Tuvok is really strong for a below decks in early game pvp before everyone is running good officer setups to inflict a state on you. At least until they add apex barrier piercing it's an absurd amount of defensive

We all got problems - but they need to compensate properly the player who actually played it and most especially the player who paid to play it. In some cases it could be said they have taken money for a service they are failing to provide. Depending on your ops/Alliance Rank in the Tournament you can pretty consistently get a lot of points. Just requires a bit of knowledge about how Tasks work and what you can do at your given level

I would have nothing against some better/more tasks for lower ops. I have a lot of motivated lower ops in my Alliance that would gladly grind all day if it meant they could get more than 5k points at the most per task. If you are around the mid 40s getting 10k tasks that actually reward you with currency AND rerolls is trivial. While every lower one has to either spend money or get shafted in the Tournament store. And they are stuck with low point tasks because the reroll system sucks

Seems to me that the rank based restrictions on items in the terran store need to be removed at this point. This being the second time that arenas have had to be placed on hold indefinitely while work is carried out to try and make it work properly.

This is not the only release with problems, areneas...don't work, tournaments...ok this last one was especially cursed but...they don't work well anyways. Incursions don't work properly and scoring is just a mess in the modern game. Rifts in MU space...don't work properly most of the time. Kri'shara artifact...guess what...doesn't work.

While i appreciate that you guys need to make new content every month to make us pay you all the monies how about keeping the arcs simple and achievable for a couple of months while you divert more resource to fixing stuff.

This Yawn of Heroic arc is overly complex, far too many currencies, there was no need for charged and static, no need for exocomps and more...

If you're failing at something each month and having to take it down how about you put stuff in place that more often than not works... F-K invasions have been mostly reliable for example.

People just aren't taking part with arenas either because they can't....because its always broken, its at an unsuitable time or they just can't get involved due to level or alliance constraints.

So scrap the stupid rank restrictions, peel it back to basics and just give us something simple that works. not everything has to be so complex. If you keep going they way you are Scopley will need to start training camps and colleges just so people know how to play the game.

And for the most part, as was seen with the SLBs for the holiday projectiles, the people who win the SLB’s are usually the ones who buy things outright. I wish they’d do SLB’s like this with two sets of rewards that scale oppositely, or one where (like with exchange madas) you have to opt in.

For the first idea, you’d get fewest artifact shards at rank 1, but most, say, syndicate XP. At bottom rank, you get more artifact shards but less syndicate XP… not a perfect example, but may help the people who most need artifact sourcing get it

How do I say this......The Alliance Tournaments event still blows....and it sucks at the same time. First there is nothing "Alliance" about it except the groups score is counted together for placement. You use all the re rolls and then have to reboot for it to populate, and then to find out that all the task you re rolled...are back anyways. Only spenders' tasks are worth it while the rest of them....just are not good. Its not a fun event to keep up with either. You come out with a new prime or pack and we get reminded about it every time we log in for weeks. But I have to constantly be in AC reminding my alliance that it is live. Last point it....its just not a fun and engaging mechanic. Heres to screaming into the void.....

You don't need to restart. Waiting a few minutes often works, but if it gets stuck there, close the section and open it again.

No! I really wish people would stop saying that. The best way for them to figure out what's not working is for it to be load tested, and it's obvious that whatever their test environment is, it doesn't stress the system enough to catch a lot of these issues. What they need to do is look seriously at what's not working while it's running, then get a solution out for the next iteration, and so on. Iterative change will be far better for the players than taking away a fantastic feature that's simply a little unstable. Look at what's happened with Arena. They took it away for a month to work on it, then it came back worse than it was before!

I just reviewed the announcements. They skipped in late October prep but sent out a comp chest. They had them in November. The December incursion was during a bunch of holiday events so I can’t tell for sure. So maybe they skipped the last one. But there’s reference to incursion prep events for the previous two.

You’re right there’s a variety of prep events and past communication has been vague. So is today the prep xslb? Or is today unrelated and there is another “prep” one next week? Will there be other events? It’s not correct that we haven’t had any prep events for months. But I agree it’s been inconsistent. Hence my original question.

The current IGN links to an FAQ that still lists the prep events. Even though it’s linked there today it looks old so not sure what to believe.
