Territory pass completely disappeared for my alliance and myself (server 57) - we had defense at 9pm eastern and it’s been gone possibly the entire day (I was off game a lot so I do not know when it disappeared), but that’s really not fair to those that have defense on a Monday when it should end on Tuesday when there’s zero defenses.

Yeah that's an issue. I think this task is a little unfair with the small cap on starts or slow acquisition it can leave you stuck up a creek without a paddle.

So, I'm looking at the makala reward chests. (I'm ops 59.) I can see 5* epic crystal in the tri/crys chest. However the other two options don't have any 5* epic materials, stopping at 5* rare.

The amount of 5* rare is different as well: 172 for crystal, 94 for the others. Is there some criteria I'm missing to get the epic? I'm the same faction rep with everyone, so I don't think it's that. Maybe it's based on your strongest or highest level ship? I currently have a sanctus (interceptor = crystal) and a mow'ga (Klingon = crystal).

Anybody have any insight?

Rewards are based on packs. Specifically building/research packs, that do not use epic material. All rewwards follow this path.

Not really, you only get 100 rare formation armada credits for a 7 day chest. Its par for the course for scopely to drip-feed you stuff that take months to get, so that you will be annoyed enough to spend real cash

Yes. However you also do not need the loot from them until you have building lvl 61 as you cannot refine it before. So you can ignore them until then, and at building 61 you should have enough Hyperthermic Stabilizer to negate their Decay.

I quite appreciate it - as the higher level you are, the worse it was to grind hostiles that would be level appropriate for your ops, when the loop is new and you do not have bonuses or researches or specialty ship tiered up to max to keep up. When it is related to building level, you can choose to take it slow and be able to do what the refinery asks of you, or you can choose to get a pack if you like the rewards from refinery to speed it up. But in both cases you can play the content from day 1.

I see a possibility for the complete opposite - if they do any competitive events that value higher hostiles/loot more, you will practically have no means to participate unless you spend money. If they do any SMS events that value it higher, you will have to grind your behind off with lowly hostiles to finish them - unless you spend money.

I believe we will see SMS events that only ask to kill Aggregation hostile, but not a level appropriate Aggregation hostile to prevent this issue. We may see some heroic / slb events that will score more for higher level hostiles, as those events are created to reward spending, but the general sms events should not be scoring based on hostile level, just on how many you killed.

Yeah from what I understand it was something about the diplomacy system where under the hood (aka in the game but not visible to the player in-game) where there was a scale of 1-10 or 0-10 for all leaders. 10 being the most aggressive and 1 (or 0) being the most peacful. Ghandi had a bug that due to his leader passive ability having a modifier of -1 to that 1-10 or 0-10 range it bugged out and made him the most aggressive civ in the game by far, hence the nuclear memes lol. However the system worked it made ghandi's rating loop around to 255 or something

It’s likely not the programmers (except the bugs), it’s the arc runners aka product owners/ managers. The only possible defense for them I can think of is that they’ve been told to maximize player spending, hence the ridiculous event requirements this year. Month 1, introduce new hostiles and frustrate player base. Month 2, offer a new ship for sale, with the hope that the prior frustration leads to more ships sold

I agree, but my expectations for otherwise are low. It is a 10 part chain that starts there. you only have to pay for that 1 and the others just keep unlocking. It is warping to about 50 different locations and about 40 kills to unlock the system once you start it. And imo, unlocking a system is about the only thing useful you get from holodeck missions anyway

without information from your battle logs there's no way for us to help, I've compared my logs for before and after upgrading research and the buildings and there's no obvious problems, it could just be lucky crits one time and unlucky the next, but you'd have to compare the battle logs to know

Scopely strategy to make $$. Create new problem in part 1 and make it difficult/impossible to achieve new events. Pt 2 introduce a paid way to resolve the problem introduced in pt 1 and make it a long time for f2p resolve it

It’s a repair resend and looking at the sms it’s insane amount of time yet again to do so. 68 op here and two kills 59 hostiles and repairing.. still going to take a lot of time for me.

Well if you take the current loop, I can kill 2 hostiles per hull, the SMS requires you to kill 20hostiles, so it takes 10trips to complete, the heroic can be done as well but that's closer to 120trips

Go to the 59 system with 5 ships, one just to sit there to view and 4 ships pinging in to kill 2 hostiles using different types of loot crews.

Do not use G6 ships, a selection of G4/5 will do.

Depending on your Ops it should be done between 1-2 hours, unless you're Ops 70 and need 24k

So android suffers crashes because of this shading texture bug in unity autobuild.... Was fixed in unity 6.1 and up...
