Update: event completed without amlgam. It took two vidar loads transfered to surveys because protected cargo eats into it every kill. Good news is when your survey dies with the plundered cargo it shows full points gained, and then full points when you take it back

Was it worth it? I don't know

Not all systems are like this. In faction systems surveys have a separate spawn than the combats

i've been hit several times and did not get credit for the lost loot. I would also add, it would not make sense for the same loot to be counted more than once. for me when i hit the hostile, then for the enemy ship to get credit when killing me, then the next ship to get credit for killing them

So I got rewards for the 4th milestone in Starbase Staffing after the event updates with rewards. But I claimed my rewards from Recruit Sisko which gave me empty rewards for the first three milestones of Starbase Staffing. How do we get those rewards?

The supply chain antics event was a joke!! You could only hold maybe four ships worth of cargo because of the type of ship needed to destroy them so, most of the time you spent traveling because there was no relocatable bases close to where you had to fight the ships. Also there was so many people in The limited areas that it took 10 minutes to be able to get those four ships. Total waste of time I didn't even reach the first reward. They didn't think this one through at all. 🤬

Stella is necessary to progress in the Outlaw loop, I would not skip it

The very first reseach of Stella makes it do 300% more shots against Outlaw hostiles, she is very strong compared to other ships of similar power against eclipse

I think game assumes at lvl 28 or 29 that you will have Stella and you start getting the Clear the Coast event that kinda needs you to use Stella, similar like at first you do not get events for Borg probes and after lvl 25 or 26 they start to appear

Stella is fully FTP though

We also track net performance for multiple reasons via work and there are no issues right now

The lag is between the users client, processing on the server and returning the results. It’s getting stuck in queues on server side.

Which is why it’s returning results eventually

The task scheduler is either overloaded or there is some local outage on the servers being used.

It’s not though “the internet” and it’s a little disingenuous to blame that

Hopping to the top alliance allows you to bypass the limit on some research that requires ASB development. Then without rep, you could buy up the research you want, then hop back out. With rep, you're required to stay there for awhile to rebuild it.

The only people who are seriously negatively impacted by the rep gates are the people who want to buy a bunch of packs to cap out the tree instead of running armadas and working with the alliance they're in - everyone else needs to get their assembly medals from chest pulls, which also produce rep.

No. The people negatively impacted are the low spender and free to play visiting allied alliance for particle, jelly bp, or just fun. The one who drops dozen pack to max their tree are already in top alli. They won't hop hop any highter

Those players would probably leave their smaller alliance and stay in the big one for good. Huge negative for their old alliance, but the players themselves would be better off

No free to play will go from a top 10 alli to top 1 to max their tree magically. Rep is hard to get outside top 3, when you don't do epic and rare by dozen. Credit for research too. So unless you move up for good, no point to go in top alli and come back just after.

Unless there some magical balanced server where all the whales are not mostly together in top 2/3/5 depending of the server size. Some players already have million rep with weeks of chest stock. Even if they loose everything to go highter, they don't care. 1 week lost. Low spenders and free to play? It's months

Our alli have 4 years. We have friends in 3 other alli. We are used to visit each other since 4 years, long before armada, long before territory.... And we are not an unique case. One new mechanism, after 4 years, just killed totally 4 years of fun and social aspect. To close a loophole that only big spenders care about, and that won't even impact them that much

They aren't in the event store - anyone with the appropriate ent/augur/d4 should be able to see the ent/augur/d4 skin in the cash store when it's available for purchase, but as of yet they are only in the cash store and only at certain times. I believe the augur skin will be available starting tomorrow for three days, and the d4 skin will be available for three days starting the week after that.
