No...it does what it says once the research is complete....some primes require otherwise unobtainable materials (4* etc) these can only be done through purchases. Some of the "lesser" primes can be done through regular grinding those purchases are entirely optional

Well all purchases are optional but if you want certain primes then they have to be bought (currently)

@carmine lily Kind of like the chat switch over glitch. You have one ship highlighted pick a spot in system and it switches to another ship just as you hit send and wrong ship goes. Causes alot of lost g3 nodes.

230K vakh won't kill a 30 swarm but it will take it down to 10-20% hull so you can finish it with a 2nd ship

#

best crew will likely be Kumak captain with Nero and T'laan, unless your bonuses are almost maxed then you might consider cadet Uhura as captain instead

Kirk gives extra damage, Nero gives extra damage, I suppose they're both worth a try, at least on my cent the results are similar

They come out pretty similar for me too when eyeballing it, but I don't have much luck with Kumak as captain even if I'm 20-30% from bonus cap. Never seems to gain much damage even in 24 round fights

It's not discrimination. IT was given because a signifcant portion of the US population are in danger from this storm and could lose power, which means they wouldn't be able to play while the rest of the world is unaffected and able to play. It seems more than fair that those potentially unable to play be given fair compensation or protection which is what happened.

mining event rewards are sad joke, unfortunately. On other hand if you dont care about events and jusut play whatever you do it pops out some minor change.

Also, raiding leaderboards are broken. I mean, that should be "bracketed" so let's say level 20-24 bracket, level 24-28 bracket, level 28-32 bracket etc

There is no way for weaker players to even think about getting piece of pie. I was raiding today for like solid 4 hours, used a TON of speed ups, and yeah. Im 3rd becouse I cannot break into bigger targets if I find any. I tried and after like 10 kumaries I gave it up.

There are no game mechanics to discourage win trading (except perhaps not giving out great rewards for PvP events, like this one). Every single PvP event with decent rewards is traded on our server, and I would not expect anything else.

I don't normally do triples. Except during special Refine periods. I am blessed with a deserted server with only 60+ Active players so mining nodes are open. With only 2 alliances and an active CoC (Also know as an RoE) mining is a breeze.

Have other people noticed the bonus refinery was broken this event? These are the potential outputs I see, but many many tines I ended up getting a total of 22 uncommon for refining two batches. Which should not even be possible based on the math.

2 items:

Usually events start immediately after another ends. That doesn't seem to be happening this time. The Domination event is still going but nothing has replaced Call to Arms. Intentional?? Don't mind a break but not used to getting one. Domination Solo is easy to max ATM. Waiting on best opportunity.
Upcoming events are supposed to be visible as part of update. Not seeing them. Are Others?

My $0.03 cents on recent events is:

Difficulty is in a sweet spot for me (not too easy, not too ripping-out of hair difficult)
I love the mix of rewards (and now seeing prime reward per level) & varying token values
A change to the bonus factory cool-down would be nice; if you miss the start you’re pretty much screwed on max potential
It would be nice to get some specific recruit shards more often alternating w/ tokens

Domination event should not be a special event but one that carries on a basis similar to the 12hr Officer/Station/Research events, the leaderboard should also be bracketed like these events. You can add better events into the calendar. The likes of Act of War or Separatist, these events of are more attractive to play.

I think the augment events are pretty much over, the only thing they gave was officer shards so most of the people that participated in those are probably maxed out on those officers now. remember all these things are planned to please the whales, they're not interested in doing content that doesn't offer them anything useful.

I dunno - you need a LOT of credits to upgrade those officers (and a lot of shards) so augment space should still be pretty important for people

Haven't seen a lvl 30+ in augment space in a long time so i'm just assuming they got everything they needed to get.

It's swarm a-bit-of-sunday-but-mostly-monday
