The group armada points are buggy. They are only applying if YOU start the armada. I did about 6 armadas before realizing I had to start it. It will take forever to complete that bugger at 1 point each to get you 55,000 points!!

You have to kill 500 hostiles to get the avvie needed to get the second, then an absolute crqpload (125) of group armadas to get the avvie for the third, and then need the directives for 10 solo armadas.

Scopely has long "pointedly encouraged" PVP. Armadas can be done solo, even the group ones, but the point of a multiplayer game is to play with others. So Scopely has created an event to reward that. They have created a way you can complete it solo, if group play is that distasteful to you. So what's the problem? That the solo-only route is impractical? That's the point.

Hi, i am OPS 14! I can't do Armadas. It's really impossible to kill 55500 hostiles in just 5 days. I need a year to do that. As you can see i am rank 3 with only 12 hostiles, (512 in total), because only 3 people in SLB bracket were crazy enough to kill 500+ Hostiles in a day. Please change the event for lower OPS Levels!

Auto-grind ain't as fast as active grinding, but again this assumes that players are high enough levelled to be able to leave their ships out and be able to do other things

Players who are low powered for their ops level, who were playing to rush and weren't planning ahead. Yes, there will be some events that they cannot do, and they need to weigh that up against increased ops/general event rewards when doing that rush.

I had to shelve solo armadas for a good 2-3 months when they first appeared because my ships were behind my ops level so drastically.

It's worse for the players who are <35 and still have similar targets to attempt

Summer Hunt Information
The intent is to only show 1 SLB per player. So during the first day some players may have seen more than one SLB because as they rank up, if they scored in a specific SLB when it popped up, the SLB will have stayed to save their participation. On reset all players who have ranked up should go back to 1 SLB.

Each day player's should get the leaderboard that matches their rank so if they reached the Veteran rank they will get the Veteran leaderboard.
meaning, if you got to the Veteran Rank Day1, going forward you should only see the Veteran SLB

Hopefully this will clear up any confusion around the SLB's

I think its safe to say that this event has a pretty ridiculous score threshold. My alliance is the top on our server. Been running armadas non stop for two days and I'm still 65 armadas away from the third tier. that's 16.25 more hours of sitting and waiting on armadas to start.

I get it they want to make more money with selling armada packs, but this is just too much for way too little reward.

So in essance, you are robbing players of their earned loot through game activity. this hostile loot limut does nothing to stop BOT users, it only robbs hard core players like my self. But now, i cant gain any more loot from hostiles due to the level of negligence of fore though concerning the event plan that peeps will use all their ships to hunt ships to score.

Chest cooldown change followed by some type of claim all system would help immensely. Same would go for any other chests that have a longer cooldown than 24 hours. They would all reset on X day. And the cooldown starts when it resets. So even if you forget to claim a chest with a long cooldown for a day, you can still claim it and not lose any time

Having to log in and click chests and reset atas for 15 to 20 minutes is such poor game design that I can't believe something hasn't been done already

Play for value, capture that and you'll position yourself better against your cohort (f2p). The whales are playing their own game, and you cannot win without playing the same.

Claim event was all about solos, only 1 slb of the 3 bh events scored via solos, even still much of peoples score in that slb came from joining armadas. People topping the bracket in the Supreme choice slb scored bigly with both solo and group armada directive spend. Day 2 veteran slb, which scores the most from solos: top 10 spots all taken by people that were on for 12 hours straight joining group armadas with like 4 ships.

Free directives is like a band-aid for a tumor. The underlying problem is uninspired and dull event design.

Scopely doesn’t have the creativity (possibly talent) to give us a new in game activity. All they can do is reskin hostiles, armadas, and mining.

Yes the technical issues compound the problems. But they had the chance to do something with variety here and still keep it within the framework they've got. Why not have us hunt a different species each day? Kill just Andorians, for example.

The gift was fine but those are the directives I lost. I actually took screen shots of the armada before and after because we’ve been having another issue with people showing up to armadas but not everyone attacking.

Isn't it great that they send out directives with a message that makes it appear that the compensation chest relates to a previous issue, not ont that is ongoing with no resolution in sight. That we players can use lose those directives too

Question- I just did two uc borg solo armadas. The first one completed and I received the rewards. The second one just went “poof” when the time ran down and there was no battle and the armada disappeared. Anyone else having this issue?

@pseudo rune @modest frost server 157 armadas are vanishing after they've been called and the timer for battle has been reached, nothing in battle log and directives are gone, also just had a crystal node vanish when it was time to reset the node so mining may well be broken also 😔😠 💩

Normal armadas have the same issues. It apparently affects all armadas.
Meanwhile, scopely apparently doesnt bother to make am announcement in the ingame bulletin board. 🙄

Lot of people are hitting the Klingon flagships costs 20 directives and 2 minutes quick points and something else to look into are the fissure armadas they give 200 each of you have tokens

is it a know issue atm that borg solos don't dissapear after being defeated? Looking at a system full of "destroyed" spheres that cannot be attacked... Eidt: they can be launched against but the attack fails and directives are lost...
