So another member of my alliance and I compared event stores, and we're seeing different BPs in the ship section. Specifically, only I see the Amalgam, and only he sees the Borg Cube. We're both ops31+ and have completed the Borg Cube mission chain up to the "Build a Borg Cube" step. Any idea what's going on here?

I couldn't do that, I have to hit L41 Klingons for my daily, I Farm system's, but others steal my Target's, so I have to do it again,
I have a short time before I go offline then after reset I do Swarm/ or eclipse

Feedback on the Apex event that just ended:

• The event was interesting and the level of difficulty was appropriate (at least for our alliance)
• However, the lack of tools for alliance leaders made day 3 of this event a really poor experience (days 1 and 2 were OK). Not having any visibility on which members were online, who completed it and who didn't made it an exercise in pinging 70 people and asking "hey have you done the event yet?" and following up and not knowing if the person was online or not, etc.
  To some degree, CoW already had some of that, but CoW was made up of solo events, so less coordination was required. For this one, we had people (especially leaders and big spenders) not doing armadas because they were saving directives to help those who hadn't completed if/when we could find out who was missing.

Historically only dailies reset didn’t move with the timeshift. Events would be out of synch for a week at most then they would resynch to the 6 12 18 and 24 hours in my time zone. That went off the rails in 2023 when we returned to standard time

If there is an intention to continue with the cardassian hunting battlepass event, could I suggest the following(in order of preference):

1. don’t run it
2. add higher level cardassian systems
3. cap the points required to complete
4. add more level 50 systems

This event typically requires up to 120 hostile ships at ops level 52 (I assume this is higher for ops above 52)
With a restriction of level 51 hostiles being the highest available (and rarely spawning) this is a ridiculous time investment.
Of every kind of battle pass event, I hate this one orders of magnitude more than any other.
It has one feasible way to complete it, and almost the entire server congregate in one system

In general, you should expect SMS events to be designed around 35-40 hostile kills. If you see an event that seemingly requires more than that, then you're probably aiming too low and should put in effort to hit a higher level target.

Players here can help with crewing or strategies that might help. That said, some players will have much lower ship/officer/research development than average and simply won't be able to complete some events. I'd work on it, and engage the content from a better position for next time.

I "finished" it in 35 probes by hitting 40s with the recommended crew I got here when I came to complain about the absurdity as well. This is what I ran. I had already joined the gain power event so I didn't actually finish the event, but I killed enough to complete it with 1 run.

If I were to design a crew for you, I'd use a performance crew, not speed. I would still see if ghrush helps on range, but not if you can't kill that high.

I've been using the same crew for a few ops levels and it works for me. I use the snw crew, SNW Pike, SNW Uhura, SNW Una (or Hemmer) with Galenhar and Hugh below decks. thats a good crew for running borg probes in the late 30s, early 40s at least, from what I've found

But as I said, you shouldn't be using my crew. I can design a crew for you, but a speed crew is for a specific kind of approach for a certain level of development.

I do think the point scaling may be a little steep. If I weren’t caught up with research/Talios tier at ops 50, and had to hit lvl 50s instead, it would jump from 35 52s to 87-88 50s.

It was too high to me too, my typical targets are 54s, but was told ghrush opens up 58s for me. Worked out well for the event. Not sure if I'd still go against them for regular targets though. A little risky if I want to use my hybrid speed crew.

Not a fan of a borg crew for the talios, though it's probably decent these days with the addition of Paris BDA. I'd also try some of the newer pve crews, like Janeway Doc eData or Spike Suhura x, as well as cerri buffs against higher targets.

The x there is a damage officer of some sort, like eData or Khan. There are a few variations to try.
