They are basically saying players between 35 and 38 get to see the event but can't do it. There is no way for a player between these levels to be useful in a swarm armada or complete them. 5 man armada and t2 or lower Franklin only at these levels screws you over.

Click on the box for "spend armada directives". They're listed as rare Armada directives and epic Armada directives, which is the name of the directives for regular Armadas; exchange directives have a different name.

It would of been good if scopely gave us some notification about the new Franklin A and the recommendation to build it (level 35 shipyard) as my ops is at lvl35 but my shipyard at lvl33 i don't think I build the new Franklin till after this arc. This event with armadas is one of there dumbest yet. You can only score point on rare and epic armadas and there is not enough in the ecosystem to do this. It would be possible if exchange space counted, but it doesn't. Players able to reach and do the swarm armadas can score easily but anyone else is screwed. They should have allowed exchange or just uncommon for this. Not impressed with scopely.... But that is the norm I guess.

I LIKE (?!?!) The new franklin. The warp speed is absurd and needs to be buffed. But the increased warp range is great, the dailies reward is great, and that balances with the longer/most costly repairs. But this event is beyond brutal. I've completed rep event PURELY via repairs.

Yes that's normal. You have to fight off the other alliances to make sure your's is the one that can get it. Two people from the same alliance cannot activate same post but other alliances can try to steal. This is normal gameplay, I promise you, not a glitch

34 rare armadas takes 8.5 hours if you have to run them yourself. Not counting repairs if you can find them. It's really not possible for lower levels. And 34 is you running all and winning. Otherwise it's 100 rares

ROE protects armadas on our server too but you were claiming it was a glitch. It's bad etiquette unless you are at war with that alliance but my point is NOT a glitch. Intended mechanic. End of conversation. The issue here is that the event requires rare armadas and there aren't enough to go around so it's a balancing issue

The "Impress Me" Milestone event is clearly ops based. Subsequently, this "milestone" event punishes anyone who is recently ops 35 but doesn't have the prerequisites completed to build shipyard 35, scrapyard 35, scrap the original Franklin, then build the Franklin A. Even if I rush all the prerequisites: R&D, the ancillary, the shipyard, the scrapyard 33-35, and build the Franklin A, I will have used nearly all my speed-ups on 1 single event. And I can't even alliance hop now to reduce that burden. How do you propose to rectify this in some manner that I and many others wish to complete the Milestone event and earn the much needed and desired Jaylah shards?

This event is ridiculous. There is no way I can finish unless I spend all day. No one has enough rare starts, for players under 35, there are no rare armadas except eclipse. No one has enough rare eclipse starts. There are no available epic eclipse armadas or I would start those. There are no regular armadas anywhere. People over 35 have spent all morning hitting swarm armadas and are about 1/5 of the way done. People need to be able to do something other than play this game. Are events intended to take 12 hours to finish? I'm pretty much over this. The amount of money we pour into this game and they can't even give us the means necessary to complete what should be a fun event.

So in summary for Impress me event:
Under 35.
You are forced to only do rare or epic rare aramadas, which are already impossible to find.
(You can finish eclipse armadas, but you'll have to do 100 of these)
Most likely you'll have to waste them on small rare armadas, which is a waste of directives.
35 and over.
Assuming you can build the Franklin A, which some cant do for such reasons as:
Not having the rss to finish buildings required, not having speedups to finish the ridiculously lomlng build, or not having a max Franklin because swarms were never something they liked doing.
You can then do swarm armadas, which are too difficult for most players under 40 and basically just waste your directives to get points for starting.

All of the above assuming you have 1000 rare directives to even do them, which many don't keep extra of

you just get less jaylah shards... which will impede your frankie progress a lot... but if you are under level 23 i doubt that is very important to you

@dim pike , Ok it may not be tied too another event persay but when the event swarm war requires you to complete milestones to score points. You will also never finish that one if u can finish impress me... OR you spend $100 on event tickets. So how I see it is. They made the event unfinishable by a large number of players. Then offer a $100 pack that gives you tickets to complete optional events and score in Swarm War that way.

BUT the only way to have extra tickets is to buy the $100 package. Last story arc they metered the tickets out so you could finish 1 event per day. At that rate you will either have to just skip whole events or you spend $100.. The whole objective is to get you to spend the $100. If 100 people buy the pack but say 50 people quit the game over the hassles all they see is the 100 people that bought the pack.

That's not what it says. It does not say "doubles", it says "+1 shot" that reads as an extra shot per round, not doubling.

I would assume it to be 1 extra shot per weapon, but given that the Franklin-A fires 2 shots per weapon this also would not be double.

They have to increase the spawn rate of these armadas. Feels pretty crappy to have a nice event, the directives to do it, but can't find Armadas to actually run.

The original event listed rare Armada directives and epic armada directives, these are the strict names of the regular directives.

for some reason, when I see this inscription, I always read it as an "ordinary" armada, and not an eclipse armada or any other. If you carefully read the pre-release of the events for April, then for the armada of the eclipse there will be a separate event from April 15th.

Its about the Money.. Always...... Their response will say, you can always Buy the Required Resources for said event, in the Scopley Store..... We all know this... Scopley is more interested in money, than our hardwork. This is their mindset. IF We all want things to drastically change... We all should get together and not Buy anything from Scopley for a week or 2 or 3. and see how things change... but it takes us all to Stop buying from them... then the Rewards will become more from events, maybe make it a bit softer also..... But we need to stick together and stop buying from them... in all reality, it is a Greed mindset because they know, people will buy into a online game... the rewards have gotten worse in these P2W packs. alot worse since last year. I agree. Two or three weeks is nowhere near enough though.. A few months is satisfactory and will suffice.

The game needs to be playable by free to play players. Not to the point where we have to spend 10 hours a day playing just to reach some milestone which gives us little to no resources compared to what we need for big ship, base, and research upgrades.

Scopely needs new management and new developers.. Maybe just the management because they are the people who are making all of these terrible decisions and coming up with these lame pointless time consuming events.

true. but since this game is addictive, and i also know, i am mega guilty into ''investing'' into this game.. 2 or 3 weeks would be a struggle for me not to buy, so i could only imagine how others who buy would try not to....

It's not that hard really.. Just remove your card from the google play store/app store and just play the game
