I knew there was something going on with scoring, if that is the exact problem then it makes sense why I have already spent 1300 bells and not finished this event. By all rights 1300 bells is 52 trials, which should give me a score of 6500 on the SLB and yet somehow I have not even scored 3400 points to finish the SMS portion.

If Scopely wants us players to keep progressing to higher Ops levels in this game, taking away the Battle Pass Overflow event, making some events (especially the MACO events) more difficult to complete for the respective Ops level of each player, giving us even fewer F2P rewards for completing those events, unnecessarily level locking certain kinds of new content, and asking for even more money from us players for unreasonably high priced premium content, these are NOT incentives for getting players to increase their in-game progress.

To be fair there are mechanisms in the game now which can vastly speed up the climb to G5. But the caveat is the time spent on all of the 100 day+ loops, different faction rep grinds and rewards over the years from events and SLBs.

Day 1 of any new loop is bad. You think it's impossible to play it f2p, it will take longer than the 100 days to get even started etc. But usually in the second month things settle and you can play it.
Also, don't listen to Scopely 😅 Because yes, they will throw curveballs but often you will manage much better than expected. Play the way you enjoy it, there is no fomo.

after looking at the schedule I've realized my mistake, the Solo Advanced Curriculum Conqueror Borg Heroic SMS that ran last week only needed 5 to complete, this is the Conqueror Borg Heroic SMS that ran at the start of the month, and I remember complaining at that time as well about needing to do 10 while only being able to save 7 starts

Heroic (this arc certainly) = waste an inordinate amount of time grinding (which is counter intuitive to quality of life) or spend an insane amount of money - in a financial crisis. Scopely really have misread its larger player base. Those who have a lot of disposable income, will be ‘heroic’, the rest of us will become disillusioned even quicker and leave. Unlikely, it’s pretty old content now, everyone has it f2p, you can get parts everywhere, you can cheat the scoring by scrapping and rebuilding it multiple times.
There’s no money in it to include it…
Events are often just designed to make ppl buy packs for FOMO.
If anything, it would be due for an archive at some point, if Scopely were actually sticking to their promises in that regard.

Sure, but Scopely said the event was to celebrate Memorial Day and they have shown that they can recognize that people find things unpalatable. I think the whole event feels weird to try connecting a holiday honoring fallen soldiers to an event where you kill a bunch of hostiles. If they want to do a day of remembrance thing like this, make it about Wolf 359 or something. It would feel less gross.

What a total farce Incursion has become. It might be a Saturday but I'm busy throughout the day and I still have to make dinner. So by the time I can actually take part in Incursion, it's going to be over. Whoever the low IQ person at Scopely that thought it would be a good idea to cut it down to 12hrs needs a size twelve boot up there rear end without the benefit of lube. Common sense would say if you're going to run it for 12 hours, then run it from 12 noon to 12 midnight. At least that way the maximum amount of players would have a chance to participate for at least a few hours. I swear there's some mentally deficient person at Scopely that's making these decisions that just doesn't have a lick of common sense.

My guess is you’re claiming one or more of the federation dailies. The amount of faction you gain or lose from doing the dailies scales with your faction level. Because your federation rep is much higher than the others, even if you complete all 3, you will lose a lot of Klingon and romulan faction.

Having a longer event with a longer Battle Pass is fine if we still had the Battle Pass overflow. It's pretty demotivating to complete a Battle Pass event for days and get nothing for it.

In my opinion the latest changes are all about creating more revenue :

• got rid of choice rewards
• made officer token a lotterie
• replaced cota with a fake cota (much lower rewards)
• strangle officer sourcing
• inventing a ridiculous cadre refinery

New Battle passes (with mystic on top) fit very nicely with that strategy.

The pulls are almost impossible to grind given the ridiculous amounts needed for a single pull which prevents upgrading the building which is needed to actually fight the hostiles. Look to Aggregation where the pulls available are tied to building level.

Given that it's still there either: (a) it already expired and it's just there because something is being built and it will disappear when the build finishes, or (b) it's actually 27 days, and you just have to remember when you unlocked it.

It will be very interesting to see what the Voyage across the void alternate hostile killing requirements are since most of the time recently it's been 1 point per and a SMS that can't be reached like that. Becauase all the new events are focussed on spending armada tokens or similar and many of the ones that got pulled didn't require spending to finish them.

Yay. Duo waves are going from 4 levels to 8. I've only ever done 1 duo wave, and the 70s plus team mate was the only reason we completed it, as I died. This is just what we need, even more challenges in a broken game.

Mental. If I assume I buy the new ship and can use it to kill the new hostiles of my level (which wont happen - 71) then that is 99 points per kill. 518,000 points for top level. Which I make as 5236 hostiles. Dont buy anything and the first milestone is 4712 hostiles at my level. Just for one milestone. For rewards that are practically worthless even if I complete the event. No thanks.

The IA should be released the same day the ship is. Level the IA building as you tier the ship, gaining the bonuses as you move up. When you max the ship, you should be able to master the IA. It not too radical an idea ....

They just barely put Reliant and Squall parts in the Rewards Store and they’re still making money off the newer ships so why would they be in a rush to IA them? It’s not dead content like the others are.
