Couple years back I got another device created a new account but somehow the 2 accounts got messed up so every time I logged in didn't matter what email it always logged me into the alt account. I put a ticket in and they managed solve the problem.

The AT refresh was just silly.
It was working fine the way it was, it just needed maintaining. Adding new tasks, adding new store items, removing items the player had already obtained/maxed and removing some of the older tasks (like the kill 400 hostiles that are capped at level 60 when in a lvl69 player).
Just adding new tasks into AT would make players use the re-rolls more.
Adding more to the store would make spenders buy more.
There was no need for yet MORE currencies.
AT needed updating but there was no need to do what they did.
Breaking an existing game mechanic like they did feels like pulling up the ladder after a load of players have benefited from the old way it worked. It comes across as very unfair and mean spirited.

stfc is a super old game for them though. in mobile games, the timeline for a product like stfc has been long past the peak. it began development in 2013. and several versions of the game actually look like the original videos you might have seen. lots of cutting room floor content from the game.

With them eliminating rerolls almost entirely, alliance tournaments now feels like a competition within your own alliance. I rerolled something to a free to play task I could finally complete and it gets snapped up before I can start it. Teammates aren't rerolling tasks for the whole team anymore because the rerolls are so scarce. I mean great my alliance gets the points but now I get shafted for completion and rewards, and that certainly will not incentivize me to spend money. You've ruined a team event.

When a company like Scopley choses to shield the actual decision makers, it is the company that puts them in this position. Agreed, the only reason there is a reroll at all is to encourage spend. If rerolls work and you get FTP tasks you won't spend on buying more rerolls. At least that's their mentality. They will think, well if rerolls are infinite and you can just keep rerolling till you get a FTP task why not just show all the tasks all the time.

They are employees of Scop. Mysticnightingale even confirmed this. But like their In game support, you get ignored for a simple request of confirmation about something.

What is expected. Months of non-stop issues, lag, failure, poorly designed arcs, and a thousand other things that can be listed. All of which has been raised time and time again by the thousands of players. But constantly ignored. What is expected? With their level of service all they’re going to get is angry players. Especially when you have paid literally more then their annual salary into the game.

Yet, nothing changes.

If one compo chest thinks that makes them “savers” they’re greatly mistaken. It’s barely worth a £99.99 pack. At very least it should have been that, plus the main arc elite, and mystic parts as well. That compo is an insult.

All we players want is for a game that actually works, the constant paywalls (visible and hidden ones) reduced, customer support who actually do something instead of their robotic responses. After all , we are human, so expect a human response.

It really isn’t difficult for them to put pressure on their own work colleagues to actually do what needs to be done. That’s the only way players are going to stick to this game.

How many players have left in recent weeks/months? thousands. How many in the past year? (I heard over 45,000). That alone should speak volume.

Both Hammy/Pauly been in discord everyday? Where’s the updates? Aside from the ridiculous STFC announcements which is “issue with this, issue with that” non-stop.

Best way to do this, Make an ARC, make it last for a month, spend all that entire month patching the bugs, fixing old bugs etc. then you have the next month where you can just run interim SMS and SLBs for stuff like ship parts special ship part etc. Then you can just focus on making a new ARC and testing.

Rinse and repeat. it means you have Part 1 of an arc. then some downtime then part two instead of a new arc and MORE content every month.

i think the problem is the amount of content thats being pushed it as fast as it is, the teams not up to the task of testing and building.

Please, be kind to the CMs. Hell I don't agree with them all the time but you need to understand their limitations. CMs aren't over the customer support, the bot, etc. No reason to yell at them for that stuff being a PITA.
I understand their limitations but i still disagree with you on this point.

The company placed them (the CMs) in the first defense line to block any critizism and pushback from the community because of their mistakes, bad business practices and mismanagement.

So if the player base is angry (obviously for good reasons) and the company stays "under the radar" then the CMs are the right target for our feedback.

Both Hammy/Pauly have been in this Discord literally every day while the whole place has been on fire and an absolute poopshow. Give them some grace.

But they are masters in "selective reading/responding" and their responses (if any) do not help us any further most of the time.

Their phrases "Asking...", "Raising it." and other most vague and MEMEworthy responses also dont help us if there are no follow-ups on reported bugs and community feedback.

no. Graphics cards are usually the problem in this game.. if its crashing a lot... its likely using a non-ATI / nVidia card, or needs a graphics driver update

Buddy, i am on Nvidia and i see similar issues on a regular base with other Games too. This is not an AMD/Nvidia issue, it's just bad coding and many Developers are just lazy nowadays as hell.

Weird. I’m using a hyper-scaled cluster of Vera Rubins in my personal giga-server-farm directly connected via fiber to the center of the global internet, yet I keep getting connection errors and crashes in STFC every few minutes.

Will have to think of some ways to upgrade my setup so that my STFC pixels don’t get stuck in retrieving…

It's a D*ck move, but compared to last week where we had five(!) Heroic Events at some point and one or two normal Ones i guess it's save to say that it could be worse.

None of them is bad or good, they had/have/will have their issues. At least Intel is trying to catch up with them so let's hope they will manage to do so we will see some competition.

Also i dont like the additional battle pass as a solution for a compensation.

A real compensation should get sent out to every player who was active during Arc 90 and with no additional work from our side (no strings attached). The BP itself is (mildly stated) not what players expected and Scopely even cant get the compensation out to every player.

Also we need to actively work for getting the rewards out of this additional BP.

tl;dr
The BP as a comp is not a good way to get things right and Scopely itself is using the BP here to fake higher activity numbers of the players (keeping the daily login numbers high) to cheat on their investors.

Also a cheap trick to silent any critics on the BP rewards nerf: they give "double rewards" as a one-time solution but the next BP is still nerfed. Instead they should have reverted all changes to BP.

Don't worry, flagship devices crash equally. They're just faster and more responsive.

Despite rumors, this game needs lots of resources. The difference between gameplay experience on flagship phones 2-3 years apart is huge.

The compensation BP is just some breadcrumbs thrown at players after their income got slashed.

The compensation Battlepass doesn't solve:

1. Permanently reduced income.
2. Exponentially higher time spent in game for AT in order to get the same income.

I suspect it’s less insidious than that. The code is extremely unstable right now. This was the Easy Button comp plan. They could do that without breaking the code. Is it lame for all the pain they’ve caused? Yes. Especially since BP rewards are smaller. So an extra dose of “not much” isn’t appeasing an angry customer base.

Don't underestimate Tarkov, that Game is huge. They just lost some momentum since Arc Raider manage to launch before them on Steam which was just a bad management decision from the Tarkov Team that made it very easy for Arc Raiders to pull the numbers it back then did during the Launch weeks.

A big failing of the new content is that it feels like a chore and the only thing that is linked to previous content is some overlapping research.
....here is another time consuming event, but you have to do lots for minimal rewards. Add it onto the list of stuff you have to do daily.
It takes about 15 mins to get through all the faction stores every day. And that is only if the lag isn't there. So adding another one on is just mind-numbing whether a spender or not.
