Well any tips you guys can give me for D&T product design
I'd advise u to think quickly because if u think about it, u don't have much time. Use rulers, and make everything clear, literally. Think of the examiner as like stupid, because they literally don't know anything about your ideas so u want to explain it to them, make it clear for them". If u have time, color in the drawings, it gets u extra marks. Also i've read that question 2 is the easiest, do whatever u want with that information..

Vacuum forming process
- The mould is placed on the platen.
- A thermoplastic sheet is placed over the airtight seal, and clamped above the platen.
- The heater is pulled across.
- The platen is raised so the mould is sitting underneath the plastic.
- The vacuum is turned on, and the plastic is sucked over the mould.
Die cutting process
The commercial process of cutting material using a shaped metal die.
- Draw the material onto a CAD software such as TechSoft to convert your drawing into a vector file which
Laser cutting process
- Have your drawing in a CAD software and convert it into a vector file format which the laser cutting machine can read.
- Adjust the settings of the machine such as speed, power, and resolution.
- The machine will read the vector file and process the thin lines made in the drawing.
Blow moulding process
This is used for the production of hollow plastics.
- The plastic is melted in a parison, therefore becoming molten.
- The molten plastic from the parison will fall into the mould.
- The air pressure will push the plastic out to match the mould.
- The plastic mould is left to cool.
- Once it's hardened, it is ejected out of the machine.
Injection moulding process
- Plastic pellets are fed through the hopper of the injection unit. Inside the barrel, a screw will push the pellets forward.
- There are heater bands around the barrel which melts the plastic pellets gradually which will be molten by the time it reaches the front of the barrel.
- The screw will push the molten plastic out into an empty cavity of a moulder like a syringe.
- The plastic in the cavity will solidify and then it's ejected.

it's actually quite difficult to pinpoint exact content for DT especially in papers like Graphic Products and Product Design with the latter being considerably more difficult. At that point the best that i personally can think of is providing tips and guidance on how to do the paper, if that is acceptable for notes

I mean the whole paper was basic and simple
But it was lengthy
The main problem was in the first question they gave us a radius that was almost impossible to set with an ordinary compass!
I was unable to finish planometry which was of 8 marks... Will probably get 1-4/8
Rest all I was able to do... Crazy paper, I guess I won't get A* after all UNLESS the GT reduces to under 160
