Its likely tied to daily tasks. So if you completed daily tasks and claimed all the Daily Goal chests before this new event started then the game can't register your 'login'
At least I assume thats how its working

Yes they count for the event. And unless you're maxed rep and have unlimited credits why wouldn't you farm in MU, it's the most efficient way to farm rep other than just buying Rep packs.

Should give it a shot. The lvl60 FKR hostile give about the same rep as the lvl55 MU traders. But if you're farming lvl60 reg hostiles you can probably do the 58 MU traders which give a lot more rep (more than double what 60 FKR give)

The 58 and 60 mu surveys are a lot bigger than fkr 60s. You need a g5 ship, preferably a g5 rare to start grinding them in quantity.

They give broken parts as loot, faction credits and speedups among other things in chests, and rep for the three factions.

You can't possibly have 260 milestone points already. The ones in your screenshot total 60. Day 1 has a max of 280 milestone points, and that includes all 5 daily logins.

@cosmic steeple I will preface this by saying thank you. I believe this came from a good place just to give us players a chance to earn some extra stuff. With that said, this event is completely tone deaf. As players, we've been relaying to Scopely for the last year and change that there's been too much grind to enjoy the game anymore and they introduce an event that requires daily additional grinding of another 500 hostiles of which about 400 of them are an additional grind that most of us don't do normally. Do better.

While I agree with the sentiment around incursions, luckily we have a whole week to get the day 1 milestones done. I just hope they fix the available points or lower the final milestone, because currently it is not mathematically possible to achieve 2240 points (by adding day 1 points plus the previews for days 2-5).

great question, the event is based on relative availability, so whether you started your event at reset yesterday, or, today everyone has an equal opportunity to complete the objectives to 7-days from starting the event.

You could make it so that the heroics just reach the max faster so you can skip other tasks, so that all non heroic tasks add up to the max total so f2p can grind it all out

The whole event needs to be designed in a way that F2P can finish all tasks.
Spending money should be a bonus. And one that enough people did in the past to progress further or unlock stuff faster.

It looks like this event start time issue is built into each day of the event. So it’s not even like a loot box that resets in 22 hours. This issue is perpetuated for five days. Anyone who didn’t happen to open the event the very first minute will now be at a disadvantage for almost a week for anything that is a group activity. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before and I have no idea why they would do that now, especially after beta testing it.

they carry over, but you can only carry enough for a single pull

it has essentially a month long cooldown

so you can save em if you don't like the officer selection, just make sure to use them otherwise any new ones earned will be lsot

it was limited intentionally, you can't unlock the projectile without buying BP

Scopely....if you don't want to give me an officer/attempt at an officer for free then please don't do incompletable events. Heroic/quantum mat spends are a slap in the face. I went through every 4* and 5* mat that I owned over 2 full ops levels and didn't hit tier 2 on rewards list.

Just run the SLB and be done with it.

We have no chance of that. No one is there to change it. Not that they would since they only care about milking as much cash from whales as they can. Even the whales are saying this is an insane task with how the directives work

Spend your trit, spend your G* mats in quantity when they're not even a spend event up to go with it even if you wanted to. Certainly continuing to shape up like all other recent scopley "improvements" to help you grind less by not being able to play without the cash store.

How come everything has been counted from day 1 of the event except sigma repairs? I would have easily completed it from the repairs from the incursions yesterday but it shows as zero today whilst every other task is completed for day 4!

Mine counted. Might need to reboot. There also may be a weird internal clock where some objectives aren't unlocked until the time of the day when you first checked. Have one alliance mate who won't even be able to see Day 4 for another 3h

It's 1 point per 1 trit, at least on most it says you get 10 points for every 10 trit, so it's 1 point for 1 trit. 56 ops in my allianced had 40b trit to spend for top milestone
