I might be a young player (2yrs) but .. for my feeling scopely is not only aiming the gun on the (ship)deck its has loaded it with a armour piercing bullet making absolutly sure this ship/game will sink

for a lot of USA players spending money is "easier" then europeans/and or other countries .. a hobby is in general .. 10-50 dollars/euro's ... including membership and attributes ...

It wasn't counting Premium Mirror Dust even if the research called for it, so some folks took advantage of that fact and went crazy on those particular Mirror Researches only to be met with "necessary action" afterwards. "New permanent officer credit" seems to apply only to officers as introduced from now on... the old ones will keep their old badges for advancement (or the Pionieer crests or the Outpost Loot or the mirror universe liquid stuff etc) so if you still have lots of those to level you can ignore the new laurels and wait till sourcing gets easier

I actually do have two Reliants, one when i still was starry eyed enough to buy when an arc is published and the other one from the slow lane with daily pulls... first just went max a week ago, second is ... T14 i believe. Theoretically you could get the next one through ship parts in Event Stores or OUtpost Refinery now

Scopely is afraid that if they just gave you some amount of stuff for scrapping that is a fair share of what you put into the ship AND you did already do lots of Research, acquire buffs and such to reduce costs for a new ship you may be able to afford a too good ship without struggling, so it's scaled to "how mcuh could you reduce the cost" to balance it with needing a lot more than one scrapping for a new ship...

The whole G5 scrapping is a joke. 90 days to scrap a g5 epic just to get enough mats to upgrade one G6 epic T10 ship part or one building at ops 70 is beyond dumb. By the time it's scrapped, you've probably moved on to it being enough for half a ship part and no buildings needing to be upgraded.
