..

I plan to continue making other DAO reproductions for Gumiho, Riven and Mothiana in which I will continue to learn more about the style to use, the way to use brushes, etc.

About the Theomachy setting:

Characters: Toresca, Human Rogue; and Corva’lis, Dark Elf Bard and Chronomancer (with a hint of demonic magic!)
Corva’lis is a dandy bard and chronomancer who knows when not to push it. He loves women… all of them, but he has met his match with Toresca.
Toresca is a no-nonsense human assassin. She has little sense of humor and usually shows no signs of emotional reaction to most things. She hated Corva’lis at first, and now she’s too stubborn to admit that she’s started liking him, just a bit!
They are both mercenaries aboard the Silver Crest, serving under a halfling captain and a minotaur first mate.

when you are the dm and also an artist, you do a lot of designwork yourself

i've been running a magical girl campaign, and as the DM, i get to play the cute mascot character that gives my players superpowered transformations. This is Kimudon, the guardian dragon of Jabbertowne whom after being cursed to being smol, must turn to the party for help in maintaining peace and order. One of the longterm goals of the campaign has been to undo this curse and return him to his true form. This coming tuesday my players will be getting access to a wish spell, and I realized there is a chance they may choose to use it to help Kimudon.

So I got to work designing what his true form looks like. Pro tip: when designing dragons, use dinosaurs as reference. i primarily looked at velociraptor skeletons. currently in love with the firebeard, just trying to settle on a pair of horns

~Hey! I'm new! I'd like to share a very nice NPC anyone can use, be warned I do enjoy homebrew!~

Meet Gotia
A Kenku/human, with her mother being a tribal Shaman (druid) and her father a plague doctor (cleric). Each follow custom homebrew deities who do not get along. Like, hera and zeus levels of petty between these two. The two deities have a rule their followers can't fraternize with each other. Unfortunately, her parents didn't listen. Definitely a lust not love kind of attraction. Then poof! A baby! Deities find out, they're not happy. To try and prevent more followers pairing together they punish the parents...by cursing the baby. Like a couple of jerks. Long story short, she's functionality immortal. Her soul is immortal, but her body is not. The miffed deities also double her natural life span (~200). Neither parent wanted a kid, and the infatuation has worn off. Their solution? Well, both parents' respective homeland is about a week apart. So they just- dump their infant right in the middle of the two locations and say 'welp, if she survives and makes it to either side of her family then she's that parents problem. Parents of the year. She grows and matures alone, and manages to avoid humans until she's about 210. By then, her mortal body is starting to decompose, leaving her beak and face skeletal in appearance with the rot slowly spreading over the years. Being that not a lot of Kenku/human hybrids survive to adulthood in this world, humans have no idea what she is. The closest thing she could be is a bird type demon called Goetia (loosely based version) so they just screamed 'Goetia!!!' and ran. She mistakes this for a name, since she never had one. Since she isn't used to Common tongue, she says Götia (Gö-tia). To avoid a bounty, she sews her own plague-shaman outfit, complete with mask. She becomes a Mystic (order of Avatar), to confront the dieties, forcing all the negative emotions she's suffering through onto them to find closure.

Character: Neket, Moon Elf Illusionist Wizard
Neket is a gifted young wizard from Timinhur, an elven city with strong ties to the moon. She has studied all schools of magic but has a certain inclination towards illusion magic that twists the perception of reality and dazzles the senses.
After remaining trapped in a cryophagus for sixteen years, Neket had to flee Timinhur to escape the Selenian Idea, an ambitious coup that turned her nation into a sterile and oppressive regime, and transformed most of its people into spellforged constructs, able to survive on the barren moon of Naam.
Now on the run, Neket must rely on unlikely allies to remain free and perhaps find a way to help more of her people escape the oppression of the Selenian Idea.
Neket is one of my own characters in Theomachy!
About the Theomachy setting:
In Theomachy, vengeful gods fight each other for ultimate control of the universe, while the mortals of Naam struggle for power on a dying world. Divine magic is a force without expressed will that the warring gods hoard and wield against each other, threatening to undo the entire world. Clerics and paladins are either devout followers of the warring gods or theomachists who fight against the gods, liberating divine magic and using it against them.

My group adopted a baby mimic they bought from a blackmarket peddler so I crafted him out of recycled materials, drew him as a cartoon, and then I drew and animated a battle (inspired by one of my favorite games) when they told me they wanted him to fight a rat 🐀 😅 (see video). It's been a completely unhinged, unplanned and yet totally awesome project that's for sure! Lol

An easygoing sea elf cleric I drew!
Character: Arannis Nightbreeze, Sea Elf Tempest Cleric
Arannis is a sailor. He's spent most of his life at sea, whether fishing, delivering cargo, or diving for sunken treasure. He doesn't really care where his next meal comes from.
One day, while he was diving, a terrible storm hit, tossing him about. He wasn't really the religious sort, but he found himself praying all the same. Just then he grabbed ahold of something: a necklace with a dolphin pendant. The water became calm around him, even though he could still see the storm raging all around. He received a vision from the sea elf goddess Deep Sashelas and emerged from the water only to find a mysterious set of armor waiting on his ship. He took this as a sign of divine favor and pledged his life to the goddess as a cleric of the tempest domain from then on.

You can do this easily in Obsidian.md. It has the canvas feature which does this but I prefer the exalidraw plugin. It offers more freedom. It's shown in the bottom left of the screenshot.

Obsodian offers vastly more functionality though. You can link the nodes to your notes and really use these mind maps to manage your campaigns.

Working on a playable version of Castle Ravenloft.. got the first floor layout almost completely done, just need to finish the exterior bricks, paint, and then add doors and stairs..

I did have to squish it a bit for playability reasons, 4" walls are about as high as I'd consider feasible.. so it's gonna end up being 3 feet tall instead of 6 feet tall at the highest tower.
