g6 economy in terms of mats and specfically trit isnt fine at all. procurement is really slow since rev refinery dilutes everything by giving you a lot of g4 g5 instead of actually giving g6 mats

speed ups is also an issue if you dont grind for it

the reason why 61-68 is relatively fast is because it mostly eats uncommons which u get about 1-2k per day just from rev refinery alone, more from events etc

you start feeling the slow at 68-69 when it starts needing a lot more rare mats over uncommons and at 69-70 its basically all rare and no uncommon

Everything does look to me more and more like a death on rates. There is no real commitment to making improvements; instead, promises of improvement are constantly made – but these are never actually put into practice. On the contrary, the list of problems is knowingly allowed to grow ever longer. And in the meantime, events, tasks and new features are actually being cut back massively to take off load. Increasing server capacity, fixing bugs, and reducing background processing instead would all be more labour-intensive and would require money. These are things that should and must be done if the aim is to keep the game running in the very long term. Instead, it all looks as though the aim is simply to keep current players on board for as long as possible with as little effort as possible.

I’d be interested to see the trend in the number of new players (and how many of them actually stick with it rather than dropping out after a few days) and how much (or less) they are spending compared to others before – I fear it’s a rapidly declining line, and that’s what the business decision on whether to invest is based on.

Player base is just tired of what feels like constant money grabs, I get the game is designed to make money but it's also making it less fun.

I feel like STFC learned the wrong lesson from the Wok arc, they saw people grind and engage so they followed it with mandatory grinds. People grinded the Wok content because we were rewarded for doing it, if you try to force grinding people hate it.

The game will always have paid only content, but it wouldn't hurt to put grind-able content along side it.

CotA is a way for most non-spenders to either source or upgrade ships that are behind due to being above the access level ops for them on release. Unless this is addressed I dont see how many would beable to bring newer speciality ships to their higher ops and get a benifit from them. You cant engage in content if your always having to punch down, and to be honest its very demoralizing.

problem with COTA is it got progressively worse as you progressed through the scoring arcs. it was essentially a mat spend event for those nearly finished with the arcs anyway

The big issue is a lot of older servers dropped down to pretty low player counts a year or so ago and then they started shoving TONS of fresh new accounts onto them. Click repair ship … enjoy a few sips of coffee or beer … and then the ship appears repaired.

Try to use junker in waves, click, click, click, click … no zap and junker misses hitting a few hostiles.

It's not simple lag. Trying to repair ships and rip them back to the new conq armadas before Lorca's fist runs out is impossible. I keep getting never before seen errors and have to click on other ships and go back to attempt to repair the first one. Wasted a good 30 seconds which is a huge portion of the fist time.

Sort of. I recalled my ship, it docked but wasn't registering as being docked. I closed and reopened the game and that was fixed. However ship combat is a little off. My ship attacks but visually the combat ends too early.

Hostiles freeze in all systems, in waves in particular you get multiple ghosts of hostiles from previous and current waves, chat still freezes regularly, event scoring and dailies tracking all freeze until a reset or two to kick them back into showing what’s what.

It’s bad, and has only been building all week

Another couple 70+ folks said enough and have logged off for the last time and left their bases open for whoever wants to hang around enough to try and empty them out.

Switching from seeing a veil system to a normal server system or vice versa requires a restart of the game about half the time even if you zoom out to galaxy view and use the zone transfer buttons.

Gs31 beam either doesn’t work at all in a wave, or has a solid 10-12 second delay making its use problematic at best.

Borg cubes are back to having horrible position tracking in a system.

Multiple click paths redirect people randomly to the pack store instead of actual tab wanted.

It only speeds up the few minutes to attach the outpost not the waves. If you got it from the faction store you'll see it on the Outpost like an Armada Speedup.

My gs31 active ability stopped working. It just won't fire off. It quit on me in the 5th Solo Wave defense causing me to lose the last wave. I alt-f4 quit the game in disgust. Came back after 10 hours and did another Solo Wave and it won't fire off. Again. Wonderful game you have here.

At least this time I anticipated it and had my other ships in position to go on suicide runs to make sure I finished with 1 hp left so I would win.
