Just read the notes for the new AT adjustments and I think although they have added some bits to the store the whole sigma rerolls and legendary tasks/credits are going to make the whole event almost entirely spend if you want any progress at all.

the whales lost the edge to show off. if you are in a highly active alliance with players who know how to f2p all the 10k task everyday, everyone basically scores the same. the whale alliances lose their edge. now with legendary tasks that give 20k points, it's time to show off your wallet. this game is about vanity at the end of the day

This one is a real swing and a miss. And because its such a small leaderboard with small rewards, that makes the whole event series a swing and a miss.

I really have nothing new to add to the conversation. We are all pretty used to the events requiring lofty but achievable goals to really get good rewards. Thats fine, some people plan things out and flood an SLB when they have a good stockpile and they are rewaded for their strategic thinking. But an event that requires you to spend currency that most of the player base cannot even get thir hands on is simply going to tick people off. I try to be positive because I really love this game, but man, they are making it harder and harder!

The stockpile needed for a g7 unc is many, many months of sigma credits needed. A crappy sms reward isn’t going to blow up the long term plan.

Its just a lazy, lazy event. Something with a high amount of armadas, outposts, sigma fleet commander credits, etc. could’ve still required spending to finish, but would’ve moved the needle enough to be worth it to some spenders. This is just slop.

In the time I have been playing, many of the Heroic events did not require spend, it was just difficult or partially by chance that it did not.

It's kinda not possible require spend for things like ship parts, buildings, and research, the design of the game doesn't really allow for that.

If you're missing loot from armdas, you need to contact support. As for scoring, the UI isn't updating in real time, but the back end is counting.

The previous version had a big flaw: our server has a traitor who threw incursions by intentionally giving up RSS to the other server, quads worth of it. He can't do that anymore with the scoring change. There was no way to stop him before.

I have, in fact, read all the announcements about scoring. What I, and many others, are trying to point out is that a ‘delay’ in the score showing up in your UI does not explain the data unless that ‘delay’ is longer than the incursion duration.

Need a honeypot scoring metric to encourage general PvP instances. Raiding as a point component brings tons of attention to a system, but the raid scoring was over the top compared to PvP.

A PvE component is fine for the pacifist type. But since the incursions is intended to be a PvP event, makes sense to weight those things heavier scoring than a PvE outlet.

Yes. But when you attack a station and after that you raid the damages points have been counted. I usually use the amalgam just because it is a canonical behavior but I got always in mind that I don't actually need those resources and this is a psychological bottleneck. After 8/10 amalgam attacks I usually quit and look for another station.

Did you never look at the scoring metric for the Server v. Server portion of the event? It was 1 pt for any regular rss raided. But when one could get billions or even trillions per amalgam pull, and it’s repeatable every 5 seconds, points add up.

Once a base is smashed and can be raided, there is no damage accrued.

Let’s say one is pvping ships and you’re just really running through maxed rotarrans. Those might have 7bil combined SHP and HHP.

A g4 player could sneak out one amalgam pull from a cracked g6 base and leave with +250bil rss scoop.

250bil versus 7bil. Thats the scoring gap. They have to incentivize pvping part being worth the hassle.

So let me see if I got this correct, To scrap a G4 Epic ship takes 2 days 7 Hours but a G5 Epic Ship takes 62 days 19 Hours. This is totally out of control. I have 12 extra G5 Maxed Epics that will take 2 years to Scrap. This scrapping time needs to be greatly reduced. @cosmic steeple So another launch day epic fail, after 20 plus months of this you would think that Scopley might pay attention to the consumers who are paying their wages but no that would require a moderate level of care. This is a list of issues I personally have encountered since incursion last week please forward this to someone with enough clot or competence to fix some of them.

1. Territory capture during incursion failed to award 30k ish worth of points to season event.
2. Game restarts constantly since that giving please check your connection (5 bars of 5g) errors 3 and 6. Clearing this usually requires multiple restarts.
3. Above issue resulted in not being able to complete 2 events Monday because of unplayable game.
4. FKR challenge task rest 90 minutes early yesterday resulting in not receiving the last 2 milestones.
5. Battlepass
6. Lag and still having issue 3 above.
7. TBD because the basic game isn't playable
8. Oh and the amusing note is the cost value on battlepass tiers Scopley admits the 19.99 tier is the best 👌 👍 but if anyone is buying i urge them to seek counseling.

regarding this new loop and its refinery, am i missing something? as ops 69 i need 24k 6*training merits for single pull .... i can only kill several 62 of the new hostiles, for whopping 20 training merits each .... obviously building upgrade should let you kill higher hostiles with better loot, but you cant get more building upgrade mats without the 24k claim, that i cant farm in any reasonable lifetime

is the only way out (by scopely design) to go buy building upgrade pack, or just get cucked on the content completely? 😄

I can kill 1x65 + 2x63 per hull (t11 Ent-E, 60b) for 840 training merits per token.
