Heads up, they've changed the scoring for the complete missions event so it no longer requires you to build the cube by the end of the month.

An extra 100 has been added to Heroes and Villains scoring.
They're also adding the upcoming hero/villain events to the scores for those who have already completed the H&V mission, so that even if you were quick off the mark with it, you can still finish the event.

That's understandable. Some players skip rss ticket events entirely and spend during end of arc months for the currency. You get to choose what is best for you. This is just another option, that awards rare tickets and some officer shards.

Skipping events is normal, especially ticketed events if you're f2p/l2p. This is just another tier on top of that. You should still skip some of them as a f2p/l2p. A third are available to you if you make certain sacrifices.

There are still years of content for the f2p, and more every month. Some of the feel that it's moving away from a "f2p game" is better communication on what is p2p and what isn't, ie. they're making more effort to mark events as Heroic. The rest is probably true that more p2p events are here. Capturing more advanced tiers of revenue is probably just good business.

Is it at the cost of f2p? hard to say, I don't think f2p has enough time as it is "complete" everything. The game is just too much for f2p and players have to cut content just to stay afloat.

F2P players need to learn that not everything is meant for them to complete. They will always behind those that spend. There's nothing wrong with that style of play but it does come at a cost.

F2P also has to make certain decisions in their gameplay so that they can sometimes take advantage of certain events. Like ticketed events. F2P should learn when to skip them entirely to save tickets for times when it's best to run all the ticket events.

The other very simple part is COMMUNICATE with players if you’re going to make this kind of change. A lot of players discovered this because they spent mats and then noticed the scoring was off. @pseudo rune @modest frost and the team really failed the community here, and for me at least, it’ll be awhile before that trust is rebuildable. It’s one thing if the devs are going to screw around and change stuff, it’s another for the community-facing team to be this bad at their jobs.

Maybe you update it to celebrate the G6 materials. But why you don't start the event with ranges that includes players that can have the possibility to reach G6 materials and are able to refine it? No player up to 59 will able to refine it and is able to spend it within the event. For me as lvl 50 player it isn't possible to refine G5 material. So the only way to participate is to spend G3 and G4 materials. Which is now 20% or about 40% worth of the original points.
This arc and events don't shows anything to celebrate the 5th year of the game till now.

So they closed this loophole (and wreaking havocs on G3 / G4 players).
Exactly like the Heroic armadas where you could use Solos which a lot of people had plenty in stock. Next iteration was normal directives only, ensuring people had to buy packs if they wanted to do these.

Sure you can if you don’t move your screen. You can still mine and target mining nodes. Just leave the system and go back in by navigating to any other part of the interface (chat, switching systems to galaxy view etc) and it resets back to the start. It sucks you have to do it but you can certainly work around it and not waste a token

Before today the higher ones always counted. However with the change is material scoring they probably changed this up as well, for the players "benefit" of course.

oh god. Threat from beyond is hardcoded to the level displayed in the event for you. It will only score if you hit THAT level (not above)

They team that did G6 probably tagged it onto old code, without accounting for all the new "stuff" they've had to bandaid over the past..... several years. So the upper exchange systems are broke, higher level swarm are broke, voyager systems broke. They didn't change swarm, they just ripped off all the bandaids at once.

the regular is broken, it makes no mention of level but also does not count over 35.

Why on earth do you guys keep changing the recruiting events? This is by far the worst run you have had. 30 pts for g4 UC, maybe that would be ok for g6 players but those of us still in the 40s it is really difficult…speedups, ship parts, and stuff to upgrade make it almost impossible even if we wanted to compete. Go back to what worked with the doctor or something.

Question from a low-level player. I'm taking on the ticketed events, but I seem to have run out of tickets to do more than one today. Fair enough if this is a monetization thing, but the store doesn't show any packages that allow me to buy tickets. Am I missing something here?

there should be 2 packs.
and it's normal that you run out, for free players it's meant to be a choice which of the 3 you pick.
or if you don't like the rewards one arc, you can save up tickets to have more the next arc.

Events finished in 30 min. I guess player engagement is no longer important. Swarm rewards aren't worth the effort for 50+, especially now that g4 rendered near worthless for spend events. Can't possibly spend enough to finish officer SMS due to bottlenecks, so why even try. Guess I'll shield up and call it a day.

Why do they insist on winding people up with this blatant disregard for the player base... They are quite happy to spout on about all the new stuff that inevitably won't work but silent on all the nerfs. Please Scopley this is no way to treat your players, you know those people that keep you in business.
