@split storm yes it's worth it in the higher ops, but yes it sucks that it will probably cost 100, with all the issues it's getting harder to justify spending so I'm spending here and there

This depends. Most players I come across think they need to do all things at max at all times. That drives burnout, fomo, and what Scopely hopes is to pay repeatedly for the solution.

The game also rewards player most for consistency, which is why the login in event, daily BP event, and loyalty tokens.

That extends to refineries. It’s not about max. It’s about sustainable. Usually, make one specialty loop the overall main focus. Pick a loop a day to focus on for stocking up. Ideally 15-20mins you’ll have what you need for +2 weeks of sustainable refines.

Officer acquisition and promotion gives you a lot of options on how to effectively do various loops.

Ah. Ok. My understanding is that the mids BP was to meet those players with content that exists for them. I’ve camped at several different lillypads to balance rewards with ease of overall content. I’ve also taken time off and missed missions. Worked out ok in the end.

Hopefully you’re in a team that has a few people that can give more bespoke guidance on where you’re at and what you like to do or wanna eventually do. For example, I’d write guides on how to overhit various solo armadas. A 10-minute session would result in max refines for a month or more. Hopefully you have someone that can guide content efficiency in a manner like that so you can preset your crews for loops.

At some point, the g6/g7 content will force you via design to have done certain amounts of prior content. For example, bunch of newer g6 that hated waves now have to do at least 3 waves to get the armada QuickStarts as they venture to g6 madas while dealing with hazard space.

this game is still running alot of outdated tech, the way they handle enemy spawn is also quite poor. the plugins for animated icons are laggy. they've gone to great lengths to make this game run as rough as you're experiencing. and they lose compatibility with older devices with this storage problem they're creating.
