Not only immune, but the officers will actually have a negative impact on your battle and ship, they'll actively self destruct your ship just for the idea of fighting a new hostile.

It’s what they are trying really hard to do.

Their own poor planning put them in a corner with absurd power creep issues and numbers, and now they are reduced to trying to make it so the hostiles are just flat out immune to all but a small percentage of any sort of dpr output a player can put together while doing everything they can to make the hostiles able to quickly shot player ships as long as the player hasn’t bought in, cash heavy, on the new building.

As a retired developer, I understand this is a game, not a real world mission critical application.

When I had more than 2 application users come to my team about an issue, depending on the severity and impact, we took it seriously. IF it was a mission critical or security threat, we dropped everything and addressed it immediately.

Additionally, we had three (3) environments, yes three.

• Development
• Testing
• Live/Production

All development was done in that system and signed off before moving to Testing. Once in Testing, it was first tested by the development team then a user base. It was hammered to break the modifications. If something as tiny as a misspelling, it was a failure and sent back to development to be corrected before testing again. Once the team and users signed off on the modifications, then a maintenance window was set to move it into the Live/Production system. Again it was tested before the users/customers were allowed into the system.

With that said, Scopely, your users/customers are telling you to get your act together. You ran an event to get former players to return but they left because of the issues you keep repeating time and time again. Yet somehow the complaints, bugs, performance, etc. keeps falling on deaf ears.

Scopely needs to listen very closely and address what their user base/customers are telling them.

This was typed up in the spirit in the hopes Scopely will take the necessary actions in-house to correct the deficiencies and not to be malicious or hostile.

Well written, however, there is one problem. You are assuming that Scopely / Digit is passionate about their product. They are not. It is a means to an end. They are following a business model of luring players in with a name brand and advertisements promising the best of the best. Their plan is basically to lure you in, set up expectations, set up a norm for paying, set up a norm for paying to overcome unrealistic expectations of an achievment, sabotage the game after an amount of time, and when the accepted amount of profit falls below a preset amount, shut down the game, and start again with a new product.

I got since the start of the arc 680 loot for refining . but I need 24k for a chest. That would allow me to trade for resources for 4 days to level up the building. With that, I might be able to get the building to level 3.

But to get enough to refine one chest it will took around 240 days. Your balance is beyond all limits.

Anybody mind checking if I missed anything? So far we know this arc has:

• Removed choice token
• Is the last run of officer depot tokens before they turn RNG
• Has reduced event payouts
• Will reset our AT tokens in favour of monetised tokens
• Will further monetise AT tasks through "mythic" tasks which will further dilute the task pool (I'm also willing to bet that the mythic AT tasks pay out a different AT currency so the new goods can't be gotten through stored AT currency)
• Introduced a loop that many G6 players can't realistically do due to the loot gained versus loot needed
• Has has to pull the BP due to scoring issues + has had to pull it due to the fix making things worse
• Multiple instances of events not paying out
• Lack of QA on the instant functionality leading to clawbacks and calling players exploiters
• The original epic forbidden tech packs advertised a tier and stats that were, and still are, unobtainable (suggested by @frank pike )

Let's obviously not forget about ongoing issues like:

• Repair times of 20-30 seconds
• Officers not working and fixes proving unreliable
• Officers being stealth nerfed
• Elite waves crashing (which seems a bad indicator for duo waves)
• Ongoing issues with the dauntless and kir'shara breaking
• GS31 beam delay getting ever longer

The situation is so bad a Dev actually entered chat and you know things are bad when that happens.

Have had 4 people test this so far and its been true for all of them. Im hitting stations that I normally hit that I KNOW I was getting crits against and now im not.

i don't recall anyone complaining about the choice. everyone in my alliance was ecstatic about it. it was the single biggest driver in moving people up in levels. god knows the refinery itself is useless beyond g4. the only way to get mats is through the choice tokens or the 5 per week exchange tokens
