Echoing the complaints about the Xindi task. Relatively fresh 39. No NX01, no favor. Still working on tiering up my Enterprise, much less getting a real G4 ship. Can’t even touch the necessary hostiles.

not to flood you with responses, but also look at the battle logs to see what is killing you. Do you make it to the particle beam at the end of round five, or do you need more mitigation, are you critting a lot and doing no damage, that sort of thing

We just added earning Xindi Scraps and Tech Modules as another way of scoring to give more chances of completing the event.

This wave defense sms is so frustrating. Could have had it just barely (because I had full set of 400 solo wave ciphers saved at the beginning of the event), but then the game counted things as hitting the center that I destroyed so I missed out on the wave being counted as completed. Screenshots attached of the battle logs from the wave showing wave 4 leaving only 2 hostiles not logged as destroyed. I received credit for wave 3 completion because the center lost an hp on wave 2 and wave 3...

Given every server has a different definition of ROE, compulsory violation events would be interesting to craft.

My server’s adherence to ROE is such that not even Scopely events that would violate ROE are not given precedence. The server just comes together to complete the event in a way that everyone interested in participating wins. Mandatory PvP? Kill other players & then send ships crewed to die in recompense. If smaller/cheaper ships work … fine by us.

Don’t get me wrong … we’re a feisty group but violating ROE has consequences nobody except the rogues who get tagged as KOS are interested in. Most wars become acts of attrition between alliances until both agree to stop.

I think Saavik has a solid LD ability. I think her usability is variable depending on what your crews look like right now. I'm very morale heavy (take advantage of that G3 Ent ability) and my BLT / Neelix aren't strong enough to justify being on my LDs yet, so not for me.... but eventually she'll be an excellent addition.

nothing that will be worthwhile, their is the weekly one but rewards are rubbish. The only good one is the Wandering Warriors Event, but you dont need much to do them. Your better of upgrading your specility ships but wait till you can do a full tier up first, dont do single upgrades, keep them spare.

I’m ops 65 on a pretty old EU server. Yeah I agree on the direction in terms of making everything available as you progress rather than just having a once only purchase and no unlock path.

The actual hostiles and the pure amount of grind required is silly. These metrics that are off are off every single time. The last arc had silly kill requirements, before that changing the dailies and the month long SLB having an insane target. Mirror taking ages to move through systems, the amount of hulls you’d have to waste on silents when they first came out, the amount of hulls on xindis when they first came out.

It’s great if you have all the time in the world but for all the talk of QOL improvements they go back and add something that needs 50 hulls to complete.

I’m online probably an above average amount of time and I’m struggling to find the time or the desire to go, kill 15 hostiles and then go back again over and over. I can’t imagine how disheartening it is for a more casual player

Your Q&A sessions for these arcs keeps having the dev team highlight how you have certain limits in the game like hostile caps because players are not getting anywhere near them, but then you keep putting in events like this where it's hundreds of kills for just one SMS, right next the the event bucket where you have to kill hundreds upon hundreds of exiles for that event.
