Really not a big fan of Aasimar characters in DnD, actually I typically despise them, so I am trying to make my own to see if I can learn to like em
I present my WIP for my Artificer Aasimar of celestial relation to Moradin

#

Metal organs and limbs for that smithing vibe (Metal heart, collarbone, ribs, arms, top of the pelvis), plus the sideburns for that dwarf vibe without being a dwarf or going full beard for her

#

We've decided that the reason that she doesnt have wings other than being a Scourge is because she's bound to the ground by the creations of the dwarves, losing her wings she would have been given in nature from being an Aasimar

FLUORINE ELEMENTAL!
Fluorine elementals extremely reactive and toxic elemental buddies from Periodic Table of Elementals!
Creature Spotlight: Fluorine Elemental
The most reactive element, fluorine, is a highly toxic, pale-yellow gas that reacts with every other element in the periodic table except helium and neon.
Even more electronegative than oxygen, fluorine will grab electrons from other elements to form a remarkably wide range of compounds, sometimes with explosive results, especially when reacting with hydrogen and the most reactive alkali metals.
Thanks to its extreme reactivity, fluorine is never found unbound in nature, and fluorine elementals are a rare sight to behold, despite their element’s abundance in numerous minerals. Fluorine elementals are dangerous to approach and handle thanks to their high toxicity and tendency to cause everyday materials like wood and even water to spontaneously combust.
Difluorine Elemental Allotrope. At standard conditions, two fluorine elementals can each use their action to bind with each other and form a stable difluorine elemental. In this state, the two fluorine elementals add their current hit points together and count as a single creature. The difluorine elemental can use a bonus action to split back into its two fluorine elemental constituents. The difluorine elemental’s current hit points are divided evenly between the two fluorine elemental constituents.
What do you think? 🙂

ARSENIC ELEMENTAL!
Arsenic elementals are toxic yet friendly elemental buddies from Periodic Table of Elementals!
Creature Spotlight: Arsenic Elemental
Relatively abundant and fairy toxic, arsenic is an unusual metalloid that has earned considerable notoriety among mortals thanks to its relative ease of use as a deadly poison. Arsenic is fairly common and usually exists combined with other elements in many minerals, but it can very rarely be found as pure crystals in nature.
Arsenic’s lighter siblings from group 15, nitrogen and phosphorous, are essential to all nonmagical beings, and for some creatures, arsenic is also an essential nutrient in trace amounts. However, arsenic is poisonous to most humanoids even in relatively small quantities.
Despite the dark reputation of arsenic among mortals, arsenic elementals are rather benign and even friendly towards those who treat them without prejudice. However, mortals who approach an arsenic elemental with sinister motives (either to harm it or to use its powers to harm others), risk of provoking the elemental’s dangerously toxic wrath.

POTASSIUM ELEMENTAL!

Potassium elementals are hazardously reactive yet fascinating elemental buddies from Periodic Table of Elementals!
Creature Spotlight: Potassium Elemental
Light, abundant, dangerously reactive, and necessary for most living creatures, potassium is as hazardous as it’s fascinating. Chemically similar to its alkali metal sibling sodium, potassium will react with almost everything and is never found uncombined in nature. Potassium is also the second lightest metal after lithium, and like its smaller siblings it can float on water. However, potassium reacts violently with water, generating enough heat to ignite the hydrogen the reaction produces, which creates a distinctive violet-colored fire that can’t be put out with water.

SULFUR ELEMENTAL!
Sulfur elementals are colorful and friendly elemental buddies from Periodic Table of Elementals!
Creature Spotlight: Sulfur Elemental
Extremely abundant and found as pure crystals and in numerous minerals in nature, sulfur is a nonmetallic element that mortals have known since ancient times. Sulfur is one of the fundamental building blocks of life and an essential macronutrient for all living creatures.
Sulfur can exist in numerous different forms and has more than 20 known allotropes, second only to carbon among all elements. In its most common form, elemental sulfur forms microcrystals with a striking yellow color. When burned, it melts into a bright-red liquid and produces a blue flame.
Sulfur elementals are generally mellow and calm. They are usually friendly towards other creatures and elementals (especially their selenium elemental siblings), but they often prefer to spend time among their own kind, standing side-by-side to form friendship circles resembling the most common molecular configurations of the element they embody.

SELENIUM ELEMENTAL!
Selenium elementals are cutely photoconductive and relatively toxic elemental buddies from Periodic Table of Elementals!
Creature Spotlight: Selenium Elemental
Selenium is a relatively rare element with properties similar to its group 16 siblings sulfur and tellurium and its periodic table neighbor arsenic. Having several allotropes and properties similar to metalloids, selenium is considered by some sages to be a metalloid as well, though most categorize it as a nonmetallic element.
Though most of selenium’s properties are similar to its periodic table neighbors, its crystalline allotropes are outstandingly photoconductive. When exposed to sufficient light, crystalline selenium becomes able to convert light energy into electrical energy and its electroconductivity increases by more than a factor of 1000. This rare property of selenium makes it much sought-after by crafty and ambitious artificers.
Tiny amounts of selenium are essential for many nonmagical creatures, but in larger doses pure selenium and many of its compounds become toxic, though not as much as arsenic.
Selenium elementals are generally easygoing and friendly, if not a bit shy. They often like to socialize with their sulfur elemental siblings, and they will sometimes come together with other elements to form a wide range of compounds, some of them toxic (e.g. with fluorine) or explosive (e.g. with nitrogen).

Yalaria and her Copper Elemental Friend
Yalaria is a character from our D&D games and the covergirl of Periodic Table of Elementals!
Character: Yalaria the Elementalist, Sun Elf Alchemist
Cheerful and curious, Yalaria is a sun elf alchemist who searches for elusive elementals that embody the properties of rare chemical substances. Her quest to find the most exotic elemental creatures led her through an ancient gate to the Island of Stability, a planar sanctuary touching every elemental plane where even the most volatile elementals can remain stable and interact with each other… usually without explosive consequences.
Living alongside unusual elementals, Yalaria learned to appreciate the finer differences between them and the powers they each wield. Eventually, she became attuned to elemental magic found the means to return to the world of mortals with rare knowledge and even rarer friends!
Creature Spotlight: Copper Elemental
Easy to mine and work with, copper was the first metal the mortal races learned how to smelt and cast into molds, a fact that delights the bouncy and often helpful copper elementals who were there when mortals crafted their first metal tools. Since then, copper elementals, along with their siblings from group 11, the silver elementals and the gold elementals, have been enduring symbols of progress and wealth among many cultures.
Copper is soft and malleable, and it’s highly conductive to heat and electricity. It also has a distinct orange color that is unusual among elements. Copper elementals embody these unique properties, making them especially useful to mortals who take the time to befriend them. Thanks to the usefulness and abundance of their element, copper elementals have played a key role in the development of many societies. From smelted copper tools in the Copper Age of humans to fine copper circuits used by modern artificers, copper elementals have been aiding mortals every step of the way.
In battle, copper elementals are particularly difficult to harm with electricity or heat, as they can just conduct and redirect such damage away from themselves. Their high malleability and softness also give them a degree of protection against conventional attacks.
Copper elementals are good buddies with many other elementals, and especially tin elementals, with which they teamed up to form bronze, the very first alloy used by mortals.

TELLURIUM ELEMENTAL!
Tellurium elementals are versatile and rare elemental buddies from Periodic Table of Elementals!
Creature Spotlight: Tellurium Elemental
A slightly toxic and rare metalloid, tellurium shares many chemical similarities with its group 16 siblings selenium and sulfur, but also has some properties of metals. Tellurium is somewhat rare in the universe but it’s extremely rare on the world of mortals, making tellurium elementals a rare sight to behold unless summoned. Sometimes tellurium exists in its pure elemental form in nature, but it’s more often found in minerals known as tellurides, usually combined with gold and silver.
Tellurium has two allotropes: crystalline and amorphous. Crystaline tellurium forms silver-white crystals, while amorphous tellurium is a brown-black powder. While crystalline tellurium is resistant to oxidation and does not corrode when exposed to air, amorphous tellurium is corrosive and more dangerous. Tellurium elementals embody this duality, being able to switch between a defensive and somewhat passive crystalline form to an aggressive amorphous form at will.
Humanoids poisoned by tellurium suffer from dizziness and weakness, and they exude an overwhelmingly pungent garlic-like smell known as “tellurium breath”.
A few highly advanced societies use tellurium in applications so sophisticated that to the eyes of outsiders seem to blur the line between magic and technology, such as contraptions that harness the power of the sun.

My dnd character that has now just become my favorite character in the whole world, is slightly possessed by The Keeper, but I dont know what the official art/design for him is because it seems like there isnt one… So i was just making my own version that i could easily draw. i was wondering if it looks like a good concept, or if its completely inaccurate to his description.
I know what he’s portray as, and i do want to try and draw a version where he more resembles a lich or goul, but you wont catch me dead drawing a skeleton dragon 😭

Nitrogen ELEMENTAL!
Nitrogen elementals are tiny, abundant, and potentially deadly elemental buddies from Periodic Table of Elementals!
Creature Spotlight: Nitrogen Elemental
Nitrogen is one of the most abundant elements in the universe and the single most abundant element in the atmosphere of the world of mortals. In its monatomic (single-atom) state, nitrogen is will bond with every element on the periodic table except helium and neon. However, nitrogen bonds with itself stronger than with any other element, and the bond between two nitrogen atoms is the strongest bond between two of the same atoms, resulting in the colorless, odorless, and almost completely inert dinitrogen, also known as nitrogen gas.
While nitrogen gas is virtually inert, nitrogen compounds with other elements are often volatile and explosive, and they will release a lot of energy when burned or exploded to form nitrogen gas. Nonetheless, many nitrogen compounds are essential to all nonmagical life, including fundamental building blocks of life such as proteins.
Nitrogen can exist in its single-atom state only at high temperature and pressure, so nitrogen elementals are almost always found in pairs, keeping each other company and negating each other’s potent electronegativity. While pairs of nitrogen elementals are generally calm and easygoing, single nitrogen elementals are fidgety, volatile, and often dangerous.
What do you think? 🙂

She is a raging alcoholic and glutton , very silly character but she will refuse to drink this extremely fine wine and fancy meals but rather take them to a secluded place as offerings to Rethna (her god) and sing the same songs her mother used to sing to her. She wont sing for anyone else and really tries to be tough and all. But she just wants to protect everyone and let her god know that she loves him and not just the powers that he amplifies in her.

Designing the Matron Mothers for my Drider Barbarian's homebrewed Underdark City/Setting
We jokingly call them the 4 Mamas and I've started 3/4 of them, one of them being Mushroom/Spider themed due to having a lot of Spore Druids

The Matron Mothers here are all a little different given that their city, Velinunsindrach aka Velinu is an entertainment city with things like Opera Houses and a Colosseum, the 4 houses are-
House Reiz'thyll: A House of Necromancers with the only Crypt used to seemingly bury the dead, as foreign as a concept that is to the Drow
House Avanoch: A Farming House, full of Spore Druids with their Myconids, they grow mushrooms to make the best food and wines for events
House Hun'tral: The Martial House who owns the Colosseum of the City, one of the two biggest sources of Entertainment
House Myrsithis: The most magically inclined House and Funder of the Opera house which they use to sway the trends of their city in their favor

Hey there fellow dungeoneers and role-players, I want to share something with you that I made for our run of Storm King's Thunder. I play a Bard character that I have grown fond of. I spent days writing up the backstory for this character and we run the game in a way that uses both the published module and personal character stories, a bit like in Baldur's Gate III. Overall it's a balanced game of hack-and-slash and role-playing moments.

I wrote some of this music about 2 years ago during this time of year. A third song I had started, but then other projects kept me tied up until now. I want to share this music with you and would like to hear what you think. It's instrumental, orchestral music but I have written lyrics for 2 of them in the descriptions about the campaign and the characters. I consider the Lay of the Storm to be my characters oath-song, or the main theme, if you will. Night at Galder's Tower is basically a night-time ambience for where we go to camp, and then I wrote a drinking song for the tavern. Thanks for taking an interest:

Still on my dnd character design update spree…

This is my barbarian, Odin! He is a sweet normal man. A human. Odin is human.

At least, that’s what he pretends to be. Odin, in actuality, is an “embodied mouther” - a gibbering mouther who has gained something more than its monstrous nature.

He is truly a kind soul, trying to fight against his instincts, but his appetite just happens to sometimes get in the way of that sometimes :)

A rowdy barbarian wielding Bariq, the Red Spark from my book Orelyn’s Opus of Outstanding Objects!
Character: Gwenwyn Swanson, Kalashtar Barbarian, wielding Bariq, the Red Spark
In her own words, Gwen went to “barbarian university” and got a doctorate in butt-kicking. Raised by a kind but weird elven woman named Enzana, Gwen grew up among elves who treated her and her adoptive mother as oddballs. When she was old enough, Gwen left home, though she still writes to Enzana regularly.
During her travels, Gwen achieved many heroic feats while never shying away from a fight. Eventually, she met and fell in love with a female dark elf paladin of Eilistraee named Krizira. The two got married, but unfortunately don’t see each other often as Krizira’s duties take her away. To keep in touch, they have obtained a magical notebook that allows them to write notes to each across the planes.
About Bariq, the Red Spark:
Forged in the heart of an entropic maelstrom by a deranged aberrant demigod, Bariq took the shape of the weapon its insane creator thought would bring the chaotic storms it so loved in the world of mortals. Now lost in the kaleidoscopic dunes of Prisma Desert, Bariq is all but forgotten, its chaotic magic waiting to be unleashed again.
What do you think? 🙂

A powerful warlock and paladin I drew!
Character: Rose, Tiefling Hexblade and Paladin
Rose was born in Barovia, land of the vampire count Strahd von Zarovich. Her mother's family were cursed to be mongrelfolk and her father assumed a new identity to become Strahd's right hand man.
A dark curse put her into a 200-year-long sleep, and she remained frozen inside the infamous Death House until a band of adventurers woke her up one night and she’s been with them ever since, trying to learn about her past and her family.
Here, Rose is striking down a skeletal dragon!

Slightly less dungeons related then usual, Gōt is a Neanderthal man who lived in the plains of France during the pleistocene. His family used the flax that littered the rolling hills to spin unique fibrous string. They would trade this string with coastal Neanderthal and Homosapiens

#

This is Gōt in his later years. At 44, his exports have brought him great wealth. His family has not had to move for 6 winters. Their homes, now made of clay instead of leaves, provide them with ample protection, and the environment needed to store precious food through the winters. He will die at 46 from an infection in his teeth, he will be hailed orally for generations, and then, never again. His string will not be the string of the homo-sapien-sapiens, and his techniques will never leave the 30 mile stretch he called home. None the less, he was human, he was intelligent, and he was kind

A sorcerer and warlock I drew! Can you find the five fire elementals hiding in there?
Character: Etrius Evermore, Wild Magic Sorcerer and Geenie Warlock (plus 5 hidden fire elementals!)
Etrius was born of a noble family in Sigil the city of doors. His mother was a teacher at Rowan academy and his father was an administrator in the Hall of Records where they collect and keep knowledge form all across the Multiverse.
Etrius studied to take his father's place but sadly, through a curse or just cosmic bad luck, he started developing chaotic magical powers. No amount of training allowed him to control this magic, and this threatened the noble status of his entire family. Determined, he set out to the Prime Material Plane to find a way to cure himself.
However, his chaotic magic flared the moment he was stepping through the portal, sending him to the City of Brass instead of the Prime Material. At the City of Brass, he was sold as a slave but eventually escaped thanks to the lessons he learned growing up. Thanks to his eloquence and magical studies, he caught the eye of a powerful efreeti who made a deal with him to help control his magic and complete his journey. In exchange, Etrius would help expand the efreeti’s influence if he ever managed to return to Sigil.
What do you think? 🙂
P.S. Did you find the five hidden elementals?

Recolored my Jurassic Park/Lizardfolk mask; while doing so I noticed the scar accents on the right (that just so happen to work with my characters description) but it needs more! I need some method of carving more precise scar grooves into the face without breaking its structure or cut too deeply through the plastic. Ideas?

ripe granite
#

Maybe melting it a bit using a wood-burner. You wouldn't want to go too deep, and you'd have to do this outside in a well-ventilated area.

#

I think if the mask is thin plastic, you might want to preemptively put some sort of support in the interior. Possibly a layer of epoxy or resin that can harden up, or even getting a really good glue and gluing a sheet of leather or canvas in there. Something that can help make up for the exterior having less support.

summer nacelle
#

I've done something similar with an exacto knife heated with a candle flame (from lack of materials and patience to wait until I have the proper tools)

ripe granite
#

Sure, though ideally with a wood burner you could just push the plastic inward, instead of carving any of it out.

#

(Also that sounds like it would take a grueling amount of time lol)

split gust
#

Maybe a Dremel or something similar if you have that, you'd have to be careful though if it's thin, also do it in short bursts so the friction doesn't soften the plastic

summer nacelle
split gust
#

Or for the wood burner thing you could support the back so the melted plastic pushes out towards you instead of away from you, and then you could trim it off with some sort of knife

summer nacelle
#

I'll try it out later today, if and when I get my butt outta bed

Campaign shirt image of my character from the last campaign I was in. An undead goatfolk originally from the shadowfell, warlock Druid multiclass, lawful evil eldritch being. Slightly obstructed by the image of the paladin on the shirt front. The blue-red thing happening has to do with a very nerdy physics thing called “redshift” and “blueshift” that occurs with light in space. Essentially, in basic English, he’s phasing in and out of that dimension constantly, flickering from one point in space to another. Inspired in part by the character “Darkiplier” from various indie film things by the renowned YouTuber Markiplier, whom I have subscribed to since the early days of his channel.
Also, what he’s holding is an adamantine chalice filled with blood, in case anyone was wondering.
