The slb and the sms are 2 different things. Sms is to provide the carrot, slb is the reward. There is no completing of a slb however.

I keep seeing people say directive 010 was not designed to be completed. It obviously was designed to be completed with the right strategy. Or did someone in Scopely actually come out and claim it wasn’t to be completed, which they obviously got wrong. I also completed both previous times with a little planning and plenty of time to spare.

Devs can't compete with players who are so conditioned to complete a sms, they will still try, even if the entire event is optional, even if they intend for it to not be doable. And then players come to complain about their 90 min experience tapping things continuously, which they brought upon themselves. Truly voyager part 2 is a grand social experiment.

Pvp ship point system should be restructured for points awarded by power destroyed and not ship destroyed. Killing realtas and getting 1000 points per ship and I destroy a 3 m power ship and get the same values as a realta. So for those players that cheat the event they have less of chance of being 1st for only killing low level ships.

Last time I did it, I got about 3,000 Romulan and 400 Klingon, and it swaps around for the different factions.

Missing 4 wouldn’t make sense with your current score, but there was one makeup event they ran, so it’s possible you missed one and got caught up with the makeup event.

17 pts is max right now. The make-up event only gave you a point if you were behind. Missing the right event at the right time could give you 17 total still while failing to complete the Unknown Quantity event. If you could get a list of the events you missed, it would be easier to see if it fits.

2. A Troublesome Peace SMS
3. Deflector Infection SMS (Completed)
4. The Main Defector SMS
5. Augment Holotech SMS
6. Gearing up SMS (Completed)

I honestly don’t recall THAT many storyline SMS events running during the short duration the Unknown Quantity SMS event ran, and even if I somehow missed 4 whole storyline SMS events it makes zero sense that I have the same amount of points in “Complete the Storyline Events - SMS” as those individuals who have never missed a single storyline SMS event.

The best possible explanation is what you mentioned in your post, I must have somehow missed one single storyline event during the Unknown Quantity SMS but was caught back up with that extra event they put in. This would explain why I was 20K points short of completing the event if the makeup event was introduced after the Unknown Quantity SMS had ended. Guess I should have reached out here first instead of to support, because they just added to the confusion by stating I didn’t complete 4 storyline SMS events.

Missing Resilient prey SMS will cause you to miss the artifact. The make-up pt from that event could have been earned from Temporal Anomaly, and that would put you at the same pts as max today.

I think that’s where the original confusion originated from, since someone mentioned that one storyline event didn’t count for everyone so they introduced an extra SMS for those individuals who were missing a point. I was just trying to figure out if I may have been affected by that issue since I thought I had done every single storyline SMS and battlepass daily up to that point.

For me its the foldering that will sometimes catch me off guard. Just seems like daily events would be more easily navigable without the extra load screens. If an event is a month-long theme, couldn't it just have like, an orange trim?

OR make the folder glow when a new event pops up. There's just a lot of alternatives to indicate something new is available than the current "You have to go in and check" method. I'd be ecstatic if we got a sidebar event tracker, similar to sidebar chat.

It's a bug that the event is showing for you at all. There's an #⭐-official-announcements on it. Ignore that event.

It is fixed, the error on the scoring card was removed. 100k pts is nothing for how long this runs, and the iso damage didn't work anyway. It's an armada event for the most part.

They couldn’t get their math right. The artifact did additional damage equal to 1% of the regular damage. When you add the 2 together, it’s isolytic amount is LESS than 1% of the new total, and wasn’t enough to score.

I was running Pic/Bev/Janeway. My iso damage was 22% of the regular damage. Adding the 2 amounts meant the iso damage was 18% of the new total. And that’s why I was getting 180 points per kill.

Anyone doing just the bare minimum of 1% iso damage wasn’t actually doing enough damage to score.

It is an epic/rare armada event which makes it very limited and a $$$$ event. And even then. 75 kills per epic armada is not that hard to overcome.

In 15 minutes, a player can easily kill more than 75 ships.

Because of due diligence, and commitment, (and $0 dollars spent BTW) we had been sitting at rank 1 and 2 respectively. We didn't exactly need tl catch up. But then were passed by like 13 people! If we're in store for more of that "new cellular customer" logic of only awarding the points for the new customers/people trailing behind in the leaderboards for "catch up" purposes, as opposed to the loyalty, commitment, dedication, and non-spending inducing tactics each day that I've been employing for the past 20 days, it would be nice to know now early on. I'll just wait until we both bottom out past a certain rank, and then complete the prerequisites later on tonight.

Megacubes were pretty broken even before the Talios, my alliance of mostly late-30s, early-40s ops levels has no problems knocking them out the last time around.

Unfortunately it sounds like you'll remain short to finish it. The event only had enough buffer to miss two events, if you missed them at the right time, otherwise, the most you could miss was one.

Actually that's a very very good point that I hadn't considered. However you would burn through those tokens twice as fast. You're still gated from the juice to spawn 8472

The end of arc event store should open during the last part of an arc, probably next tuesday, not this one for sure. And if it's not next tuesday, then it'd be in August, probably.

What event store do you mean? If for voyager arc, it wouldn’t be for a week (one week of flashpass between arcs). And I’m not convinced the voyager arc is 3 months only. Chakotay and Tuvok are referenced in the missions, plus there are others we’d like to see. So could be a 4 or even 5 part arc

I’m guessing it’s at least 4 months. They will milk this arc for as much $$ as possible, so more parts makes sense for them.

Players aren't subject to pvp until they've matured a bit. It can be daunting to be beat up when you've first started playing, but with time, newbies become used to pvp and how to fight in this game.

I get that Cand1e but it misses one point. they are already getting beat up lol. we are pvping and raiding daily. now granted the shield cap on system level will scale that up somewhat, but they are not without bruises already.
