I think half the problem is possibly that the "required" specs to play the game aren't enough to actually play it in it's current state, but it can depend on what you do, where you go, what you did and what else is on screen.

Performance is shocking, and so much worse than it was in may 2025, when it was the excessive grind of WoK that made many quit.
