If you draw it with a pencil I think the lines will look better, then either take a picture of the pencil drawing or scan it with a scanner (many printers have one built in, and public libraries also usually have scanners) Once you do that, you could use a site like remove.bg (might want to turn up the contrast before doing this) to isolate the lines into a png without the background, and then import that png of the lines into whatever art program you use and add color from there.
Alternatively, using the path tool (if your program has one) can help make smoother lines, and the path tool usually lets you fill with it so it's also great for coloring, you can usually even disable the outline and just have the fill, for clean and precise shapes of color, I use an in-browser drawing site called Sketch.io, the fill bucket on Sketch.io is bad, so I just use the path fool and set it to fill

I drew a mask that one of our characters use. He’s a “mad hatter”. He wears his hat normally but when he gets into combat he flicks his hat forward and to the side where a mask snaps down and forms around most of his face. He mutters about teas, cakes, and eloquence while swinging around a massive axe that also doubles as his cane.

And there is his axe. He taps it down against the floor when it’s business time and that extra bit of handle snaps down for some extra length. He then hefts it up and starts swinging. He serves as the Jack of Hearts to the Red Prince whose sword is on the right.

Ahaha nope didn't use marvelous designer maybe next time need to buy it right? The cloak I used blenders cloth sim to get the waving effect, but the jacket and pants I used the sculpting tool and pose brush to get the folds and crinkles
