In the announcement section of the game, it says 18,19,20th of March. I'm not sure if that means there will be new events for gathering. But from what I've seen, I don't expect there to be any new events. After you complete the 3 sample gathering and the 3 missions, I think you are just expected to refine the biological samples until the event is done.

That being said... I did collect multiples of each sample ahead of the event just in case.

The new mission styles are not able to be used correctly, as level 7 players in Valakis (server 78) have sat on the only available node. We are unable to reach the player or pvp them. Nobody is able to progress in the arc

Hopefully Scopely can remove this player (if they pay attention, at all) their ticket system leads nowhere

Every 5th round, the Xindi Final Weapon fires its super weapon, dealing lethal damage for one ship. This weapon can be disabled if the Xindi final weapon is assimilated at the start of the round the weapon would fire.

It is 3 days if you didn't collect your syndicates before the noon reset. Also, keeping in mind the cool down timer is 22 hours and not 24 hours.

You seem confused. Its obvious they were not talking to the player base but the shareholders with such comments. The quality they are referring to is that of paying players. The quantity they are lowering is the number of non paying players.
By introducing 3 new grinds, officers that ignore lore, and snubbing the lower level players, they reduce the number of players on each server allowing them to lower the amount of server overhead they have to maintain while keeping the highest paying players. This is classic MBA business tactics to make the quarter to quarter outlook for profit look the best!!!

This event store month is easily their worst ever. Taking the crown from the last event store month, which was at the time the worst one ever. They are getting progressively worse and worse each time.

Previously you'd be able to obtain anything that was paywalled in the previous year or two. You couldn't get EVERYTHING that was paywalled, you had to pick and choose one or two things only... but you could choose from amongst all the pay items they released that you missed out on.

They've done away with all of that. Barely anything to choose from (with many pay items that seemingly will never touch an event store), minimal store currency, purchase limits on things that used to never have limits... its to the point that event store months are clearly worse than having a normal arc where we get mats and resources from events.

I remember an event store month (DS9?) where they had many SLB's and ALB's worth grinding, because they paid out 30k to first and there were plenty of things worth buying in the store. It was a really fun month. Compare that to this month where I barely have any events to run, nothing in the store worth buying, and even if they added anything worthwhile there wouldn't be enough currency to buy it.

Scopely is so cheap they've ruined these months that we used to look forward to. Probably time to just do away with them altogether, if they're going to be such a disappointment.

I think that the description is wrong since i killed about 8 of the xindi hostiles and the loot from those finished the event for me. Took about 24k in the xindi scraps for me for my milestone of 2.4 mil.

XALB scoring is messed up. I did some testing and confirmed the following:

• Doing the armada solo gives you the full points for all of the loot that you collect
• Doing the armada with other players gives points only to the leader of the armada
• The points given to the leader are not equal to the amount of loot they received from the armada, but rather the amount of loot received by the lowest ship in the battle log (like the old Solo Armada bugs where the smallest ship determined scoring)
• The lowest ship in the battle log can be a bigger ship if you star all of the smaller ships, leaving the biggest ship to sit at the bottom of the battle log. At that point, you'll get XALB points based on that ship's rewards

The AMS event scoring seems to be borked … we killed a rare with 4 participants and got 18k points (should have been 24k), killed an epic with 6 participants and went up to 33k points - so plus 15k points but should have been plus 54k points

yes, I also tested strategic starring. If you star the smallest ships and let the biggest ship be the last one in your armada, you'll get their points.

So:

• Is this lag? If so, why does scopely not doing anything about that recurring fail?
• Is the description incorrect? Why put in an incorrect description?

Not spent any yet. Sadly this event was not on calendar so I did all my armada chest pulls prior to reset 😂 So my testing has been limited to gaining credits from running armadas

I would bet that they "tested" this event by going in on a test account, running an armada solo, and validating that the number of points received matched the number of armada credits received. That one passed my testing, too. It's when you add a 2nd player to the armada that things get weird.

Nope. If you star the smallest players and leave the largest unstarred, you'll get points for the loot that the largest player receives.

No, this is the same bug that impacted the solo armada event a few months back and still plagues the cloaking dailies (only the smallest ship in a solo armada counts for the cloaking dailies)
