Not really a cheat so if you get raided and hammered and the Game is telling you that you can't Shield up. When ships are force recalled, my understanding is you don't get the materials. Not sure why. I had that happen a couple times early on in the Transogen loop from Transogen token space, before they worked out the kinks. Sent a service request and they credited the amount of Transogen I lost.
