The NSEA is a loop specific ship and not designed for pvp but, in this case, the mirror loop.
You may wish to take a faction ship instead.
The banding of a 49 against a 57 is another issue point entirely, I agree.

It was a "fun" matchup. One 56, 58 and 64 against my team of a 49 and two 56s.

Then it stopped giving directives halfway through.

I can create a 42-56 team but in 3 matches I played at least one player ops 57 or above

FI a team is all G5, the they should ONLY be matched with another all g5 team. that's matchmaking 101. if someone decides to form a mixed team (g5 and g6) well, then thats their fault. but this matchmaking is aweful

the repair time period of 2 mins is too long over a total combat time of 10 mins. It takes forever to come back in the arena when you're out of speed ups. A shorter time would be more appropriate

100% agree there, which makes it difficult for 70s to find a group, but that's on scopely to fix. IF they had listened to me 10 months ago when I was shown this feature, matchmaking wouldn't be an issue.

Each arena season should be "here are the 6 ships availabe to use, here are the 6 FT and here are teh 50 crew. You can mix and match as desired, but can only use each once"

Event 10 minutes long repair 2 minutes which is 1/5 event time. All ships dead down to 1 ship every 2 minutes so your event is over and you just watch. Repair should be no more then 30 seconds.

Well at this point there is so much to do in game I can't keep up as it is. I am busy at work all day and can only do arena for couple hours in evening. First hard for me to get in squad as not many higher ops players need to be on together, and then always against a lvl 70 player on other side when we don't even have a lvl 70...forget about my alliance but not one on our whole server. This is a how much time I got to put into arena, plus tie up all my ships doing it versus rewards. And it don't add up when so much other stuff in game to do as is that give me far beter rewards versus the time and effort I put in. As the arenas are set up at present...I not doing them

People below Level 50 get stomped in Arena. It should limit to within 5 levels of player that starts it. Not 5 above and 5 below which is Ten Levels Differnence and is Unfair to one team

Arena feedback, and I'll try to keep it civil through my frustration and anger:
1: having it on Mining Monday is still a really bad decision. Half my alliance doesn't want to take part because it interrupts MM. Even with the reduced team size, it's difficult to find a team in this dumb range. (65) I'm about to quit trying on this event completely. I'm totally done for the night.
2: On the few occasions that I've found a team, I'm running into ridiculous combat results that just shouldn't be possible. Epic G5s beating much larger G6s that are crewed properly. The only common thread that I've noticed so far is that the winners all have pumped up Tantalus Fields. If it's that kind of P2W, then I'm also done with it.

Yea by their current "matchmaking" this shouldn't have happened at all. Seems the pool was dry and it put you with first available instead.

All 3 of the opposing team players are in bronze 1 and 2 of your players are in silver tier, including you, so that may have something to do with it. It attempted to pair you down, you were just unlucky and got some beefy up n comers

You have to max that Delay. Dont use crews that increase shiled mitigation like Janeway or SNW Pike as Xidni ignores your shield. Get the delay favor and the crit floor favor too. These will help, it will get eaiser.

As much isolytic damage as you can get, do not crit until you get the critical floor favor (no hugh/odo/ent E troi below or crit officers on the bridge), use combat exos… also, use your ship with the highest hull health because shield doesn’t matter. If you have a Monaveen and it has more hull than your Kelvin, use that.

I prefer Toli over Dane. I know that impulse is used in so many places, but there's a lot of it available now at my level of the game. A little more would help, but it eats a BDA slot I don't really have to spare.

In theory (didn't work in practice though for some reason), you can 0 out an armadas mitigation Stat in very few rounds meaning a significant amount more dmg would being done to the actual armada.

In theory you can also PB/PM Toli to massive increase his effectiveness and potentially 0 out an armadas mitigation stats in 2 or 3 rounds.

Yeah, honestly it’s the most ridiculous thing I have seen yet. I just have to say that the situation created by this is a really trash thing to do to the servers that you’re trying to keep alive. It’s completely unacceptable and shows a lack of communication and coordination, even between the CCs. It also illustrates the disconnect that scopely has from the playerbase. If you can’t understand why servers would be upset about this, then you probably shouldn’t be working where you are.

It IS fixable - change the brackets, so keep 60’s and 70’s cordoned off. There is SUCH a jump between levels in the 50’s that even a 55 against a 59 is tough. A 60 and above is cruel.

There aren’t many in APAC full stop, as a region, and some of those seem to be accidental APACs and ex-beta players.

That doesn’t mean that it is without penalty, and I have said a couple of times that I’m not sure that penalty is reasonably adjusted, but you can complete everything that came up by losing.

Just so you know I have something like 60 G5 Tokens and I have only ever been in there about 12 times in 5-6Months thats 3 ships at a time so 4 times. So basically it's not for me that I am saying it I am saying it because of so many ppl doing the mining don't want to waste their Tokens and I would say a lot of them don't Pvp anyway. But if you did it on Tuesday what events are there none that I can think of.

Numerous reports from my alliance on 114 of arenas not being playable. Too much lag game freeze issue e,t.c for it to be possible to play them. It's a shame that a update to fix something seems to have broken the game in more subtle ways. Waves for example were unplayable last night

It’s pretty ridiculous how the rank alters the whole formula.

Some of the weighting is off, for sure, but the thing people are going to have to get used to is if they weight it on ops then your PvP teams are going to thoroughly rinse your PvE teams in combat, and if they weight it on ops you’re going to have to deal with the matches where the high ops that haven’t participated as much are working their way up the tree.
