I will say it’s not hard to pick two factions to grind for and finish in the top ten of two of them. You’re not missing out on the creds, mats, tokens, and xp you would on a normal faction hunt. Just some holiday tokens

No mods to help over the weekends and constant tags and messages they would soon get fed up and start listening. All the time mods are carrying on and helping the managers (and yes players) scopely will carry on as they are and not actually fix anything.

The holiday faction slb event description is misleading. It states “earn 1 faction rep = earn 1 event point”. It should also state that losing faction rep means you’re losing event points.

This Holiday events are not the greatest as it is a leadership board and primarily focuses on those who spend. As well what is not as interesting as before and don't earn much from the events to make it worth wild, not like last year's Trek the Halls. We got more from that then this years's, especially during a pandemic. Need the system fixed so we can play more and making what we have worth wild before adding anything else and make it more fair to everyone. 😫 👎

Personally the main issue with the currencies that I have, is that they confuse others. And that they fail to communicate properly as a result - this is partially due to Scopely’s less than stellar translation skills

I’m not sure lat is the best option, but perhaps a new (😉) central currency indeed. Would be a tonne of work to balance. Easy to implement fixes could also be to group it in categories (like they sometimes try but then fail to implement properly) and greatly improve UI — the faction stores with the left column tabs is best. All items are still way too big though

So even though the faction events don't say that you lose points for scoring with other factions... You lose points by scoring with the other factions. All the events say is earn points and get credits. I've been doing them all and I'm now at 0 with one.

Hey. I think I found a small oversight in the holiday event. I have been participating in events area arch to get sarcophagus. I paid for battle pass. I am 5 blueprints short. In the holiday store I can only buy 6 blueprints. Can we get a 1 blueprints option so I don’t have to wast my holiday rewards on an in needed blueprint? I sent a ticket to customer service as well. I should have gotten all the bps needed. But scopely coders messed up big time. The pack for the sarco prints said 5 chests. I needed 5 to get the 13 prints needed to reach 80... got 2 double packs (4 chests) and then the sarco bp option vanished. That was a waste of my holiday credits that I paid for.

I think the logical answer will be no. It has been advertised as being available over the coming months, you should have no expectations of getting it in the month of release without paying for it. Presumably more blueprints will be available next battlepass, though whether it will be part of the battlepass, separate events running in tandem (like the discovery tokens), or just added to the next event store, or other will need to be seen 🤔

I might try using it once I get it.. but for me it would specifically be about dislodging whale and dolphin ships from capture points, otherwise yeah I'd just use my regular ships; much less work than trying to navigate your way there with a discovery and then summon the sarcophagus to avoid being sniped 🙄 but it will have its place I think.

Personally at my Operations Level 30 considering I have yet to finish Territory Challenger Research having that Ship wouldn't be any good. But I did an immense grind to come short and empty handed. And like Bobby Brown would say ( It's my Prerogative ) 😁

Actually I could have gotten it for free. I was 13bps away...the holiday packs said limit 5, and each pack gave 3 bps... I got 2 double pulls (4) chests, and then the packs went away. Their coding, or something was wrong and I could not get my last chest. Now I am 1 bp away from the ship because scopely messed up.

If you placed 1-10th or so in the 1 event they ran that gave out lots of sarco bps, you would have gotten the ship for free

@tall tapir pretty sure that's not free.. maybe if you bought the elite rewards unlock and got good results in all of the leaderboards (which typically goes to people who have more money to spend upgrading their ships..).
And also the limits usually refer to number blueprints, which getting 6 would then make the limit of 5 and pack removed.

Good point. By free I meant people didn't need to spend the $300 to get the prints and pack packs in the game store.

I did purchase other packs and one of them is the elite battle pass. It is one of the more cost effective packs when compared to others. But thats enough about my purse.

As for the 5 prints v 5 pulls. If that were the case, they would have needed to be single bp pulls not bundles of 3 per chest pull. Their coding or whatever, is still flawed, even if that were the case. And if so, they should have used more clarity.

From your logic, my pulling of the 2 chest double pulls means scopely gave me more than what I deserved from the pulls. I got 12bps. Needed 14* (sorry my number was off by 1). That's 7 more bps than the 5 thats posted on the limit if they were talking single bps v 5 chest pulls. There should have been 15bps up for grabs from the Sarco pack in the holiday store. I did not receive those.

So if my idea is bad, is your opinion. Still boils down to i didnt get what was offered.
