The only other 2 loot officers that works on armada are geordi (useless on 99% of armadas), and ent Picard (useless on 100% of armadas). so no, she's clearly useful addition for many players. and all the gnashing of teeth about gwen can easily be solved by just putting her in the incusion xslb that'll run next weekend. they've literally had a spend recruit event every single weekend for the last few months i think.

She's not better than gwen, but if you skipped the 2nd run (in order to build a stronger stockpile for the 3rd), you might be disappointed when the plans change and you lose access to an officer you wanted. Gwen has f2p drip sourcing already, there's nothing for dajash outside of events.

I need some clarification on the chimera armadas. I just ran three: destroyed, partial, destroyed. I got the same "Survival Chest" from all three, with the same amount (13k) each time. The only thing that differed was the actual loot drop, and that was less than 1k difference.

I thought there was supposed to be greater rewards for killing them?

Right, there are separate events tracking all those metrics. But I would swear I heard/read that the chest you're supposed to get for an actual victory (destroying the chimera) was supposed to be better than the chest for a partial victory (both sides survive ten rounds).

T4 Vorcha, currently rank 4 in regional slb. Don't have any primes besides the ones that can be obtained f2p. Used cerri and titan buff. Used 5/11, JW and Khan with t4 Torres BD hence why no Lorca on the bridge. Killed chimera 56 in 2 rounds. Vorcha around 200m. Can swap JW for something else if anyone have suggestion as I am killing chimera to fast

Lucky! It probably depends on devices too. Most of the “iOS” reports have been on older or lower memory devices. My iPad only started to suffer some of the same issues more recently as it’s now pushing the limits of its free memory. Heck, doing other things now causes STFC to get shutdown which it never used to do.

I have an iPad that’s only approaching 2 years old and I’ve been experiencing problems for a while now. Support has claimed that they are aware of the issues and have received multiple complaints from other players. They have admitted it is their issue not my device and claim it’s a priority and they are working on it. My problem is that I don’t believe that, I feel they are prioritizing new items and arcs, that are compounding the issues and are not making a valid effort to fix the memory issues that are causing the constant crashing and lag issues.

Apple devices tend to be more conservative in their specs i find, but at least you know something will run. Where as Android have a wider range of specs, which makes it hit or miss if something will run well or not.

Yeah, on my old iPad support said it was the device causing the issues. I will admit when I broke down and got a new iPad the performance improved. But as I said above support this time is claiming it’s on Scopely’s side and they claim it’s a “priority”. I don’t believe them, just trying to placate us to continue playing a broken game.

Some months ago i asked what who reported "iOS/iPad issues" what they were using, because at the time i had absolutely no client side issues, turned out it seems most likely because my iPad Air has 8GB, whilst those with problems were using iPads, with 4GB.

Yeah, I’ve heard that Unity is part of the problem, doesn’t play well with iOS. There’s things that they could do regarding the leaks, but it would require them investing money and time and probably not releasing new content for a period of time, maybe an arc or two. They aren’t willing to sacrifice the spending for new items and events so they are just hoping to keep the spending base going a little longer. I get annoyed with some of the useless new stuff like the silly graphics we get when claiming rewards, like really not necessary to add useless stuff like that.

Scopely help desk told me that I missed TWO events! I PLAY THIS GAME DAILY, multiple times a day I log in. I completed every single daily event…they’re telling me that, I missed two events!!!!

While This month did not feature a new loop or grind released they dedicated the time they would have used to handle issues with said loop (if there were any) to work on the game. This month has features them dedicating time to fixing 2 of the recurring features that haven't been seen in a long time (war room and incursion). Dedicating time to revamping alliance tournaments after the various bugs and complaints of the first run, and repairing whatever went wrong with invasions in its first attempt this month. I could be wrong but that's a first in scopely dedication to fixing broken features, 1 of those fixes has worked (invasions ran smooth this time). Time will tell if the other 3 features will show the efforts of their work. Yes there are still problems with the game, yes there are still problems with customer service and other none-game play aspects to the game but If the fixes work then I'd say this would be a successful month and an indication that attempts are being made to improve the game. The officers released may not be useful to you personally but their are plenty who they can certainly be useful for.

They are telling me the same thing except in my case they are saying I missed a "Hostile hunt" event that ran parallel with the "weapon select" events that I completed that also required you to kill hostiles to complete. Hmmm....how does that happen I wonder....maybe your system didn't score 1 perhaps? Considering there is a plethora of players who have complained about the same thing happening I would say Scopely needs an in depth review on this one.

anyone know what's up with the lostile hirogen ams scoring? i got 12.7k points for 1 level 48 hirogen then hit another 48 got 700 points, then zero for others, Scoring is all over the place.

Variations in scoring is due to it showing other members of your alliance kills.

It's 300 per lost, 400 per borg probe, 500 per hirogen

and 100 per regular hostile

Haha the special hostiles tasks are amazing. It expects you to kill swarms, borg nanoprobes etc. but you get a penalty if your level is deemed to be too high. So either 1600 kills or not doable for high level players.
Sigma tasks are gone too.
Other 10k tasks are all pay-only.

Also, before you select any Kill (Insert Hostile Here) task, make sure that your OPS level is not above the maximum level hostile of that type. If it is, you will have to kill a bajillion of them to finish the task. Need to select Hostiles that can be 2 or 3 levels above your ops to make these realistic.

Here’s a smattering I’ve seen and whether there is a ftp path:

1. fusion rod acquisition- Not ftp

2. 225k Syndicate - FTP only if you have a lot of multiphasics sitting around (which means one has previously spent), the Invasion Store is available and one can turn in lots of the chimera loot, or one has more Field Rations than has been given out so far.

3. get 6k unc exborg - FTP yes via nx01/common opps chip turn in. Able to supplement with trading down rare ex Borg for uncs (personally can confirm)

4. spend unc g6 - Yes, if you’re in g6 economy

5. spend 110k protomatter. Yes, there are sources ftp to get that amount in shorter order. Might be an issue to find places to spend it.

It only gives 15% of a 10k task and unless you can punch up on Xindi, Hirogen, Swarms, Gorn, Borg or Texas class it ain't worth the time investment. Only punching up on Gorn and Texas class are realistic as the rest are gated by warp or in Swarm 's case it only goes up to lvl 50 hostiles

Well the tasks are 1600 hostile "pts". equal level based on ops is 5 pts/kill, +1 lvl is 8pts, +2 is 13pts, and +3 is 21pts. Also, I believe that the Hirogen one specifically says elites AKA need Voyager

It’s not a visual glitch then most fleet commander skills are broken or not working right now.
Tested them individually all 5 and unseated them, there isn’t even a real pattern of what works or not. It’s individual.
For Lorca most stuff doesn’t work, like repairs , hull and shield, officer stats , forbidden tech etc
Building , research and ship efficiencies are at least “displayed” , I don’t dare clicking on some expensive upgrades now to see what I get really charged.
Janeway is also broken, ft cost efficiencies don’t work, but hull and shield buffs apply, repair efficiency broken as well.
Kirk , hull and shield buff work, “interestingly” officer stats wise only def works, health not, both impuls and warp range work.
Sloan broken as well, no hull and shield buffs apply, no base weapon damage, luckily iso damage buff applies, neither repair speed nor efficiency, FT efficiency doesn’t work, warp speed buff works though.

Can’t check on most other in-combat related stats, loot, mining, mitigation or piercing. But I would be surprised if they all work so, thanks with the tournament it seems most stuff got broken….

They should just let us pick what we want from the entire task list, and have a cooldown on the high end tasks. For example, once a task is selected, it can't be selected by anyone else from the alliance until an hour after completion by the current task holder. The same player can't repeat a specific task within the same tournament day (as measured by the daily task board refresh).

No/lower cooldown for lower-value tasks.

Just get rid of the stupid reroll mechanic, this is worse than watching painted grass grow dry.

I thought that your masters had listened to the customers and changed it but I was wrong, grinding 1600 hostiles at one point per hostile is a slap in the face, the people in my alliance who spent money got a decent amount of currency to spend in tournament store. I understand and sympathize with many of your points, but I also see some players engaging with the event in a self-sabotaging way. We were supposed to take the tasks that were good for us, and let others take the ones that were good for them.

All of the kill tasks are extremely poor ones to take for G5+ players, they take inordinate amounts of time to complete for us. They should instead be done by the G4 members of your alliance who could earn bonus pts for being better developed and taking advantage of punching up opportunities.

This is a collective effort, and a G6 player about to buy a pack can provide extra value toward the team, in addition to earning bonus credits. A G6 player poaching a good G4 task and turning it into a hard one, is harmful behavior. I don't think AT is fun yet, a bit buggy and feels more like a sale, but I think the shared rewards will be good for the team. The individual rewards in some of the harder tasks are supposed to just be bonuses, with the bulk coming from the end results and there's enough of it to earn measurable progress toward originally p2w stuff.

There’s a ton. You can spend 1k epic ex-borg in your sleep. The 10ks are the only issue because they jacked with the spawn rate of the 3 good tasks and made it so rerolls are 97% garbage tasks that nobody does.

There’s a decent chunk I can do without spending as a G4 that are mid-range, but they’ve been real scummy about their ninja nerf of the epic dominion and borg pulls

The tasks are not super hard to reroll, they are just taken again by the hoarders and selfish/greedy players.

Why is there a urge for the 10k tasks? It doesn't give any tournament points if you finish first or last in the alliance member tab, it prizes everyone equally by how well the alliance do in the tournament rank.

Its not greedy, it promotes competition amongst members to do the best in their alliance while also working together, it also provides a list on who is doing well and you can ask them for tips on what they are doing because it all benefits the alliance.
