A Fighter with Stealth is about as easy to get as a Barbarian with Arcana or a Wizard with Athletics

The main reason it came up from the other guy was just thinking it should get stealth (I assume because it is beneficial in adventure dungeon crawls) but the class vibe is more about fantasy tropes than meta or even realistic reasons when evaluating if you would actually be walking into something with optimal skills.

They'll probably go easy on you and take some time to help you figure out the rules. The main gameplay is just "DM, Can I try X?" followed by the DM telling you if you need to roll a d20 to successfully do so.

Huh, D&D is a tool of study in psychology and gamtheory for me.

I started making my personal world around metaphor for the way we might see the world if our primal assumptions about reality were true, then viewed from a lense of various points of view of systems that are well codified in the field.

I use those points of view to construct the various cultures and pantheons that are but aspects uf the underlying core psychology involving the regions of the brain and their functions.

Makes for a surreal familiar atmosphere that allows me to then build a perspective for each player when I describe things to them. (but I do need to psychoanalyze the PC) rather than the player. So it helps people to slip into RP and be invested.

One was a witch who put people in her cauldron and attack the others, each turn of someone the person in the cauldron get % damaged (i think it was 5% of their max HP damage)
The Pig King, he is blind and attack fierly. He have a lil companion who mark the persons and the king obliterate them.
If you attack the lil pig the king get rabid and attack EVERYONE.

It is, in teh game he is an HP sponge and the way to fight him is, either protect the markeds or get rid of the marks.
in both you will be taking damage but if you dont get rid of teh marks the party will get OBLITERATED.
After killing the big one you have to fight hte small one who have stuns and is really slippery

The bounded maths of 5e is good for some things, but this is one of the downsides of it. I don’t think there’s much you can do to prevent this.

Most of what I’ve seen over the years is trying to compensate with magic items or trying to balance encounters as a DM so that you don’t always use the same types of saves, that way, nobody ever gets caught all the time by for example a wisdom save. Having a group balances this out :)
