Telling time, definitely not a string suit for scopely. Mid-month maintenance? It the 7th. Same whenever daylight savings time comes around, the events end up split up into 2 separate start times and the dailies are earlier for one part of the year and later for the rest.

The Game was before the owner change already too partly a Cash-grab but that's not what is currently killing it. The issues left and right (Lags, broken events, etc, etc,...) are doing a solid job in making sure that people look for other alternatives. If they don't work on those i doubt the game will surive another five years.

The theory is that we'll get g6 mats and sigma trit to use towards g6 ships, specifically our epics or vengeance. G4 scrapping isn't nearly as lucrative as the devs think, you need a ton of efficiency research to make it worthwhile and it's mainly used for ships not buildings or research

The mechanics for ship scrapping exists. It just needs applying to G5 ships. There is no reason not to do it other than pure unadulterated greed. Make people buy packs for G6 upgrades. Block maxing cubes based on maxing a G6 epic. Then buy more packs to max the cubes

They are purposely trying to find a way to implement it that doesn’t help you they way it did previously because they can’t help themselves on outrageous inflated initial costs of everything so they can then sell you multiple generations of efficiencies on those costs.

Or at the very least, stop letting newer maxed officers convert into transporter patterns that are useless after a point.

We get it, officers won’t be added to transporter patterns anymore, but then give us a way to get rid of those patterns in exchange for something more current.
