i think amalgam should be added, as well as monaveen, and ships at least 1 step above your current level(G4 uncommon at 34+, G4 rare at 42÷, etc.)
monaveen is a viable primary warship at ops 40-45, and making amalgam a target would promote active defence.

Since it's a Wave Defence event I'm very happy with it. Sometimes that event runs at unfortunate times and on top getting a proper team also can be a hazzle. This way we can skip once or twice.

If you run lorca for hull breach it will increase your overall damage out put

the issue is they have DONE that "upgrade building" on events before, it's neither new nor a bug. There were 4-5 events last year that it was done on. Includig a Q-trials SLB event.
This is why many people hold off upgrading buildings to benefit in those event. It's designed planning targted for events.

This is a dishonest move to yank an event folks have already invested in and scored with. It shows a complete lack of integrity by scopely.

Very disappointing as this release wsa better done and communicated then prior Releases. yes it was delayed but that was better then last time where the game was offline for nearly 12 hours on all servers. At least this time folks could play until the content appeared. And there was communication of working on the issues so we weren't all sitting here going "duh, what's going on"

Basically the quick buyers and builders got cheap access to an entirely different loop (for the building at least) and everyone else has been given the finger and told that they have to do it for 20 times the number of packs

Really. The only fair way to resolve would be to reset the building and comp the buyers with the slb and the 23k building supplies.

Yup, so the people who had access to better packs were on different servers? That is common knowledge, that similarly named and priced packs can have better content on one server than another. So no chance of any legal issue.

they messed up the daily claim of building mats and used the values for building costs - so when you leveled the building up, the daily claim gave you back the same amount of building mats you spent. Since the pack had enough for any individual level of the building, people who bought a single pack could max out the building just by making sure to claim the new drip bundle after each upgrade

Ah, so it created a loop that meant being the last person to 30 would be the winner. Unusual to always have enough to upgrade since upgrades usually increase in the cost of special related currency, so you slow down as you go up. This is obviously the metric they borked up...well no surprises here, we know maths isn't always their strong suit...odd in a game that is basically maths....🤣

What’s really borked is that they fixed that bug so quickly and the folks that were able to utilize it get a maxed building out of it. Should have just left the bug like they did with the ferengi whip 🙂

canceling and event due to “giving an unfair advantage to some players” is pretty hypocritical for this game. the game is entirely based on unfair advantage towards those that not spend in all respects. i am not one that spends so i’m wondering which whale complained about the unfair advantage the game had against him

My guess is someone on their end saw players maxing the holodeck without pack costs to make it add up. They found the bug and rather than freezing the slb, pulled it (I’m not happy with that). But yeah, they got folk watching new buildings and pack releases, I’m sure

Yeah I’ve no fantasy about them caring about this. It purely a reflection of my own engagement in loops or the game in general.

Scopely has existed on a diet of big spenders complaining. Then. Carrying on spending. So they just learnt to ignore any complaints.

Though I have noticed that those long time spending players are a dying breed. Sure they’re replacing some of them by new players. But retention of a player who’s been in game 5 weeks is a lot shakier than one 5 years in

I was interested in learning what the enterprise and the new building meant.
