hey there's a new AI art scam going around where people are selling AI art for hundreds of dollars and claiming they made it. Some red flags to watch out for: Did the user post that they have commissions open immediately after joining the server and has posted in no other channel? (Except to ask where they can post art?) When you look at their twitter or portfolio, Do aspects of the art look off ?(blurry, painted over without any polish? weird shapes?) When you look at their portfolio, do pieces have wildly different art styles?

best advice I have is that it's a process, and it requires practice.. don't get down on yourself if things don't look exactly how you see it in your head.. it will eventually.. instead find the things you did that you like, and any minor, subtle improvements from previous attempts.

Yesterday i struggled with my befor bed scetch. But in the end i had at least a face i liked. Now, on a trainride, i refined the scetch a little more and a chracter came to together i realy like and wanted to share.

Orfried, used to be a merchant and money lender. He has been ruthless and at best moraly grey.
But when his wife left him he started to stuggle to push away his guilty conscience. He than slowly started to find a new way. When a former rival halfling merchand told him about Yondalla, something feld right about it. In the beginning he got alot of backlash from the halflings but since he was realy disciplinated and stubborn, the started to accept him. One day, in something that feld like an accident he casted is first bless. That was when he new what to do. He donated most of his money and left his hometown to finaly bring good into the world, as a human cleric to yondalla.

If you google "how to draw Manga books" you find alot of stuff. I personally think the best way to find one you like is looking throug some of them in a bookstore. Moste bigger ones have quite a few (at least where i live)
Debending on how expierienced you allready are you will find something you like. And if you are realy just starting your drawing journey i think whatever gets you started is good.

Like, let's say you found a sword that you like but it has rubies and you wanted sapphires

Working out how to change the colour of the gem without changing the rest of the sword...that's what I would do in GIMP

Or changing the length of the blade without affecting the handle and guard.

The most complicated "art" thing I have done recently was making animations for my Barbarian. We use Foundry, and I use animated weapons. There wasn't an animation that fitted the character's description of the sword, so I had my player choose one from a free 3D asset, animated it in a program called Blender with some tutorials from Youtube, and put it in our game. https://twitter.com/jale_xel_jela/status/1647934389920120833

Turns out the problem was actually FFMPEG's ingest of webp files, leading to essentially this weird binarised aliased alpha around the edge of the object. Fixed by rendering to png instead.

It was non-trivial, but all of that was just from getting these free softwares and playing around until I got what I wanted. Expensive tools are helpful but not necessary to get good results.

I like to use the dry-erase mats as underlayment for battle maps, or travel encounters, etc. But I don't always use them or sometimes I don't want to bring them to another place. So, I designed this board. It's sliced into chunks that fit in my 3D printer's build zone, and because of that it's easy to transport, It's got the 1in dot grid, just in case I don't have the mats handy, It's big enough to have a mat sit inside it still, if that's what we do, and you can take out any row or column and it will still fit together for a smaller footprint. It's also numbered for ease of assembly.

Decorative bands in hair and beard are made of cheap metals like copper or iron.

Has the muscular build to be expected of a barbarian.
Arms are heavily scarred with scratches or bites from various farm animals or farmyard pests.
Back has patches of light scarring that runs in straight lines.
Has an unknown pale blue rune that has appeared recently in the center of his chest; may expand along with his powers.

Wears no clothing above the waist apart from a plain white bandana he keeps around his neck; he uses it to cover his mouth in particuarly dusty locales. and a whistle
Clothing consists of a rugged leather tabard with studs of iron and some decorative white fur along the hems, plain white leggings, leather boots with iron toes, along with a belt.
The belt is particuarly old and once belonged Grendal's grandfather. The belt is roughly the width of Grendal's hand and is made of a much darker and more expensive looking leather.
