Some Waves Defense tips.

Low level players can beat 3rd waves. 2 days back was crazy.. a L39, L34, 2 L30s and I L41. Under lv39 should bring speciality ships, the lowest levels can have all miners, the strongest player should be in 2 different sides and can kill 1st and 2nd wave speciality hostiles with regular ships. To test if you're okay by passing 1st wave solo.

PS: I don't kick low level players out, If I initiate I will say all levels can join. Mark this Scopely!

You should have gotten the existing arc currency from a gift box at launch. Pattern buffers for old arcs are provided through the battle pass yes but those are different currencies

You only get the Matrix Diodes at the start of an arc, if you are eligible for the missions I believe. Not sure what happens if you don’t need them at the start, then increase Ops mid-arc.

there's a 3rd place; the ex-borg megachests. At first you'll only see the G4 megachest, but once you hit 50 you also get the g5 and the pace picks up (there are ship parts offscreen in in both chests). I believe it's a 4 day cooldown, though it might be 5.

As far as I have looked in different discord, there is no completed chart for the Gorn refinery.
I do know, as I went to 61, that the refinery changed and stopped giving me g4/5 ship parts and gave me g5/6 instead.

If you are hitting any interceptors including swarms, you should use Pike(Cap) Moreu and Taalan for less damage, Otherwise, Pike Moreau Chen is a good general hostiles bridge crew.

10% chance of upgrading is the floor to make another attempt.

You need to kill higher tier Trial hostiles.

Again, you need to hit the Q Assessment hostiles and rank up in order to get that done

You will see an assessment trial tag on a hostile when you reach that plateau

Then it will increase your % to level up techs. Surpassing 10% will allow an upgrade attempt

This is the crew and ship setup i'm currently using as an ops 42 to grind level 32 hostils for common splinters. Hopefully useful to somone. Get about 50 kills and 120k splinters per repair with this.

From running a few crews, JL Picard w/ Beverly and Annorax side seat has allowed me to knock out 5-10 hostiles of my same level. Though loot crew is great when punching down.

yeah io tried a few diffren people in the captains chair, but wasn't able to find a better captain that worked out better than just taking Talora

NSEA has such giga shield deflection that i don't need the boost there vs anything i can take on. Like 1/3 of my damage taken is coming from isolytic. it's why a amxed Pelia and maxed WoK Joachim below decks would be so strong. It would cut my incoming by 2/9ths or about 22%, throw on a maxed annorax and i could probably get to a 1/3 reduction in incoming damage.

Pilum with loot crew works really well if you drop down to lower levels. I grind the event in the 50s and then use pilum in the 40s to get currency for the store.

Most of us use 5/7/9, not sure what you're asking for specifically. Those give the best loot, IMHO.

Seems like an overinvestment into mitigation when there is research that can already boost it enough so that one bridge officer slot is enough. Eclipse have stats that make them vulnerable to a Tyler strategy: Bev Tyler Nero/Georgiou.

If your team's capable of collaboration, then only one person needs to bring burn, and that'll open up that third bridge slot for a wealth of options like: Gwen, Khan, Sisko, or Chakotay.

Depends how strong your Stella is and how high your mScore is. Most of my players use Sisko Kirk Spock for Eclipse armada's only. We used to need to run the Tyler strat for the e45's but not anymore... this was back when we had lower mScore's / Stella power around ~3-4M I guess.

Some officers I noticed:
Chang's way too low, his ability is quite strong and he's being used on the bridge for G7 players.
PB is too far away from PM, when the former is useable in armadas.
Epic borgs/orion should be higher, useful in P1ATA because they have a lot more stats to contribute than others.
Saavik probably has a spot next to chapel.
Dchok is not a mining officer, wasting him if he's being used there.
Tyler has proven himself very useful throughout the years, especially with underpowered specialty ships like the reliant (same reason Wesley is useful there as captain).

I think you're missing out. Picard Bev is a solid foundation from which to build a pve or armada crew. The unlock is so cheap too.

PB Gwen is a popular crew to use for the Revenant loop. It works with armadas and IEs too. Since it has mitigation on the bridge, you may not need to invest too much into that for your lower deck so it can be used for some BDA effects.

Picard unlock should be obtained from the TP store, it's a direct purchase and relatively cheap. Most of Bev should probably come from recruit tokens, it's not direct, but it's not using up valuable officer depot tokens instead. Her position is valuable as a synergy to Picard, it's not just her OA you want, so I wouldn't worry about pushing her hard to high tier as the regular pace is fine.

Officer depot tokens could supply both, but you should be using those instead on maxing out Torres and eventually Kim/Neelix. Those BDAs are phenomenal for pve.

Ender's tier list has her essentially right. To me, Torres is the one-above-all, and the most important officer in the game.

Dchok will boost mining capability, same as quark. But their effects are a fraction of what is available. The goodies in that early loop aren't plentiful enough to hyper-focus on mining, you will run out of common/uc need and deplete the need to mine much at all. Rare and epic needs will last longer, but the latter is done by the SS, and supplying rare's going to be pretty much the same whether you use him or not.

Seems to be a little worse, losing the Shred seems more impactful than the extra Critical damage. And My mitigation is high enough so T'pring doesn't add much either.

Blue's Clues on Outposts:

• Once the Outpost is captured, you can no longer use any bonuses/abilities that require you to apply them to the ships. You can still apply boosts before the Outpost attack initiates, however.
• Fortify and Max Fortify, which auto-apply, will work at any time. Use how you will, but keep in mind you will kill 3-4 attackers at most per boost due to timers.
• Retaliation Attackers (RAs) will only target one ship per battle. All of your ships will fire upon the RA.
• At around 30/72 Remaining, the RAs will increase in level and give higher rewards.
• The ship type of the RAs is random (or patterned), and the ship type affects which of your ships is attacked. RAs will always target first by Advantage (Battleship hit explorer over battleship), then Neutral (Battleship hits battleship before interceptor), and then Disadvantage (Battleship hits biggest interceptor because you only have interceptors).
• The luck/chance of this ship type will impact the potential success of your 72 RA run. I got lucky and my last several RAs were explorers that allowed my Cube to survive until the end on a sliver of health.
• Cardassian (Apex Barrier) and Borg (Iso Dmg) Outposts behave differently. I have heard Cardis are easier, but I will wait to hear more before I reach consesus. I imagine different outpost types would warrant different styles of crewing.

Bonus development is a key factor in making your ships stronger to handle the content you're facing. There are countless ways to get more performance, but they all take time. Managing crew is the fastest way to change an outcome, but you must have already developed the officers a little to get the best out of it. For crewing against these, just remember that you'll generally want abilities that can affect any target regardless of what it is.

You can farm the former from lower level battleships. Around level 20ish, they start dropping 3 star parts so I'd aim for hostiles in the teens.
Farming speedups isn't really a thing in this game until much later, for a different kind. Attempting before then is going to be difficult, and extremely grindy. Lat can be used for speedups in the earlier parts of the game and development of lat income becomes an important part of your progression. Events usually supply it until around 23, when you can build a dvor and start to mine raw lat to convert into the regular kind.

There are often codes for social media or advertising pushes, but they are temporary and specifically for tracking that campaign so I don't keep track of those. The other codes are released in the patch notes every month for the arc, and only valid for a week. The latest have decayed, so the next one will come in Jan.

I've been enjoying SNW crews like SNW Pike with SNW Tpring (mitigation) & SNW Scotty (Transogen Iso dmg) and combine that with WOK Carol below deck for 0 hull dmg after the first couple shots per round.

Using Suder is actually one of the cheezes at ops 69 and possibly some other levels. His officer skill still works well and you overcome the apex barrier spike with burning and by going 100 rounds.

We will see. Solid crew for Lootmada, no doubt. However, the Solomada meta will be an interwoven web of punch up/punch down woven with Solomada Task milestones per ops woven with the maverick research allowing for punch up woven with current progress on officers new and old, etc. etc.

So Loot Crew is fine for the direct loot of the solomada, but which solomada lvl you do has multiple implications

So a tier 3 USS Excelsior fighting 54's which doesn't seem a problem, goes to Tier 4.. and when doing so changes the fighter requirements to level 56, and forces a warp range of 320 (level 55's) and 355 for level 56's.. I can't even touch a 55 now as prior my 54's didn't seem an issue. I understand at level 57 ops you can get a research bonus, but even so that seems like a massive leap in power am I going crazy? The last reward of the "Causality: Fracture Point" chain rewards one of each (Command, Science and Engineering) of the badges.

The general ways are from minor commendations you earn from the discovery pull in the support refinery, which are spent in each of the FKR faction shop, this ones pretty slow short of having a maxed disco. The next is from Apex Outlaw storein the event store section, requires coins you get from the apex outlaw weekly event, this yields two random badges a week. The next is from the monthly story arc battlepass, which you get 1 of each badge. The final reoccuring event that provides them is from the Alliance tournament store, I don't have the math in front of me to estimate how many you can get from this, but maxing your points each day can yield quite a few badges. The bulk of my recent officer promoties have come from this source. It does generaly take an 60+ ops account to complete the higher end tasks and get the event specific coins, people will likely argue with this assessment, but in order to complete the highest grade tasks without spending for each day, its very difficult sub 60 ops.

Outside of those methods, theirs random events that come along that provide badges, however their not on a specific schedule.

Also to save you the time, yes theirs more command officers, and their generaly "better" or have lynchpin abilities, so most mid-range to even higher end accounts will have a bulk of officers waiting to be promoted, and the majority will be command officers.

Or the GS-31. My cube and GS-31 are about the same power level and both fire all 4 weapons first round. In addition, at least in the Details about the ship, the GS-31 does quite a bit more damage. Is the full maxed voyager crew worth investing into for general hostile use? Do the Hbs, burn, and moral all stack with each other or is it a one at a time if they even proc type deals?

Yes, they are worth it. They stack all and also with Starpath research.
You will need them for general PvE.

The 3 Voyager Below Deck effects crew (Kim, Torres, Nelix) are perhaps the 3 best hostile crew out there, with the possible exception of WOK Joachim. Those 4 officers do more than any other for hostile hunting, and work against just about everything except for PvP.

They also work against armadas so help punching up against both group and solos.

Peace in our time was a mission option all the way back at 16-20.
You were ae to choose between the 3 main factions. Depending on what you chose, you were able to either do the federation mission in lorillia, Romulan in kaikara (correct me if I'm wrong) and klingon in Krah'Nor
