because that scores extra either for hostile or for ship for other events

I think I’ve completed the root cause analysis - I tuned the kettle on at the same time as trying to log in and caused a subspace shock wave that fried the servers.
That or it could have been when the cleaner took the plug out of the wall for the vacuum cleaner

and personally, right now, they shouldn't lock it behind 7 day log in. especially when this is the time where players are more prone to take breaks since the game just isn't great rn

Kir'shara being so unbelievably broken has made be ditch a load of events, I really can't be bothered. Devs must've been under instructions to stop it displaying errors- presumably they weren't clear on actually making it functional as well. Even cursory regression testing should have revealed this. It's making me realise the game is a chore without it (or even with it).

The Kir'Shara issue alone has made me bin off half the grind events that are on, it's killed off any enthusiasm I might have had left.
So they give us an inventory filter that should have been there years ago, and a bulk claims tied to a player retention FOMO hostage mechanic, and too many players are suddenly showering praise on Scopely like they're the second coming.

I have no ill will against the comms or mods. But they are the speaking aspect of a company that has constantly been badgering us to spend cash and making loops impossible for the last year without a serious cash infusion on our end. Yeah the CMs and mods are doing a good job, or the best they can in the circumstances. Certainly can't fault them and my hat is off to them for putting up with all the problems.
