There’s actually a decently long list of games that came back from a brink of disaster or financial ruin because they listened to their fans and made course corrections to remake the game in an image the players knew it needed to be.

Scopely can choose to be one of them or not, but you should never fault the players for actually wanting something they enjoyed at one point and pd time to return to being something they can enjoy again.

Not many people waited until ops 70+ to build their first g5 ships, so those players are now punished for having efficiencies they didn’t have when they were first building those ships.

It has been in recent months. I got the sphere and then had a month of feeling forced to grind because only 2 of us in the alliance had it tiered a little. The pressure was on us to perform to make sure my alliance got warp dive currency from the multiple back to back ALBs. I wanted to grind for them but i was miserable doing it. It’s not an alliance effort in grinds like this, its people not being able to engage and leaving it to their bigs to do it all

It’s difficult when these new arcs are so dependent on spending because for those who do choose to invest in the feature, it falls on them to do it. Partly why im not sure about the new ship and likely won’t get it. I haven’t got the motivation or stamina for that level of grind

The solution to what is happening to the game currently is simple really. Look at where the game was at its peak. That is where players were happiest. Revamping old arcs, making things so difficult that paid content is the only way to progress is killing the game. Maybe consider stop doing what the player base is constantly complaining about and we might actually like playing this game again. To be honest if we were not Star Trek fans we probably would have all quit by now. You are doing what Starfleet Academy has done and have pretty much ruined what Star Trek is all about, take this from someone who has been a fan since TOS. Rant over (at least for now!)

Why is everyone leaving, its the same annoying bugs etc since day 1 you have come this far instead of focusing on negative just play as you can choose selectivly what you want to focus on and enjoy the game and peopleon here stop rushing everything youmissing out on the journey....no offence to anyone 🙂
