Scoring mechanic for this Turf Wars is awful. Everyone in our alliance who engaged is fed up with the event already. Setting up a week of getting killed by the top power on the server with no ability to fight back (and to get negative points in the process) is terrible design and NOT fun

Yep, I can see the complaints already. Bad enough TC defenses are already lagged out in some 1v1 scenarios, now you've opened things up to anyone to attack pvp only, so really what is the gain here? PvP lag sucks. Just another money grab to try and keep people engaged for a whole week in something that again is just way too time consuming. But I guess if you have nothing else going on in real life, have at it.

The biggest issue is that PVP itself is wildly unbalanced, so of course the pvp event will be wildly unbalanced.

Yes, of course, you can clearly see that the same way as to earn money has gotten into trouble.
But the really stupid thing is that you can do it yourself with money. This level that player can never reach. Some time ago I calculated for fun what you would have to spend to be able to keep up with the G5 ships of choice. And it's beyond the budget of a small country.

So on the one hand they want unlimited money, but then they don't even give the players the opportunity to buy success. So playing your way there is impossible because you don't have enough lifetime. It is also not possible to buy yourself there if you are not the king of a small state.

I do not understand that. Basically. It is clear to me that I can never reach my goal. New ships are coming all the time. But it is hardly possible to expand the ones you already have.
For a single cannon, for my flagship, I would have to buy 4 packs at $100 each. And that's just ONE component. And I'm only talking about a G3 ship. I've made a virtue out of necessity and don't really take the game seriously anymore. They will create new faster than you can get there. It's a perpetual hamster wheel. And the way is the goal, they want to give the impression that you can only buy success, but that's not really true. I now think that many of the so-called whales are actually Annimatauers. They should make others believe that they could also buy it. But as I said, the hamster wheel keeps turning.

They had it change yesterday of stfc.space by 18:30 yesterday. When I upgraded D&E guns to lvl 41. Last week they were in the 200k range, and last night, (after one person scored 200k for a gun, I got 6k for mine. That was a hot fix, and scopy didn’t say anything to anyone. Just saw Ultimate DJ's ping on his channel on all the scoring issues etc , what the hell is going on? It literally feels like EVERY arc released now is a absolute disaster, with unannounced changes or nerfs (defense platforms), reckless level bracketting, and events that just don't work (scoring).

For spending players like me, it is incredibly frustrating that we all seem to be conditioned to accept such poor quality these days.

Any event that requires a tier up on a specialty ship is a joke. Specialty parts aren't sourced fast enough in game with the current RNJesus. I wasn't able to complete the events with the D'vor, nor will I be able to in the Expand SMS event. The scarc is level locked every other tier. I used most of my refined isogen in the previous days event on research. I'm level 35 so can't use the U.S.S. Cheerios, and the Discovery I had been saving up to tier up, but the RNGods screwed me by a thousand components. These events should be base on how much specialty parts you spend, not by exclusively by tier-ing up and building. And why does resin count for points but not spore components or duranium... those ships are part of the event.

I just found my first grip about this Arc. You can score points hitting bases over and over in the hunter killer event. I just watched someone protected my level 50+ players hit a base over and over. There is no way that should had ever happened. Just ruined that event for everyone especially since it's a cross server event.

Massively pointless turf war event... never seen defense so empty of players. On our server only our big players are turning up.

Our tactics have fallen to in defense only our level 48 players go rest don't even play.

I don't wish to downplay anyone's complaints, but really, when has PvP ever worked properly in this game? The banding is awful at the best of times, and PvP events have failed every single time Scopely tries them, because the banding is awful at the best of times. When there isn't any, it's even worse.

PvP just sucks in this game, because it sucks. Make it into an event, and it sucks even more. It's just crap and always has been. Whenever I see a PvP event I just decide I'm going to avoid it, grab a few points if I can, but generally just give it a miss.

Of course, if they were to introduce some kind of sensible banding, the paying players will have very few opponents indeed and they won't be able to participate in any meaningful way, and that's a problem with the pay to play system.

It is possible they could have made adjustments very early on in the game, but I guess the mighty dollar won over that idea pretty quickly and now it's just way too late.

It doesn't matter what they do, now. It can't be fixed. PvP will always be garbage because it's a rubbish system. Just don't participate and they will never run it again.

I've looked on stfc.space and a l35 player gets 339uc ore from the elite battle pass, a l39 only 280. I've said as much to customer support, but being ignored again.

did you compare crystal and gas in lvl 35 vs 36-39 bracket to see if one of those are much higher instead

scopely shifts the supported mats in events based on ones ops

L35 gets 427 uc ore from free battle pass, l39 gets 436. For gas and crystal l39 gets sightly more in both elite and free. Uc ore is the only outlier. So everything points to a mistake, a mistake customer services are saying don't exist.

Yes, I finished 1-5 and was able to get the reward for that. Then, nothing for 6-10.
