Scopely have successfully conditioned the player base lol, kinda nuts really, you even get players telling you how complicated programming is when a major bug is found, and I'm like but yeah, but you do know Scopely are a games company valued at 5.4 BILLION 😅

In my experience if this game, Scopely charge more and provide less quality than other large mobile software houses, Supercell is notably better for example, and aren't afraid to balance meta's

There is grindable, and unrealistically grindable. Just T9 of the Dvor is 255K parts. If you average 900 or so a day with a double refine (which is a fairly consistent number), that's almost a year for just parts for 1 tier I'm OK with putting in a grind, but without a change to the parts refinery, you can't really grind the parts you need.

I'm just spitballing here....From what it seemed like, scopely put the amalgam in to encourage raiding (which was dead on older servers). I don't think they intended smaller players taking advantage of being able to fast track with the monstrous supply of resources they could get from larger players in their alliance so they put a bandaid on the issue with the treasury. Pretty much what they do when it benefits the players. But there are also other factors here.

1. Smaller players don't exactly pay their bills so why get upset at their progression. It will help keeping things populated

2. There is a benefit to this building with the added buffs and pathways to particles

None of the events require "a huge amount of hostiles to kill".
It's generally tuned to be around 50-60 for the appropriate level of hostile for your ops level.
And yes, they have done this in the past. Because those events are supposed to drive active engagement.

I genuinely have NEVER used "auto grinding" to finish an event. Not once.
And I never had the urge to do so.

Ok so a point of view from a 45 year old with a family of five. The changes are killing the game for many of us. We do not want to live in the game at all times. The autokill function of the tails helps us send off ships while we are at work to get some scoring done, then it only takes a small amount of time when we get home to play a little and spend the rest of the time with the family. By removing that you are taking time from our family.
The other thing is the taxing. Why on earth would you punish players for hunting bigger players? That is dumb. You keep crushing the smaller players, you wont have any left. and alliances should be allowed to help each other without penalties. The alliance should be able to hit a big player and let the smaller players feed. to help them grow.
Cant you tell there is already so much handicap in this game? you mine a ton and they give crap for exchange rates for uncommon and rare... they lock and block you at every turn. this is probably one of the most if not the most anti-player game i have ever seen. It pushed me far enough to go back to playing Elite Dangerous.
On top of that this game is soooo Money Hungry. they are crazy 99$ packs no pc or console game costs half that much with thousands of hours of in game extras and updates. Look at No Man's Sky, Elite Dangerous, Etc.... the dev's need to rethink how they treat the players. If they do things right this game could last very long and bring them much over the years, or they can treat us like crap and end up with everyone leaving.

Now we have maps that are mostly empty. with a few maps overcrowded cause everyone's focused on resource hording cause no one is ever able to refine enough. trit, lat, dil, Tribbles,Mycellium are absolutley uselss cause no one can mine enough fo that stuff to matter. g1-g5 Gas,Crystal,Ore is the lifeblood of the game but to get what u need to grow u have to buy. Lat refining is now split into 2 parts to sell a different ship. Unless you buy the meridian you will never mine enough iso to matter.
Eclipse and Borg are needed for certain officers and Research but require multiple trips. to fix it buy more packs.
Instead of fixing the Franklin the came out with the franklin A(also freesha) now they both have a 2 tiered sytem when they easily could of just fixed it.
lets not forget Data.... its needed for a bunch of things cause they want people to mine it. and its the worst.
f2P players are expected to keep ahead of all of this and do whatever they can for their alliance.

Hardest part is finding a damn node because of our stupid server ROE. 4* nodes are like gold dust and people are clogging them up with Grush so they can spend all day on them without going OPC.

Retaliation - A player may retaliate against another player once (1 for 1) for making a dirty hit that violates the ROE. Retaliation must be taken by the player or they may enlist alliance support. It must take place within 1 hour from the time the attack occurred. Attack logs will serve as records that retaliation hits are properly executed.

The way the event is setup makes it easy to collude if you have a Feesha. Pick a friend in another alliance, and trade off hits in the PvP system.... easy way to top the SLB, and I'm not sure how the event could be designed to avoid it.

So let's count the number of mistakes in todays SLB event:

1. No mention that the PvP is Feesha v Feesha only
2. Steal / Lose in "Lucrative System" (a term already used elsewhere) instead of simply calling it the "Event PvP" system)
3. Click on that and it tells you the score for "Super Raw Latinum" Seized/Lost - a currency that doesn't exist in the game
4. The system used for lvl 41 players is Ash-tor, a system you can only get a Fesha to by using warp-range officers on the Disco and summoning it there (unless you've spent a fortune on packs to upgrade your Feesha).

That's FOUR mistakes in a single event. Did the QA department all resign at the same time or something?

afk grinding is an abuse by itself, we can be lucky enough they tolerated it and didn't "fixed" it so far so we can xp our super weak ships aka dvor or botany bay without going through most of the trouble manually

Faction hunts can be done in about 10-15 minutes per faction. Most people spend more time in game thinking about what do do next than it can take someone to do a faction hunt.

The scoring of fh has poor scaling for going against harder ships, so more value can be extracted from multi-ship setups vs weaker targets than from pmc the hardest stuff you can find.

1300 pts is what I do, that's easy with 4 ships, and going against 43s is a bad move since you only get to use a couple strong crews. Go vs easier stuff and you can use speed crews

Fed space alone has like 5-6 good systems in the 36 to 39 lvl, klingon has mempa for high level, and beta penthe for sheer spawn rate and red density.

Yeah, I use alpha onias as I’m rom rep primary, but it is still a tad slower than the other two

Take a look at the Cross-server leaderboards, it shows the server number for each player (well, it shows your server’s player names at least)
