My officers are all strong... Most have maxed shards ... Like transporter patterns/dust, I have no officers left to spent it on... All faction recruit pulls have maxed officer shards, so I only get officer XP ... many officers are maxed. So that + research = a solid ship

Prime Officers? you can scrap the Common Ships at 34 to get the 4* to pay for prime research

Personally, I don’t want a new Arc. Replace them Arc with much needed clean-up. 1. Introduce a way to get skins in the game, so that players that acquired some shards can complete the acquisition. 2. Do something to improve the ridiculous generator situation. They don’t provide any real benefit. 3. Introduce a way to acquire officers that are not currently available (same situation as the skins). 4. Introduce a way to turn off the annoying “Pop-Up banner notifications”

Community managers and people who “speak” for the players need to push this. Period. Sorry my expectations are high. I simply don’t want another event that introduces new content without a path forward with existing content.

not the TP themselves, but yes, the ORIGINAL officer shard you got, so for example, if your faction officers are maxed, and you pull a kirk officer shard, you get the points for the epic officer, and then the shard is converted to tp.

The officer XP from FH pays for domination that's it, the officer xp from FH between arcs is more or less exactly the same as the amount needed to complete domination in the battlepass

I haven't tested every event, but just to clarify it's typically an issue of participation instead of joining.
If you are in an alliance and contribute 0 points towards an alliance event then, in my experience at least, you should be able to leave and join another alliance to contribute to theirs instead. The action of earning points locks you in to an event.
The complications though are that you may not get rewards for already completed alliance milestones when changing alliance, and past experience has been that if you return to an alliance that you had earned points for you will still be excluded from the rewards (been a while since I tried that though).

as long as you are not in an alliance before an event starts and you are solo, you can join any alliance and participate after the event starts

The biggest consideration to enjoyment at Ops Level 40+ is montly spending budget. Have a chat to some level 40+ players on your server and see what they spend, and work out what you are comfortable with

I think the higher ops you get the more you find you're competing with big spenders for anything. It certainly puts a downer on any new arc knowing that the only interesting stuff will be available via auctions, and all the auctions will be dominated by big spenders.

Yeah - the officer and skin auctions i've not really missed, but it does dramatically cut down on the number of events worth doing in the arc when you can look at each SLB, see the spender's path, see your grinding effort will be wasted, and take the night off instead. Sounds a good plan. I say to all players on this game, it is a fun game, but addictive and a money drain at high ops levels. I suggest that everyone who plays the game do a check on the last 6 months of Google Play/Apple Store receipts to see what their average spend is. I’m still doing lots of 39 buildings. The stellar steel ops 40 gives helps with that. Leaderboards I seldom do, and it’s a bit less uncommon 3* mats. But the time saved on raiding..

No, anything but top 2 is not a great spot anymore.
They tweak the auctions in a way that you either win and get it in one go or have to "place high" 3+ times to get it.
You can see that right now:

1. and 2. get all needed 50 prints.
   3-10 get 20!! Not 25. 20!!!
   11-50 get just 5!

So if you place 3. you only have 20 bps. That means next time around if you "just" place 3. again you will STILL not have enough prints. And even then you still need to aim for top 10 again since top 50 wont give you the last 10 but rather just 5 again...
This is absolute GARBAGE design. It shows extreme and disgusting disregard for the players to make it this way!

But hey let's keep pretending that those bloodsuckers care about their player base.

Skins/Refits/Projectiles are still new and sold as premium content so only about 1% of each server will be able acquire them, they aren't game changing at the moment it's all about the hype, I ignore premium content because I know being a low level spender I have no chance of getting them they will be freely sourced at a later date

The bracket rewards for the projectile event are terrible. So 3rd-7th place get less then half of the shards so they would have to place at least three more times just to unlock it. Unless they push to 1st or 2nd which makes the precious effort a huge waste.

Well the whales functions outside of the vast majority of the player base. Problem with rare directives is that they are hard to come by (except for recently and Scopely gave a lot to pretty much all alliances), and for those who don't buy armada packs it is much better to use it on normal armadas 🙂

The second Easter egg following the numbers is where I got a bit lost I thought the password referred to Antares but then noticed the first 2 digits in the second set of numbers doesn't fit there aren't 33 days in any month 😂
the system number the first 3 sets of digits refers to the Horizon LCARS 67 was only used on the Horizon and the Horizon call number is 1008 but then the rest doesn't make sense
