They've improved mostly, but still something the events are released and then there's a brief of the changes... Plus still no word on the Gorn Eviscerator event, plus the War Room we were left to guess about the changes and the reason the points saw a huge jump seems to be since damage is now factored in... But that's based on player interactions instead of "heads up, change notes on the event"

Communication has mostly gotten better, but we'll keep ya honest 😜

Without any keystone events the past couple of days I can't get enough to get all the blueprints for a north star. I used a lot getting Hoshi Sato, a few shards of SNW Nurse Chapel, and some 2* uncommon crystal - before the North Star was available in the blueprints shop. I just started the game a couple weeks ago and just got to OP 19.

They changed the scoring metric throughout. Materials, isogen, and the lats are 25K points instead of 1 point, which should help if you can find some OPC.

The rep packs in the in game give way more rep to the 54+ than the 50 to 53 players. How is this fair? I refuse to hit the hostile limit just to compete. If I'm grinding that much I need to have a chance for top 3 finish. As it stands in my bracket I could possibly finish as high as 8th.

I'm not sure if you've noticed but eversince the sale, much has changed for the worse. The "generosity" of the game towards f2p has gone downhill.

Take the arc store as an example. The store offer is worse, the currency one can actually get is a lot lower.

I would, even if there are potential disadvantages. There are gains to be had, and much of the game's content is ops locked if you wait at 39.

It's likely the battlepass is locked at 39 rewards, and moving to 40 now will mean some of your events will be harder than if you stayed at 39, ie. more work for the same rewards.

It’s punishment to all players except the tiny percentage that think this is a true pvp game and buy all the pvp primes and FT…. This new arc design is 100% built for griefers. For the Shattered Glass ALB you don't have to enter a rift to collect points, you can do so in the first six non-rift systems.

At least for me, I'm level 28 so that's the only mission I have available for this event.

Ok, so tell me if I’m missing something (this is based on what the in-game info said, and what I’m seeing here):

1. you have to pay to enter the MU as a while

2. you then have to pay to move systems (moving one at a time from specific points)

3. you can only leave by blowing up (in-game thing seems to indicate that blowing up to hostiles loses your loot), or by extraction points. Which means you need enough tokens to get to wherever you want to grind (painfully slow), but also get to an extraction point if you want to keep your loot.

4. based on my experience just now (maybe a bug?) but also another comment, you have a 20 min limit in the MU. (But nothing indicates that). So you DO have another way to leave (despite what the official stuff says), but if your internet goes out, phone dies, or any other number of things, you basically wasted your entry and system hop tokens (won’t even go into the fact that they system hop method eats up time and therefore gives you less time to actually grind).

Do I have that right? Cool. This whole thing is hot garbage and I won’t be participating in it anymore until it’s fixed. Who at Scopely thought this combination of things was a good idea? Fire them.

Here’s how to fix it:

1. make if function like any other token: pay to get in.
2. once in, let players move freely between systems (or allow them to once they have discovered the systems so making players do the hop game at first is bs, but whatever, just remove the cost)
3. allow players to keep loot if they blow up to a hostile
4. if you’re gonna keep a timer (which I don’t like, but not the first thing you have to pay for but have a timer on, so, whatever), Show how much time is remaining. Edit: apparently there is a timer on your ship window. But since I didn’t know there was a time limit (nothing I read on the blog or the in-game info tells you that), I missed it.

Buying a new ship day 1 is always a gamble and a F2P path shows up month 2 with a ~90-100 timeline depending on grind requirements. The only ship I’ve picked up day 1 is the Voyager but only because it’s the freaking Voyager. I won’t acknowledge how long it took to get the Defiant because I just wasn’t excited about the grind loop.

This is the WORST ARC THEY HAVE RELEASED!! it's a nightmare trying to figure it out, why make it so unnecessarily complicated. I always do every loop, every daily, max pulls on everything. This is so bad I walked away from frustration. I WILL NOT BE DOING THIS ARC. saw a level 59 change his name and quit. Scopley customer service is terrible, Scopley doesn't care about it's customer feedback, only money. Each arc just pushes people either out the door or closer to quitting.

It's funny, you can tell exactly who paid for the $99.99 Mirror Research Tour Pack. Pictured is a lvl 43-45 SLB. There are 10 people tied for 3rd place. I've done two mirror dust refinery turn-ins, and if I wake up early enough tomorrow I should be able to turn another one in in-time for a third. But, the way the research is set up, unless you're EXTREMELY lucky or you pay into it, 4300 points is the best you're going to do in this SLB. It would be really nice if, say, you and a couple other people tied for 3rd place, that all the people tied got the same amount.
I know, I know, SLBs are spender events. I get it. All hail the almighty credit card commandos. This is as blatant a cash grab as it gets. Might as well be playing a slot machine at this point.

Unfortunately you are 100% right. I was second yesterday with 4300 points. Today I woke up and I’m 7th. 😂🤠 and all the players ranking higher than me have the same amount of points (4300).

So I opened a ticket asking why??? Why is it that I’m always being put last? The answer from customer support was basically “that time is the factor. Whoever scores earliest, gets the higher rank.”

Then I poked again and said “can’t you see that this does not add up? This should actually keep me on 2nd place and everyone who scored after me, should be placed on lower ranks according to your answer.”

Answer from CS: “we understand your sentiments… time is only one factor here, there’s another important metric here but we are not at liberty to discuss it. Thank you for understanding. It works as intended.”

I was like “okay so why don’t you say so? It’s obvious that whoever is high ranking has spent $$$. I am free to play so this is the kick in the behind. Thank you that’s all.”

So here we have it 🤡 They somehow have to compensate for the players who are f2p and that’s I guess one of the ways.
