How I play incursion: go to some random system, kill some armadas, not waiting for team. Someone higher show up, I cloak or leave.
Pvp? Can I pick on some afk weaker target or armada group, then leave. There is no teamplay in this that makes it in any way enjoyable

I think they really misunderstood how players actually played incursions, raids take time, player have to drop their shields to attack, this gives defenders a window to defend, this defence brings in re-enforcements, battles happen = fun

I just think they don't care anymore...... They disband the player group. They "revamp" rewards to make them less worth it. They increase point milestones in order to favor those that will pay for packs. They remove the more cost-effective options from the store. Every update breaks something else. They punish players for taking advantage of a glitch THEY created. The makes ships/bldgs more expensive, while at the same time limit or lower the resources you get.. They introduce "efficiencies" like the "Instant Latinum" button for exchanges that usually cost twice as much... and use latinum... with amounts that you really only get when you purchase packs. They make changes that dont add anything new to the game.... and whe nthey do, it tags along with a sale button that is now forever on the HUD...... and of course its in place right next to the annoying Help button that pops up every second.. so you keep hitting it instead.

not really. when punching up with a crit crew you'll actually be able to crit. you try the same crew now be it punch up or hit in your ops range you don't crit at all. gotta punch down like 4-5 levels to even get some crits off

SAme thing happened to me with the Orions when I lveled up to Ops 67. I had the same crew, same ship, tech, FCs, etc... I track this all when I get a good set-up so I can re-use.... Before I could take out dozens of Orions at 66. Now I can barely scratch them. I cant even complete that challenge, so on Weds/Sun I do the Fighter Hunt and Damage/Power challenge and thats it. Tired of wasting Sigma repairing for nothing. I can kill dozens of Silent....Hurak... and Gorn. But cant even scratch an Orion's hull. Even tried 23 different crew set-ups. Waste.

This new mode is better imo. Unfortunately it requires more active players. So they need to have multiple servers in an Incursion. No win/lose. slb`s and Albs They already have a set amount of servers sharing the Veil. Servers today don’t seem the have the activity it used to have. I don't know where to start with this incursion...
Skipping over a lot of things, the incursion is keeping everyone off the game.
It's boring, super boring. No one in the dedicated areas for pvp and no defending of bases.

Crossing over to do armadas and not even get contested. No one will bother doing that.

This entire thing is a flop. If the goal is pvp and more interaction, this is not it.
Raiding had it's issues, especially with the scoring. Whoever was lucky enough to find the biggest targets usually won. But despite that, it kept people in game.

My contribution today, a few armadas, got bored after 10 min.
No pvp, no one around. No raiding, no need. No defending, no one attacks unshielded bases.

HOw does scoring in Incursion work ? It says 6 points for player killed and 3-40 for armada. It doesn't say damage to armada, while stfc.pro shows damage. Also score seems inconsistent with my own score, my server has 2k, while I scored 1,5k myself in pvp kills

If it’s silents that have pelia on the no no list, then I’d suggest putting her on your lower deck. We can use that hostile ability to our advantage for that task. It extends the battle and gives you more points per kill

Have you tried it with Pelia below? It can be useful if you can force it to extend the length of the fight and then let neelix kill them with burning below deck. The longer the fight lasts in terms of rounds the better as neelix just burns them to death

It doesn’t stop your apex barrier, that’s the native ability of the hostile that’s inflicting shred onto you. If Pelia is present the hostile gains a lot of apex barrier so you kill them more slowly and then it allows more rounds where you can get points for the apex barrier task

Actually, we've been testing all morning with the scoring, checking accounts across different servers and found that the backend is counting the armadas/pvp kills but the UI isn't updating properly in real time, which is currently being looked at.

i think they are nerfed purposely because of the miners and loot exploit. i did two of them overnight for each of the SMS using regular crews and big ships. all 72 hostiles went through
