This was tracking all three as downward for over a week, they still didn’t care.
Only thing they care about is if people buy packs, and people are proving no matter how bad it gets, they can’t help themselves. It’s almost Pavlovian and stockholmian at the same time.

It doesn't override any shield you may put up beforehand, so if you are worried just throw up a longer shield beforehand

How many people have been fired over the repeated failures of basic functions over the past year?

It is possible to troubleshoot large-scale well-written code. You have to have standards and hold the devs to them. You modularize the code, so that parts of it can be investigated. Proper error flagging is also key.

I find it really funny that when I started playing this game, maintenance was monthly. Somewhere, it became semi-monthly. Then it got to be basically weekly. But all of a sudden it feels like it's turning into semi-weekly and the only thing I've noticed over the last 4 years is that this game has gotten significantly more busted. And it's not even necessarily the new stuff breaking. It's frequently content that worked for AGES. One of the guys I used to be in an alliance with develops games for a living. He's my litmus test. If he's mad, then it's because of something that should be avoidable. He's frequently mad at this game these days.

It was mentioned via Scopely's wonderful ticket team that those who already bought that pack will have to buy it again. Uh, no!!! That is not right. Scopely needs to get off their high horse and do the right thing, stop ripping players off, and fix this game, properly.

When I started playing STFC couple years ago, 95% of STFC discord content was about new arcs, strategy and generally how to have fun with STFC.

Today, 95% of STFC discord content is about how borked the game is and daily system meltdowns and big issues experienced by players in real time.

Players didn’t cause this shift and it’s mind boggling how deaf & blind STFC seems about all this.

Best thing to do is to keep the reset BP and gift all commanders the points necessary. Less work and it is a win-win: Takes no time to do and players double dip on 3-5 tiers of milestones which is very small

It's basically a sloppy transition from Unity 2021 right to Unity 6, bypassing the incremental updates to Unity 2022 and 2023 that did it all in I believe. That and uncommented legacy code providing an additional stumbling block. It should have been a slower transitional upgrade allowing for the remedying of smaller issues, instead of bypassing two upgrades and hoping for the best in my opinion. Scopely got two upgrades worth of issues to rectify all at once. They need a person or two well versed in Unity to help.

I firmly believe the issue is mainly three things (of course I'm focused on code here and there are other issues too) (a) A giant leap from Unity 2021 to Unity 6 with no slow transition to Unity 2022 and then Unity 2023, THEN Unity 6, (b) no follow through on complete integration of Unity 6 graphics wise and other places too, and (c) uncommented legacy code that current Scopely coders have no clue does what exactly, and therefore can't modify it for Unity 6 accordingly. They have educated guesses at best. This is a symphony of failure unless you can figure it all out.

It's not WHEN they upgraded it, but how. They skipped Unity 2022 and Unity 2023 and went to Unity 6. Tha t included any kind of issues they may have had between the two upgrades. So they got them all at once. Now take two upgrades of issues and couple that with uncommented legacy code. You think the coders can figure out what that uncommented code does and then properly implement it? One thread potentially pulls on three more. You're just guessing it will work. It's uncommented, so you can't be sure. Here goes nothing.

I would like it to provide more current resources, nodes that are not 3 generations behind the curve, services that are not lost in the noise and some level of interaction (hostiles that attack if you don’t control it).

Basically to mean something when you hold it and be worth fighting for.

feel like i've received a 1, 2 punch, 1 being all the game bugs, 2nd, can't farm the new hostiles as at level 70 i'm not in the top 10 percent and did not buy into this arc, not even the BP, so basically, i have nothing to do but the daily events and refines....boring, and this will go on for months

This game used to fun a couple of years ago but now with so much stuff being added that is good & bad plus the players that are bullies & want to treat you like a second class citizens & play game like stop taking a TC by interfering so they take it then right after they take it they drop it so you do not get it. That kind of thing is ruining the experience for me the petty little children getting worked up about nothing then taking it out on everyone they can. Rant Concluded.

Yeah if that's a scopely light switch, 1st off, the light would not go off for about 5 to 10 seconds due to lag, then the switch would be stuck at the off position, and 3rd an electrical fire would start behind the wall

the electrican would arrive, charge you 99.99 to repair it, and then the power to your house would go off
