Pretty stupid event when you have to do rare Hurak Vanguard armadas when there are none whatsoever armadas available in all systems I can reach. I went from level 50-60 all I could find were Epic Armadas.

whenever someone kills a few epics, they have a 50% chance to respawn as a rare. Then you kill the rare, and it will respawn as an epic. Since there are fewer epic tokens out there, your server will very quickly run out of rares. Poor programming.

I'm curious if the developers just really hate people in early G6. I'm at Ops 63, have a tier 4 Minerva and maxed G5 epics. But, none of these ships can scratch the 60 hostiles, never mind the 62s.

Despite this I've completed both stage 1 and 2 killing 58s, but the kills to complete the stages only gave me 11m of the currency with a single chest pull costing 9.5m, which then didnt give me any directives anyway. So guess that's me failing stage 3 regardless...

Not sure why the cost is about 10x higher in early G6 than it is at Ops 60, when odds are, you might have slightly better research but not necessarily a major jump in power to kill harder hostiles.

simple logic would point out that if you have a system that is half rare, half epic, but a 50% chance of respawning as the opposite type, while you have a lower number of epic starts.... would lead to a conclusion that a server will very quickly run out of rares. Scopely has run into this before, MANY times.

1. One work around is the krennim systems, where half the system is charged/half static, so if you kill a static it respawns as a static.
2. A second work around is like you have in Xindi space where some systems spawn only rares, and others spawn only uncommons.
   2 solutions they already have available, and could implement very very easily, and yet... they have not.

The whole event was made with unrealistic checkpoints. In order to get directives for the new armadas you have to grind and do pulls. For me It is taking about 300 kills for a single pull and 820 for a double. Cant do a triple as it takes over 2400 kills (daily limit =2000 and yes, I have a strong ship, great crew and good tech on my ship). All this for a CHANCE to get directives if you can even get rare vanguard to show up. I have been grinding for hours and definitely can’t do enough of the armadas to get to Stage 4. Smh. I am done for this event unless something is fixed. <@&509690795536941056>

At G4 the new mechanic for artifacts is huge since the sourcing of formada directives is such a pain. This will help me progress far quicker. The hostiles, aren’t as stupid hard as the exiles, and the mining isn’t terrible…

My main beefs are:

• officer sourcing sucks / is paywalled
• IMS events and the Stage 3 SMS are insane. G6 players on my server are punching down to 55s for the IEs, and G4 players without a G4 epic seem unable to beat the new IEs
• lack of renewability for mining tokens

Beyond that… I actually feel a lot more positive on the arc than I did a week in to exiles. Exiles has the better overall faction store though…

G6 hitting down to 55 IE is probably due to there not being any rare IE in the higher systems. These new IE are also pretty robust. If you have G6 players hitting down to the lvl55 hostiles.....thats just cuz they suck 🤣🤣🤣

No it’s no easy even in an alliance. I played for hours and hours and will be 40 short. Most require a crazy amount of directives that are limited by game design.

You guys should run a 36 hour event that takes all 36 hours of grinding to complete… but if you win, the glitch where we cannot collect more than 3 chest before the game crashes is fixed. It would be worth a whole lot more than the ROI on this joke of an arc you threw at us.

You can definitely get zero because I got zero on a double pull. I usually don’t complain but not being able to finish a SMS because they can’t spawn the epic entities correctly really frustrating. And if they’re only gonna spawn 45 they should be changing the point scoring for them so the players aren’t getting short changed. I proposed 3 EASY solutions to the rare/epic spawning problem. All 3 currently exist in game, so they should have been easy to introduce. I'm not sure why they didn't go with them.

1. they are only using every second/third system for the vanguard and honorguard spawns. make the 54 system spawn rares, and the 56 system spawn epics. Problem solved. (same at every tier of the vanguard/honorguard) (this solution exists in xindi space).
2. split the system in two either horizontally, or to make it prettier, by radius from center of star (epics in the middle, rares around the rim). This already exists in game, see krennim solos, where the charged/static each spawn in only half the star system.
3. put in an if/then statement, if <5 rares, next spawn is a rare. Already exists in fed/kling/romulan space. If you kill an epic, after a short time out, the next armada will be epic. same with the rares in FKR space.

3 easy solutions. Instead, you completely eliminated the epics that a lot of people needed to reach their SMS goal for stage 3, and have epics in only one level 46 system (good luck getting the points you need for sms 3 from that if you're above ops 45.) Please use one of the above 3 solutions next time this type of event is run.
The error with the way things spawned before is: kill a rare, there's a 50% chance of it spawning again as an epic, 50% as a rare. So, if you kill a few rares, then soon you'll only have epics in system. and since epic starts are harder to find, and epics are harder to kill.... you soon end up with what you had: ONLY EPICS! that is a logical problem, with 3 logical solutions (see above).

Their initial plan was to spawn epics after a rare was eliminated, and then a rare would spawn after an epic was eliminated. Which could have worked, except players have a 15% chance of pulling an epic, and 10% chance of getting no directive at all. This was a blatant, naked attempt to push players to buy packs in order to defeat the epics. When they realized that players were smart enough not to buy those packs, they just turned it off and turned it on again, and only had epics in the 45 system. I think they did that out of spite. "Oh you wanted rares? Here, now all you get are rares."
This event could have worked as it was initially set up if players had a 100% chance of pulling directives, and had a much higher (50% or so) chance of pulling epics.

The Flashpoint Event IMS Stage 3 is ridiculous. On server 125 we have to do 11930 points. We so far made only the first milestone. If we would have 600 players on the server every single player would have to make 20!points.

I pulled three loot chests every day and grinded very hard for hours to do that, but I got so far from the loot exchange 1500 rare directives and 100 epic directives.

We have not even made the first milestone of stage 3 IMS. To complete all the milestones we'd need 17,120. We're at 1175/1713 score for just the first step here on server 33. Practically none of us have motivation to continue since it's clearly pay to win for very little reward.

Maybe the score rolls over to the next Flashpoint, we'll see.

Hit the exchange with triple pulls, plus directives from BattlePass should be easy when you hit equal level entity’s or higher.

I.e if you gonna reduce PTS by 100x then should reduce milestones by 10x but nope by way they reduced mining milestones by 75x only need to mine 771k for server ims.
With miners in 61+ building lvl 12 capable of 1.5m an hour.

No one is completing these events. They used players as guinea pigs and most likely will adjust goals so that something like x% of servers pass next time given the horrible results of playtesting on production.

I would have respected them delaying this thing instead of collectively frustrating everyone and taking cash (not mine) for armada starts while at it. The hostile and armada difficulty on this content was cranked high for whales and assumed everyone that can participate has officers most don’t have.
