Got the Tokens out of the event store for romu/klingo event today, but if I want to start one of them, I seem to have no tokens.... 5hrs now without. SUPPORT doesn't react at all, several times restart, even tried it on Laptop and Smartphone. grml 😡😡

It’s always been described vaguely yeah. But the main way to score is officer xp unless you’re on the final promotion for a few rares or epic officers.

It literally says Level and Promote your officers. It doesn’t say ANYTHING about recruiting Officer, or getting recruit tokens. Cos recruit tokens does nothing until you use them.

And it kind of is vague. “Spend tokens on officers” is misleading because the credits you use to promote officers are always called credits, not tokens. Tokens are the recruit tokens you buy officer chests with. And it’s not unreasonable to think that they provided an alternate scoring mechanic for opening recruit chests with the tokens if you didn’t have enough officers to level up.

The Riker clue is an objectively poor clue. ||I mean, I was PRETTY sure it was Armadas, just from the "3, 1 is green"||... but there's several Rikers, and only one of them has a captain maneuver that affects Armadas, and it's the one the fewest people will HAVE.

Set one up and get one of your guys to manage it. Then send out links to all alliance Admirals. Encourage them to link their commodores and premiers into the server.

Since the amalgam is a G3 ship the ship xp isn't going to be a big factor in the slb anyway. If you went all the way from level 2-45 it would score less than 2 components. They should get it working though.

Depends are you just basing that from the banner?? Cos alb points show totals from your alliance, and the individual points don’t always show the bonus points

This is a stupid event, quite honestly. Easy to cheese. Have one person drop their lower level alt - oops, I mean little brother - into a system, surround the base with people who can hit it, and fire away. Ok, I'm looking for some advice on what to focus on in the event store. I've gotten all of the ship bps that I need, and the cloak for my Bortas. I'm pretty far away from any of the officers up for grabs save martok and Gowron. I'll probably grab the crusher officer packs. However I've got about 200k credit. The 'big' spending items I'm considering are the meridian refit (I'm an admiral, we have territory) and the t5 charged nanoprobes pack (32k nano probes, I'm already t3, but this will save me close to a month of grinding). the only other things that look appealing are the syndicate xp and the unc ore (stupid bortas).

The one time a currency was reused was for the borg arc when it came back during absolution and then as a mini-arc. But there's little reason to believe duality would come back as something similar

The strategy for this event is to kill as many low level reds as you can. Loot doesn't matter for those.

Even then, very few players will hit the loot cap in a 24 hour period.

This only impacts a tiny percentage of players. And for those impacted, it's mostly a non-issue.

And at the end of the day, we would all do well to remember that not everyone will like every event... and that's OK.

As I’ve said before above, this latest mechanic for a head to head event was one of the better ones…. Having strong ships helped to dominate spawn points, but activity mattered as well as realtas could streak around…..tactics and organization helped…..and most importantly, bots were a total liability ( as they were not smart enough to run from enemy ships) and did not lead to any alliance winning through volume of hostile hitting bots. This was mainly driven by the two system arena and the scoring mechanic. Not often I say this, but well done scopely. Win or loose to me this was a big step up in making an event fair ( and advantageous) to the spenders, but rewarding activity, and most importantly, taking bots out of the game.

That's been the function for months now. You'll need to attack in order to get pts for captain-kill mechanics.

There's no reason to believe this is the last we'll ever see of ATA BP events so it's best to plan for them. ATA has to be attended to regularly, even if there is no event, so that completion times of your current active set are spread out over the coming few days. I do every blue rare+ mission that comes by, and many of the rainbow rare ones in addition to all the lower level ones with good rewards. Done correctly, I'll have a steady stream of ATA missions that'll complete during any day of the season bp.

A trick you might find useful is to let the mission complete and timer run down, but don't collect it. The mission slot would reset at the next refresh with a new mission and you'll still be able to collect the finished one whenever you want. That allows stacking of rewards to be collected during bp events and trivializes the difficulty you're facing now.
