The takeover frequency(1wk) and the fact that those resources are scattered across the area makes it likely you will miss at least a few days of being able to get all three particles types, if your alliance can even take on a takeover on the zones that have the missing ones

@granite wadi My complaint would be that if that mission is specifically for OPs 25+, then they should have an equal mission for OPs 24 and below as the 40 mission keys are available in the free Battle Pass rewards. So as it stands, anyone OPs 24 and below cannot complete "The Least of Me" event since we are unable to complete the Airiam's Missions.

I dont think there is a problem with giving a reward that requires a specific level, you will get there and get to play it then. Lots of the content is ops gated - but that should be made clear and shouldnt be part of another event that requires the mission completion to win it.

The issue is ops 24 and below could see the mission then it vanished when they added the along came a spider mission so it looks like an error and not intended to be gated, I would send a ticket in game never know if enough people complain they may compensate for the error

Event overload doesnt exist. No event is mandatory, no one forces you to do all events. If you feel tired, just don’t do this event or that event. I did not do yesterday’s disco event, cause I hate that specific event. Did I die because I did not finish that event? Nope, go figure.

Takeover happens once a week. You can pay to challenge for it if you want to fight the current owner.

in what way is diplomacy NOT involved in territory captures? weaker alliances enlist the help of stornger alliances to help them win, stronger alliances band together against the one big whale allaince, etc.
the game is old enough that grudges have existed for some time. All territory captures go one of two ways:

  1. one entire half of the server supports one side of the capture while another half the server supports the other side. Giant lagfest melee.
  2. no one contests the capture.
    Whales show up to every single capture regardless of whether there's contest because they just want to go around killing small ships.

The big challenge starting to hit the alliances on our server is the sheer cost of paying for territory bonuses week in week out. The top alliances are already chopping their 3* count to 1 at most to cut down on the pain. The thumbnail calculation is that it's a real money cost to maintain just one even if a full alliance refines their max.
Additionally particle tourism is now a thing... leave you alliance for 8 hours in 48 to make sure you have them all.

I'm 100% behind the idea that 'stealing' resources should count, so OPC like other events should count, but I take it further. I don't thing mining should be exclusive, but rather protected cargo in the controlled territory should be. Maybe they need to re-tool the NS as an active mining raider, zero protected cargo, but can mine in uncontrolled territories. Bring PvP and risk into the design.

I'm going to disagree that the point is to make us fight over territories. The purpose for territories was to encourage and reward PvP. Fighting over territories is currently the only tool they have to encourage the PvP

I'm 26 and run epics from time to time. the secret is choose the biggest rare you can take down with the help of some big guns, like 12M or 16M. Once you get enough for an epic, go fo the biggest too. A 400K kumari, 3M enterprise, and 1M sally can take down a 12M rare with the right crew

In the military we used the term, “Charlie Foxtrot”, to describe a planned event or training that turned out to be a total screwup. A good example is the so called territory capture. Once you realize that multiple alliances join forces to defeat a smaller alliance. For example, when 5 to 6 of the largest alliances on a server join together to whip out a smaller alliance with the desire of eliminating that alliance. I wonder how many people like myself that spend $1000.00 a month plus to leave the game or those that free play and work hard to build that get discouraged and leave the game. How many opportunities for future paying players will Scopley loose considering that retention is your main source of income. To boil it down, your territory challenge is a big ,”Charlie Foxtrot”.

The braked is not 35-39 its 33-39. And this makes a hughe difference ! In mining rate, Warp Range a.s.o.
So from all 200-400 players 12 players will get rewarded with dvor parts ... it’s Hilarious.

Yes that is official, you can only take zones that have a direct warp path connection to existing ones.
Or if you don't have any zones you can take any Tier 1 Zone.

Very disappointed Scopley, what gives making the Airiams Day part 1 - 5 missioins only available to level 25 and above????? You gave the Rogue missions out so we can finish them when we level up. Well of course. It's practically sanctioned bullying out there. Now I do PVP myself, because at some point you just have to, but there is no chance for someone with a weaker ship to come out on top. So generally, the lower power players are always going to suffer for the amusement of the stronger players. They are complaining because they aren't having any fun.

I mentioned to scopely that they need to do the following. 1. Have a PvP simulator on your base so you can test crew/ship setups. With all the new crew, it is too difficult to test their skills in the limited amount of pvp time. 2. For true PvP Events they should have a designated system for certain level ships 26, 28, 32, 34, jelly, monster. Give a solo award AND a good alliance award. If you bring a bigger ship to the PvP arena than what is allowed for that space and hit another ship, you will lose points for your alliance (we have this problem all the time where we go for stella/disco pvp areas and the whales show up with their monster ships. No one gets points, but they don't really care). You can be a higher ops, but you bring a sally to a 28 arena to test your crew.

I think it's okay to have nice things if you pay, but we all shouldn't pretend that PVP in this game has any skill involved and only one person is going to have any fun. Real pvp should be fun for the winner and loser.

The announcement said there would be a solo leaderboard for hull damage for each server in addition to the larger all-server event. I was wondering if the solo leaderboard would be all players on a server or if there would be tiers based on level or power. Like, if I’m up against level 40+ players, I might go harder in today’s hull damage event, but if I’m in a tier I might save my hull damage effort for the event that starts tomorrow.

My 1750 daily 3* refines give more than a bonus refine of 24k. The 4* refinery makes the 3* one look like Christmas. They don't give unc parts in the bonus. We've had nothing but issues since they introduced avatars, I don't use them. So I couldn't care less. I'll just carry on with my own goals and wait until Scopely make these things worth paying attention to. I'm not holding my breath.

A week is easy. I went a month without doing dailies before without a problem. Just so. darn. repetitive. after a while. If the rewards were worth it, it makes it worth doing. The last cross server event, if I had won it - no chance - but if I had, I could have built one building and got quarter of a ship module. The effort reward imbalance is so wide it's just not worth doing half the events they create. It is like being asked to swim the length of Nile, against the current, while being offered a thimble of water and a peanut at the end of it. Just sh.ite 💩

Because the rewards are always average to useless. I'll be surprised if they aren't. I do the events that offer decent rewards and are achievable in a reasonable time frame and effort and ignore the rest. I don't have time to play 24/7 like some, so yes, it takes me longer to get what I need. I don't have time to even do dailies most of the time. It's way out grown a mobile game. It's needs too much time and effort already.

@north olive rule of thumb is, as long as you have not contributed to the event it gets upgraded if your ops increases. If you already scored in the event it's locked.

I have to say, I've tried to keep a positive mind here.. but the back half of this battlepass has been wretched.

  • where's Apex? We never saw this event series in November at all.
  • Faction Hunt? Your by far most popular even sequence has been MIA.
  • did you just forget about the Discovery? We get an ocassional "oh yeah, here's a way to get a few spore drive components" events...
  • for the 90% of the server that can't get all 3 new research components from the dull "mine 100 resources" freebie, you just expect them to pony up $100USD?
